Had some really great South Indian foods at India Tower. My only concern was that they make you stand right at the door to get seated. When I went in, there was nobody to greet me. (The reception where the manager sits, is not at the entrance, its at the opposite side of the entrance!) I guess everybody was busy inside the kitchen. Someone came out after a while and instructed me to get seated along the right side of the entrance walkway. To my utter dismay, I was served water only once during my entire dinner. I am not sure who has hired these guys. They really need to learn a few things here and there. After enjoying the delicious food, I was waiting for my bill. Surprisingly, the bill is to be paid at the managers counter and not at your table, even if its not a buffet and my waiter didnt even mention this to me even after I had been sitting there for almost 15 minutes with my empty plates.

Tower is the only place I like eating because I love South Indian veg food and this place offers the best. It is almost as good as my mothers cooking, and even my picky dad will eat here. There appam is really good when its fresh and so is the dosai. Neer moor (spicy buttermilk) is really authentic tasting (well, in comparison to my moms), and the only flaw is that it may be a little too salty. I once had buffet, and to be honest it wasnt stellar. The appam and dosai were kind of dry then. Then again, buffets are not that good in general. The waiters are very nice and have very nice manners. Much better than the new Udupi Cafe in Cary if you want S. Indian food. Lots of Indians (not just S. Indians) eat here, but you wont be hard pressed to find non-Indian customers enjoying lunch and dinner as well. I recommend going for dinner when they dont offer the buffet.

I decided to recommend this restaurant last minute before my family and I went to dinner. We had been to one other Indian restaurant as a family years ago and had a very bad experience. However recently I had tried a few other Indian places in other states and really enjoyed them. So I convinced my family, who are meat eaters, to try it out and we did not regret our decision. It had such great food that we will keep going back. The sweet corn soup was delicious and so was every other dish that we ordered. The service was timely and prompt, and the waiter was very friendly. Most of the customers were Indian except for us, so we knew we would be eating in a great Indian restaurant.

If I remember correctly this place had a name meenakshi bhavan and i had eaten several times at this place since 2015. As a south indian, this place was the place to go. This place had the crew and chefs who were hailing from south of india and they knew the menu items and its authentic flavor well. I had been to this place on sunday mar26th, the management has changed and i find lot of crew members from north of india. No offense in that but they didnt know the dishes well and the flavor of the south was not at all in place. Sambhar was watery mess , vada was old and hard just to name a few. The servers were also least interested to attend to guest.

We were in Morrisville for a year and recently moved to a different location. We personally love the food of this restaurant. Traditional Indian food, especially South Indian food. Their Parotta with veg kuruma is really awesome. Price are little costly. But the taste of the food deserves. We never expected that we could get such home like food in US. We loved the food and so went managed to go there every 10 days once or atleast once in a month. Completely vegeterian. If it got nonveg also it would have so good. But even now the taste of the food is really like a home made food. Couldnt find a veg restaurant in Atlanta.

Food tastes okay...not so good or out of the world kind of thing. But dont trust them if you have any allergy concerns because they really dont care. My son(6 yr old) have severe dairy allergy ...We ordered chole after confirming from the kitchen they said they can make it without dairy. I usually taste the food before giving it to my son .... I clearly tasted the cream they used in it..but still I gave it to my son a tiny bite just because we confirmed it .My son didnt eat that as he started to have reactions by taking the 1st bite. I am really disappointed with this else I could have given this a 3 star.

Tower used to be good South Indian restaurant. They have degraded quality a lot. I am eating at this place since last 5 yrs and food was always good. Recently food is really bad basic stuff like sambhar and coconut chutney is not fresh.. No tatse at all. Same tasteless food in dinner and lunch. Sorry to see such a good restaurant degrading quality. Not sure if new chef and waiters. New waiters are carless and arrogant. They dont care much about customers. Sad but i wont waste my money again by eating at tower. Good bye Tower i gave you three chances but you guys are not interested in improving things...

1. Food is good. 2. The worst customer service. Never had this kind of experience in any other restaurants. I have been to the restaurant late first day.. So I came back without having food. Next day I reached 20 mins before closing the restaurant for lunch. I was told by the waiter "WE ARE ABOUT TO CLOSE, I AM OBSERVING YOU SINCE A WEEK. YOU ARE COMING LATE. PLEASE BE ON TIME". As a customer I do not want to hear such a kind of f**king words. That was the second time that I have been to the restaurant. I dont think the staff lack in customer etiquette.

Coming from Florida, not a huge selection of good Indian Cuisine. My wife and I are not vegetarians, but we decided since it was a buffet, it would be worth a try. Now we go at least once a month. Service is always decent, but the lunch buffet (~$9) is so good, you dont have to worry about the service anyway. Dishes rotate so its not the same thing every day, but its always very good. Dont be afraid to go even if youre not a vegetarian, plenty of dishes with tofu/chickpeas/paneer will provide you enough protein. Healthiest way to have a buffet!

The food is always consistent expect on the large crowded days like festivals. This is your best shot in town for the vegetarian option. The waiter are nice and I have always tried buffet as it gives me more variety while eating. i would recommend their rice items as they are always good and they have a decent selection of sweet dishes which gives you a choice. Ambiance is good and place can be a tad crowded at time mostly at the peak lunch hours on weekend. All in all best bet of the fans of South Indian Vegetarian.
