First off the smell is amazing when u walk in, it was late afternoon and the service was excellent. My wife and I were disappointed to hear they were out of their Loaded Potato Salad and her being 6mo pregnant almost wept... But we were satisfied by their perfectly seasoned fries and an order of coleslaw. During our meal the manager unexpectedly came out with a big smile and two orders of freshly made potato salad completly making my wifes day. I would highly recommend HolyHogBBQ again and especially this location.

Dale mabry location, no flavor chicken was dry and no smoke flavor.been patronizing the other locations and they are still pretty good. The Dale mabry location is just not the same. No flavor at all. The service is also sub-par they do not take away your plates like the other locations and ask you if the food was good like the Armenia location where they are awesome..and its a busier store. This store is slow now for a reason..please fix this soon! Hate for this store to ruin your good reputation in Tampa.

Theres nothing better than coming here for some burnt-ends and sweet potato fries. Those are probably the best items on the menu. Runner up, for me, is the Texas Turkey Stack. They seem rather conservative with their bacon on it... which sucks... because I freakin love bacon. Once they take care of that, I think itll be an amazing sandwich. Id love for them to add an food-allegen guide on their website (*hint, hint*), but otherwise I have no complaints. Its tasty stuff.

First of all the green beans were briny and vinegary.... My garlic bread put under the meat turned into mush Im sorry 5 slices unevenly cut and tough as eating shoe leather was my first experience only the mac n cheese and baked beans were good. I would fire ur meat cooker. Too little portions for high price... Nah... Wont waste my gas or money again. Ill stick to local haunt independently owned. Jazzys, Best BBQ in Carrollwood and not stingy on portions.

I was blown away by Holy Hog. I love the ambiance and the wall decor. My boyfriend took me here on Sunday and since then all I have been thinking about is Holy Hog BBQ! I ordered the Texas style brisket plate, it was soooo tender ! I also got two sides; sweet potato souffle and corn fritters. I am pretty sure I gained like 10 lbs. Amazing food! You will not be disappointed. I cant wait to go back!

Let me tell you about my experience at the Dale Mabry location. The food was greasy, lukewarm, and had the consistency of shoeleather. No smoke flavoring at all. Sides were pathetic. Cafeteria style service but still a spot for gratuity on the receipt? Hot garbage. Sucky service. High prices. NO SLICED PORK. Save your money.

Very good BBQ. The Texas Turkey Stack was very good. Two generous layers of turkey and Ham, typed of with bacon and swiss cheese. My only disappointing was the jalapeño Mac and cheese had onions in it. My wife loved the taste but I can eat onions and was so disappointed because it looked great and she said it was.

I highly recommend everything. Good solid barbecue classics, like pulled pork and Texas sausage, with tasty side dishes. Good monthly specials, but they take forever to make. Local beer list that I like, and desserts look great though I havent tried. Get a bag of pork skins while youre checking out!

Drove to this location from Channelside only to get home to find an incomplete order. While I was waiting for my order another gentleman came in to pick up the meal that was missing from his carry out order. 1st and last visit. Zero attention to detail by Jennifer working behind the counter.

Good BBQ, so-so side items, lackluster staff. - Ribs and briskets are divine. Burnt ends are over-rated though. Sides are very mediocre. The mushrooms are arguably the better item. Lots of seating and clean. The staff is a bit weak, not very helpful. Overall, an acceptable experience.

I normally like this place. However, today I was not impressed with the food or the service. I ordered a full slab of ribs which i did not even get and then they had no flavor at all. After paying 54 dollars for the whole thing i didnt even get the bread that supposed to come with it .

Its very similar to Dickeys BBQ if youre familiar with that. You order from a several meats and several sides. Once its up, you take it to a table and enjoy. They have three BBQ sauces on each table which were all pretty good (sweet, hot, and mustard-based).

Ordered it for delivery. The pork was incredibly bland on its own, however their bbq sauces are excellent. The Mac and Cheese was a major letdown though, bland is an understatement for it. Id rather get mac from Wawa

A great barbecue place. My wife misses the smoked ham, but loves the jalapeno mac&cheese. Theres really nothing there that I dont like. Try the "Burnt ends". Theyre good but a little too sweet for me.
