The location was busy and did not seem adequately staffed to handle the crowd. Two of our four orders were incorrect after a twenty plus minute wait and when we asked for a correction were told that those items had been out at time of order so were substituted. Additionally we were charged for the more expensive item although it was not what was received. Fortunately one employee, Trina (?), stepped up and fixed our bill and politely explained what had happened. Shes the only reason this isnt a 1-star review. The food: Pulled pork was flavorless and not worthy of being called BBQ. Mac n cheese was likewise forgetful. Seasoned fries were overly seasoned. The baked beans had a nice twist and were good. If you are looking for good BBQ you can find significantly better at at least a 1/2 dozen other joints.

We eat out ALOT and when I say ALOT...it is no exaggeration! And we are seeing more and more of this everywhere!! Not to impressive when you walk up at 8:30 and doors are locked( sign says they close at 9, which they always have)...ask employee at window why theyre closed early? She states there not, opens door for us. We wanted 2 of our orders to eat there and 1 togo. She made them all togo. Everything included sauces were already put away.Told her again we were eating there , she told us she put sauce in the bag. Couldnt even get tea to drink because spouts were in a bucket of water being cleaned. All food was put away by 8:50. Im sorry, but if you close at 9, you should be ready to serve til 9. Not ready to leave at 9. Wont be back for a while.

I am from Eastern North Carolina and grew up in vinegar based chopped barbeque. Let me tell you I have converted. Pulled pork is so succulent. And this place does it right. And this location is the best. The line is no bigger than it needs to be so there is no waiting or confusion over who is going to wait on you. I am all Paleo these days so I dont eat grains of any kind and this is one of the only places where it is so easy to so just that. I also live the links. The staff is really nice and they have a drive thru which is handy if it is raining and you just want to get on your way. But I always sit outside because I love the terrace which is completely covered on the side and half way converted in front.

Fun BBQ ambiance, decent pricing, but I was in a group with young kids who had limited selections of "kid friendly"/not messy food. 2 of the 3 adults in our group who ordered Mac & cheese said it was too oily, but I got the jalapeno Mac and loved it. The fries are crisp and seasoned lightly so theyre flavorful without overwhelming the meat, which, lets face it, is the whole point of going to a BBQ joint. There are a variety of sauces to add to your meal as desired, so you can change it up as you go. The drive thru is a definite plus. Great Summer eatery, but Id say more for adults and older kids.

Tried to order online, got to the restaurant and they just told me about the orders they did have and nothing about trying to service me. I left, then remembered I paid online with my credit card. Tried to call to get it cancelled, she just kept telling me they hadnt put the order in yet. I guess I was the only online order, I have no idea, she was very unhelpful. Ive eaten here twice in the past and the food was fatty and flavorless. Ill never go back!

Great BBQ and quick. Rarely pre-made sides and BBQ beef come off exceptional. But here it is does; niche selection of drinks; and outdoor seating. However the lack of lidded trash can makes the place a fly and odor magnet. Shameful as that is a disgraceful touch to the ambiance and definitely takes away from the experience of great food. Dont let trashcans ruin your restaurant! Seriously, the food is too good for that.

Hit or Miss is the best way to describe the food. When its good, the food is AWESOME. Brisket, the sauce, the garlic bread....followed by the Jalepeno Mac n Cheese....perfection. And sometimes, they serve you dried out meat and a bowl of mac thats been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour too long. It seems like this is the case every OTHER time I pick up food from there.

Never had a bad experience with the food. Their pulled poor is good but it depends on the sauce you like whether its for you. They do have a good selection of sides such as mac, Jalapeño mac, beans, greens, fried okra, fries, and a few more. Its also a pretty good value if you get the lunch meal. Dinner meal is large, I am a hungry man and its almost too filling.

Our first time here we both had the pulled pork and were very pleased. The sides were pretty good but a little cool (we got there at 8 pm so Im sure they werent super fresh). The Carolina mustard sauce was really superb. Ill definitely be back, maybe earlier for a better chance at hot sides.

Best BBQ in Tampa by far, and Ive been everywhere. Places like Sonnys, Jimbos and Dickeys dont come close. Ive tried it all and yet to get a bad item. I recommend the brisket or pulled pork and the Mac and corn fritters. This has become a frequent for lunch with the team at work.

The best concoction of stew made #Rom the variety of meats they smoke daily, especially the burnt ends. The aroma in the air draws you in alone. Sometimes I find myself driving there just to circle the building several times to intoxicate myself for a fix. Its addictive.

First visit today, and it wont be our last! Ribs are awesome! Cheesy Mac & Cheese is great. Their sweet sauce is very good. I also had a apple strudel thing that was to die for!!! Highly recommended you give this place a try.

The service was very poor and after choosing our sides (collards and Mac) and waiting 10 minutes our sides were ice cold and tasteless and the ribs were fatty and barely there, horrible service. I will not be returning.

The bbq was good and the choices of sides were plenty and good. Majority of seating is outdoors. It was hot and the food attracted way to many flies. We had a party of 4 and 2 of the orders were wrong.

Pulled pork was tender, sweet and bold sauce was the best (of the 3 they had), Brunswick stew (usually extra $) was a little too "burnt" and the beans are tasty but were cold. Nice staff.

I enjoyed my first visit! Wish there was more inside table seating, however I loved the midst fans to accommodate the Florida heat. My favorite was the mac&cheese!

Excellent staff, ran out of white chicken so gave me white chicken and a large side for free. Food is amazing, for 6 people we paid $51 so excellent pricing!

Good and fast BBQ. Friendly staff and easily available with Uber Eats as well. Most seating is outside in a covered area. There are a few stools inside.
