"I had a bad experience at taste of India and was ready to write off Indian food. But being gluten free I decided to give it another chance. I ordered tomato rasam (which was amazing and full of flavor!) They dont give you much for 2.99. I ordered the tikka chicken masala which they said is the same as butter chicken. It was supperb. A light orange color, creamy, and full of whole chunks of chicken breast. We also went back two days later and had the lamb vindaloo, chicken biryani with raita and they all were amazing. Full of flavor, if you get mild or hot it will not be overwhelming, and we got two meals out of each dish (excluding the rasam). The restaurant was kind of dark and empty so we got take out both times. Both times it was around 28 $ for soup and two entrees. The food is fresh and authentic. Gluten free friendly! Although the person who I spoke w was not familiar with what gluten was I asked her what was in everything I ordered and felt comfortable eating it (and had no reactions). "

I went to Tandoor one day for a quick $8.99 buffet during my lunch hour and wasn’t disappointed. The buffet isn’t big on variety and doesn’t offer a lot of selections, but what it did offer was delicious, hot, and fresh. The entree that stuck out to my taste buds the most was the Vegetable Korma, which had a nutty, tasty sauce and a variety of vegetables that were fresh and cooked well. The Nan (always a favorite accompaniment to an Indian meal) was piping hot, fresh, and buttery--I think I ate the entire basket that was served to me, which is a first! The basmati rice was an excellent side dish, and the yogurt sauce for the meat dishes was tangy and tasty. The "strip-mall" atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired both inside and out, and the service could be friendlier; but overall, this restaurant and Taste of India (just down the street) can’t be beat for good-quality, affordable Indian food in the otherwise acultural cesspool that is Brandon, FL. I’ll be back for another lunch. :)

First, the food is fair enough and prices are okay. Taste of India is right across the stress and my wife and I enjoy it much more. Weve been to this place twice. Both because of the weird hours of Taste of India. The second time we came, we had to leave before getting our food. The environment is very shabby and not at all ethnic. Its generic and commercial and worst of all they have modern Christian "rock" blaring on a little stereo by the register. We asked if they could turn it down or find something more soothing, but they insisted it stay as it is. I suppose they are trying to appeal to the church crowd. Anyway, we had to leave, as eating a little earlier just wasnt worth sacrificing good food and experience. We went across the street and waited for the other restaurant to open.

Horrible food and chicken was half cooked. Informed that its half cooked and waiter came back saying cook always makes this way. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. We ordered Chicken Vindaloo and it was horrible. I dont how this restaurant still OPEN. DO NOT GO HERE... other restaurants near by or in Tampa are way Better. Very disappointed. Top on the bad food, charged $9 tip because we were 4 adults + two 3 years kids. Not Happy at all. AVOID THIS PLACE....

Used to be my favorite. I used to buy biryani every week for my entire family. So for the past two weeks when I bought biryani here I found hair from their Rita. I mean first time I let it go hardly but has repeated again yesterday. I lost my appetite, it was really disappointing and disgusting . I do understand no one does it intentionally however hair is just not acceptable. I am done with this place whatsoever!

The tandoor was my first exposure to Indian food, and I thought it was pretty darn good. Great atmosphere, very diverse clientele, super friendly waitress. The food is cooked when you order, so it takes a bit of time, but its priced really well and tastes really good- so its totally worth it. Im looking forward to going back.

I cant comment on food because we were never waited on. There were 20 customers and one waitress who looked bewildered. Poor thing was trying but was too inexperienced to handle it. Management should really look into hiring another 2 waiters/ waitresses so people like me with their entire family dont simply walk out.

Best Indian restaurant Ive ever been to. The chicken tikka masala is amazing. Try the masala dosa also if you have a chance. The staff was no nice and accommodating. They kept the restaurant open for us even when we showed up near closing time. I may make another trip to Brandon just to eat there again! A+++++++

My favourite Indian restaurant in the whole of Brandon. Nice family owned place. Even when they are busy, you can tell they put a lot of effort into giving each customer the best customer experience possible. Their selection of food is amazing. I recommend the chicken vindaloo, beef curry and chicken curry.

This place is amazing, authentic south Indian food. Always consistent, beautiful atmosphere and the service is excellent. This is the only place in Tampa/Brandon that makes authentic south Asian food and does not corrupt the recipes with sub standard fillers and oils, like all the places around.

My god, this place is a miracle. Ive been here twice. I got the chicken curry both times, and also had the pleasure of feasting on my neighbors dishes just to try something different. There are so many delicious options, its difficult to settle for one. Eat here, it is to die for. Yum

We had been searching for a good Indian restaurant for 2 years in Orlando. After moving to the Brandon area, we finally found this restaurant and are so happy. The paneer butter masala was perfect, and the atmosphere and service were fantastic. I highly recommend!!
