Since this Popeyes opened I can count on 1 hand how many times my order was right. Ive never come in and there be more than 2pieces of spicy chicken ready. Most of the workers dont seem to want to be there or are there to socialize with each other. For this place to never be busy, I dont understand how they get so many orders wrong. If they had a line out of the door I could understand a little more if there were this amount of mistakes but since thats not the case they should have 10x more accuracy with orders. Every experience at this Popeyes has been no less than 40mins. In that 40mins (without a line), I order my food (normally 2 meals), wait for spicy chicken,get my food, return my food because the order is wrong, wait for the correct order (behind other cars that are waiting for their food), get my food and drive 5mins to my house. I thought Popeyes was a fast food restaurant .. I guess not in Ruskin,FL. With a new location like this and the horrible performance/ customer service, it will only get worse.

The food is delicious. It takes a long time to get the food if you show up at lunch or dinner time. Fountain drinks are refillable as well as iced tea. The employees up front by the register seem friendly and try to make you happy. Drive through has lines wrapped around the building at lunch and dinner I suspect because the food is fantastic. Do check your order as their slammed most of the day which fosters mistakes and rushing. Do expect to wait for your fresh cooked delicious lunch or dinner, it will not usually be a quick trip. It has been very well worth the wait thus far for me.

Im a truck driver and I decided to stop by my favorite chicken place and grab a bite. I tried to go into the lobby but they had locked the door. Their hours on the door said the lobby didnt close til 10 pm, it was 9:30. I seen some employees inside and asked if they would let me in because the sign said the lobby didnt close til 10. They told me to go through the drive thru. I told them I was in a 18 wheeler and they still wouldnt open the lobby. I was pissed and walked offed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

With the SWEET N CRUNCHY Tender ads all over the store, menu, and parking lot, they seemed like the thing to try. Ordered them at drive thru. "Sorry we are out of those". Then give me a large red beans and rice(what I stopped in for). Get to window. "Sorry all we have is small red beans and rice." Forget it.. All need to just close down this place.. But it sure would make a good spot for a REAL POPEYES!! Total disappointment!!

Well when I did get my food it was good everything seemed fresh but most of the time I never even ordered my food I left the drive thru at least 3 times trying to order food and no one would take my order or they wouldnt even respond to the speaker last time I waited over 20 minutes behind a car who was told to wait and never took their order. The manager needs to rehire or train all over or the manager needs retraining!

Waited 8 minutes in the drive thru and no answer no response..... pull up to the window and they tell me theyre not going to be open for another hour because their chicken truck just came in! Probably should put a note on things so customers are waiting there were multiple people behind me and no one had any idea. Dont waste your time in Sun Citys Popeyes

The local patrons have given up on this location because of the poor service and long wait times when the place is dead with no customers. Ive been here on 3 separate occasions and each filled with its own set of blunders. As a local guide my reviews will not deviate from the truth and i can not recommend this location.

Ordered an 8 piece in the drive through, was asked to pull ahead and someone would bring it out. After 15 minutes I went in and asked if they had forgot about me, only to be told it would be another 8 minutes. Finally got my order and everything was cold. I love Popeyes but I will never go back to this one again.

Tried ordering chicken tenders, they informed me they were frozen and unavailable. NO apology, substitution or anything was offered. Employees are rude, disrespectful and half the menu was unavailable at 8:40 pm! Terrible business, customer service and food industry practices. Wouldnt recommend to ANYONE.

I go through the drive thru everyday to get my large sweet tea. The girls always remember no ice and I dont need the straw. I love the tea and have gotten a little spoiled because I am now critic everywhere else I go and thier tea just doesnt taste good to me :). I also love the biscuits and jelly.

Horrible service no hours of operation. Was at intercom for 5 minutes prior to closing . And had to drive to window to be told they were closed and have a good night. Went to Wendys. Wanted some damn chicken. This place always disappoints either runout of chicken or a side or something.

I have not yet had a good experience there since theyve open. The chicken we just received looked old and re fried. I never in my life seen anything like this. Or my order is wrong or your the only person in line or even at the store it takes 15 min.

I love the chicken and buttermilk dressing. But the last 3 times they have been sold out. How can you be sold out and stay in business. Lots of teens laughing inside and no sense there is any leadership to get the food out at this location.

I ate here on March 31st and within 3 hours I was throwing up. I got food poisoning after eating here. I filed a complaint with the department of health. I will never be back. Please look other dining choices. Dont take the chance

Worst drive thru ever! Waited over 45 min for 2 surf an turf an a 4 piece for. All employees were outside upon arrival in a car. Very rude! They need to fire all employees an start over! They are all completely ridiculous here!

Rude unfriendly people who seem annoyed that they even have to take your order. Mumbling not even speaking clearly to acknowledge you. No eye contact when they are handing you order mumbling what I can only assume is thank you.

My iced tea tasted like it was fermenting, and my chicken was stale and COLD. To top it all off the food made me vary sick. This is coming from someone that used to like popeyes. Not anymore ha ha

Rude, slow, and lazy. They had people stacked on top of each other in the drive thru, and no one inside. Your better off going to McDonalds. Also, pretty sure my fries were microwaved and stale

Awful, just awful. Popeyes is great at every franchise but this one. Reheated chicken, stale biscuits and surly uninterested servers...not what Im used to. Fire this franchises manager.
