If you have been to Mexico and had REAL Mexican food and loved it, then 98% of American Mexican restaurants will be disappointing. With that said, Pablanos is good in the American way. Our waiter was friendly, had a great sense of humor. The bartender made me two excellent martinis and she was very nice too. The food we had was very good. All four of us ordered something different and it was all tasty. Liked that the grilled veggies werent drowned in oil. If you like beer/drinks, you cant beat their happy hour offerings which is why this place is packed early! I would say this place is similar to Mi Pueblo. If you like that place, youll probably like this place. I like Pablanos menu better and I like the food more. They get busy. If youre a snoot that requires lots of attention, this is not your place. Sometimes, its so busy, you might have to wait for a drink refill but nothing unreasonable, well unless youre a snoot. This is a relaxed atmosphere. Relax, order a drink, be patient, enjoy that youre out for the evening. If you require constant attention, this probably isnt your place to eat.

I’m curious of this place on non-game days since the food was very appropriate for the moment… aka… ‘SPORTS BAR MEXICAN FOOD—which isn’t bad but I would only really enjoy it under those circumstances. PLENTY OF TVS were turned to the game. The NACHO CHIPS AND SALSA WERE VEY FILLING (didn’t taste like any store-bought version) The THREE-MEAT AMIGOS BOWL WAS WAY-TOO SEASONED but gave a “WOW” factor for presentation (Grilled Shrimp, Pork, Beef and Peppers over flowing from a bowl-shaped Taco.) Their Cilantro-based Soup was decent—watery, slightly salty with no Cilantro hints- but refreshing in its Lemon/Llime sourness. Even their Guac was very creamy too and lightly seasoned. Great with the chips.

This place is 40 minutes from my house and yet we prefer to go there than other closer Mexican restaurants. That should tell you something. Great quality of food, insane quantity, and awesome service. The staff is friendly, respectful, and they are always around to tend to your needs. We had a large group from church go with us on Sunday, and they made accommodations for all 30 of us. We had a great time! When the bill came, I was chocked at how affordable the place is for the quality and quantity of food. Great flavors, new favorite dishes, and a cool staff. I will highly recommend this place, and we will definitely keep coming back. As a bonus... the kids ate all their food and loved it too!

The food is so good here! I had the Steak & Veggies Chimichangas and my husband had the Pollo Loco! Both had their amazing White Queso on it! I also tried their Presidente Margarita and was disappointed because it tasted well but didnt leave with a buzz...sad cause its a Mexican restaurant and usually serve delicious margaritas (Texas Roadhouse by far still has the best with their Legendary Margarita!). Also wanted to try their "Homemade Churros" only to be told that they ran out (on a Saturday night at 5p???) That was also a disappointment...I will still go back based on the dinner and service!

My wife and I went here once before and the service was average, granted we ate at the bar. This time it was on a Sunday, late afternoon, about 4 waitresses and waiters total, it was not busy (half of the place was empty) and we were seated right away. A waiter and waitress passed us by serving tables on each side of us without acknowledgment, 15 minutes in and still the same scenario. Needless to say we let the hostess know and walked out. I always give restaurants the benefit, we are patient people, but not to acknowledge and get the party their drinks after 20 minutes. I will not be returning.

I tried this place because of the good reviews on here. My search for excellent "authentic" Mexican food continues. Maybe I am spoiled because I lived in Texas, but this place isnt even as good as the Mexican food truck that I lived near in Seattle. Sorry, it was over-priced and just didnt taste that good. Its missing something and the beef seasoning just didnt seem right. They have a nice set up and the service was decent. Last but not least, the salsa was like ketchup. Not authentic at all. Pace or Old El Paso would have been better.

Lunch time. By the bathroom. Was a "girls" luncheon. Screaming babies & hasty service. Felt like I was being rushed from moment of entry. Did not discuss menu w me or encourage questions. Disappointed, but keep going back. Chicken in recipes are shards of white/dark meat. Not high quality.. Wush there was an authentic & honorable about quality of foods mexican restaurant in town. In meantime, have you heard of Maharaja off University? Its awesome! Kingfisher p Beer is good too! 7% alcohol!

They are a little pricey which is why I cant go often, but everything I have tried was very good. I love their guacamole, always order some to take home. Staff was always pleasant and the place was clean. Bathrooms were well stocked and nicely clean as well. Like I said in the beginning just to pricey. Just two of us with Sweet tea to drink and the bill was over $50. Then you gotta tip your server. Geeeezzzzz, I will still go back. Yum.

Great Mexican food! Weve eaten here many times, and they are consistently very good. I think that they make the salsa in-house, as sometimes the spiciness changes a bit. You can order some spicy salsa which brings some respectable heat, too. You cant get near this place on Tuesdays when they do "taco Tuesday." Im looking forward to the day when I can find a parking spot there on a Tuesday!

This place is simply excellent. My husband and I visit frequently and we love it. The food is delicious and always arrives incredibly fast (we usually go for lunch, dinnertime can be pretty busy), and the drinks... oh the drinks. The margaritas are no joke here. None of this $9 cant taste the booze business that most restaurants serve. Do not order two unless you have a designated driver!

Used to be my absolute favorite restaurant but the last two times weve eaten there the service was seriously lacking. And the food just wasnt the same as it used to be. I feel like they are under new management because we used to really enjoy coming here. The server was absent most of our dinner and the place wasnt even busy. We were very disappointed and wont be back for a while.

Pretty darn good!! Tried Poblanos for my first time last night. My wife & I had a California burrito, DRY, and thought it was a close 2nd to the real deal in San Diego (having lived there for 3 years, I have a good background on this specific topic). To date, this is going to be our go-to to get our fix when we are craving those Cali burritos. Great job Poblanos team!

The food is really good and the service is prompt and courteous. I always get the low-carb burrito. Excellent food and have had great service every time. Food portions are big and they gave many vegetarian friendly dishes. They accommodated all special requests correctly and food was served promptly. Its a great value as well as prices are very reasonable.

The staff is friendly, the decor is cute. The margaritas are delicious and the food is authentic and almost always really good. Their complementary chips and salsa are perfect. Sometimes it takes a while to get your food but the wait staff checks in often while you are waiting. This is my go to restaurant.
