Went for a Chinese tonight. Didnt experience the staff as others did since mine was take away. Singapore noodles were fine; Pork spring roll was a bit greasy; Hot & Sour soup was missing both the hot and the sour. Overall not a poor experience, but Id not hunt out this place. Edit: 2015 The service is still quite poor even with the mgr (gave an argument when I ordered, assuming I might not pick it up ... it was $12?!?!); however, the food is really quite good (e.g. not greasy like the neighbouring locations). A reviewer from years ago stated to order over the phone, give them a couple extra minutes and then just pick it up -- I agree. The food is better than the 5 other east Asian take away joints in the area (within 10 min drive), so Id rather go here than anywhere else (Im in Waterford) as long as you dont deal with the in-store staff. Their lunch specials are still spot on. I increased to 4 stars from my original visit 4 years ago (3 stars), but theyve a distance to go from here.

When I called to place a simple delivery order by phone, the people were very rude to me. When asked how far they deliver, not only did they put me on hold to talk about me to their other coworkers (which I could fully understand since they were not on mute) but they never answered my question and responded later to me with impolite manners. Im sorry, but a restaurant that does not deliver 11 minutes away from them is lazy, pathetic, and not courteous to the needs for customers very close to them. 5 miles away should NEVER be an issue with delivery. I get PIZZA further away than 5 miles. I HATE YOU PINE GARDEN. LEARN TO GROW SOME MANNERS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS.

I ordered from here on a whim because I had a coupon. I ordered about two days worth of food for like 17 dollars. I got the seasme chicken combination platter (it doesnt come all together, you get a carton of fried rice and a whole container of chicken and soup and an egg roll. And i ordered a small chicken Lo Mein thinking that the combination platter would be my dinner/midnight snack and cold breakfast before class lol) Anyways when the food came I had WAY more than I expected to get. I loved every bite of it too. Its so rare for anyone to find cheap Chinese food AND good quality. I will be back and you should go too!!

Ordered here for the first and last time. The wait was about 20 minutes longer than I had been told but I can understand that restaurants get busy. However when I arrived home after getting my order, I found my rice to be dark brown and dry and flavorless. It was almost as if it had been left out in the open overnight and reheated from the previous day. I called them to discuss this and was at first told that it was because they had given me my food later than expected, then that changed and they said it was fresh but would give me a credit for my next visit. That will more than likely not happen. Absolutely Disgusted.

I was told my food would get here in 45 minutes and, when an hour went by, I chalked it up to traffic and cooking even though its Sunday. Then 1 hour and 45 minutes passed, so I called to make sure my address was right and then again when it was 2 hours. BOTH times I was told, "well its been a while so it should be right there." I received a call back 10 minutes later, informing me that the delivery guy was there, knocked and "called" me and drove back. Long story short, I am eating Progressive soup and unless you want to be mistaken for a fool, I wouldnt order here. "Well get it right next time." NEXT TIME LOL

Worst experience ever, the website have wrong prices, better you call and get the right amount and the name of the person you speak with. The food tastes like is been in the freezer for a long time and they just re-heat it. Be aware, do not order lunch because they will put more rice than meat, who wants to eat that much carbs!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to a different place or give it a try, but it will be a waste of money. The person on the phone is impatient and I guess they need to get another line or improve their website to gather more orders.

they have AMAZING FOOD. But their customer service sucks. I order from them all the time. In the past 2 months at least 6 times. I ordered food last night, and it wasnt cooked properly (first time happening. I wanted everything extra crispy and it was soggy) so I tried calling back and couldnt reach them last night during the storms so I called back today right after I got off work . I just asked if they could remake my food properly, I didnt want money back. Just my food remade. And they refused. I will not go back, and suggest you dont use them.

Though the place looks like a dump. I have always received good food from this place. They dont know what customer service is unfortunately and I would always recommend you pick up the food if you want to get what you ordered. If this place would respect there customers and fix there service it would triple there return customer and ability to retain first time triers. Unfortunately this seems to be one of those family Chinese restaurants they use to create visas and bring in more immigrants.

Asked for no vegetables with my meat, when the delivery came full of vegetables. I called to ask to see if I could get a refund for just that part of the order or get a credit for a future order. The first thing they come up with was "are you allergic?". After they only were willing to have me wait for a replacement. In a world where theres always someone willing to compete for business, I think Ill go elsewhere.

Called to place and order (they had no idea how big my order was going to be). I started with mine, but I dont like any soups so I asked to have a can of soda in place of the soup (Ive done this before). She said no, I need to get a soup even if I dont like it, then agreed I should order elsewhere. Tsk tsk. They rather lose a customer over a can of soda. Pretty sad. Crappy customer service if you ask me!

Love it. Since there is no good restaurant near my house I been trying to find a Chinese place to invest my money on. I found Pine Garden through grub huh and order it for deliver for several times and was never disoppinted. And decided to make a dine in order everything was nice but just the restaurant was not set for dine in but the employee keeps the restaurant clean so not bad at all.

I called in for take-out. The gentleman was very courteous on the phone. After telling me my total, he said it would be about 15 minutes. When I got there (at just about exactly 15 minutes), he was just bringing my bag to the front. He looked at me and called me by name. (Maybe I was the only pick-up at the time?) I paid, and left. All I can say is... YUMMY!!! Food was delicious!!
