This was my second dining experience at Wasabi bowl. The first time the service was good but the portions were small and pricey. So I decided to try it again and bring a date. After being seated by one waitress another waiter came to our table and was extremely rude. The salads came and were small, then we were given soup on the house which had small tofu chunks in it and hair. These were quite possibly the worst tasting soup and salad of my life. The sushi platter came and was the worst quality fish. The sides of the meat were brown and you could see where they had been hastily cleaned and skin bits remained. Needless to say it was a waste of money. Finally, the food was nothing more than average and priced like a 5 star resort. Overall, i gave the restaurant 2 chances to impress me and both times were huge let downs.

My husband and I just got back from lunch at Wasabi Bowl after trying to find someplace different to go in Port Orange. It was a fantastic lunch, and I got to eat healthy too. I had the steamed chicken and vegetables with brown rice and it was enough for 2 meals. I had miso soup with it (though it wasnt very hot) and My husband had the regular chicken and mixed vegetables with the wonton soup. He usually complains everytime we go out to eat, but he said that the food was phenomenal!!! Now thats saying something!!! This was our second trip there , but the first time for lunch, which was very resonable priced at $6.95 with a pot of jasmine green tea for a buck. I cant wait to go back!

Port Orange and Daytona have suffered from poor restaurants (especially asian) for many years now. I was really excited when they came to town, but still a little skeptical. I have lived in major metroplexes for most of my life (Dallas/Atlanta/Orlando) and Wasabi Bowl is my favorite asian bistro ever! The food is awesome, the presentation is creative and colorful. Im so glad Wasabi Bowl has come to our small town of Port Orange, now we have a great beach, and a great Asian Bistro!! (P.S. General Tsos is my favorite dish, the Hawaiian Roll is my favorite Roll, and the Hot and Sour Soup is my favorite soup!!)

Went there for the first time around 730 PM Sunday night. Ordered the Sesame chicken and Garlic chicken. Both were the best dish of that kind we had ever had, from any restaurant. I was completely impressed. Their jasmine tea was also very strong and tasty. We also got a Hawiian sushi roll as an appetizer. Iwasnt fond of the crunchy texture of the coconut shrimp, but it had good flavor. My boyfriend asked for white sauce for the sushi, and they brought out a small dish of it. They wound up charging him fifty cents, which he thought was odd. Overall, I loved it and want to go back for more :)

I keep giving this place second chances, but I just cant any more. I went there for lunch today, and I got the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. It was so terrible, I cant even believe they served it. Then the wait-staff implied that it was my fault, because I had ordered it. They did not take it off the bill, even though it was so disgustingly gloopy I didnt eat it. I tried. I really did. But the way they treated me was really the last straw. I am NEVER going to Wasabi Bowl again, and you shouldnt either.

I am very pleased with my first dining experience. We sampled a variety of sushi rolls, salad and appetizers. I am honest in saying that every item was excellent. I especially enjoyed the cucumber salad and the Hawaiian Roll was amazing.I know that we will be visiting very often, as we live very close by. I will be recommending others to try. It will take several visits before you can sample from the very diverse menu. I wish this family owned restaurant great success, there service was top notch.

After hearing great things about this place I was excited to try it out. Upon getting there we were promptly seated but then waited for our drink order to be taken. Finally our drink order was taken and the girl disappeared. Then as I was trying to place my food order, our waiter walked away to seat another table! Our food took forever, we werent warned that sushi means a piece of gross fish on top of rice and the soup was terrible and had a hair in it. I will NEVER eat at Wasabi Bowl again!

My wife and I ate at Wasabi Bowl last night and literally sat around this evening talking about all of the places that we could have eaten that would have been better for the $30 we spent here. The Teriyaki had less than no flavor, the meat sat on a small mountain of overcooked onions, and even after ordering and paying for extra vegetables, there were only 3 pieces of broccoli and a few slices of carrots (which had no seasoning). By far the worst meal we have had since moving to Port Orange.

Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant in Valentines Day and do not know what to expect from this place. I order the Hawaii Roll and Rock & Roll cuz I love sushi. My girl ordered shrimp and scallop in garlice sauce. Everything is wonderful and deliciuos. The waitress gave us some mochi ice cream as dessert. We are more than satisfy with this place and we will definitely come often. Thankyou Wasabi Bowl for been here in this over developed citiy with too many average restaurants.

Every dish at Wasabi Bowl is a step above other Asian places. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. It would be hard for me to recommend specific dishes because I love them all so much but my favorites are the Yaki Udon, Singapore Mei Fun, General Tsos Chicken, Hawaiian Roll, Soft Shell Crab, Cucumber Salad, and Hot & Sour Soup. Perfect place for a business lunch, dinner date, or just any time you want good food.

Tried to do business with another local business. I enjoy sushi, so do many of my friends. The food was average and priced high for this market area. Placed a 75.00 take out order and would have returned for a second chance at making it right the second time..... Guess some owners dont respect the fact customers (locals) talk. Recommend or dont recommend other local businesses. Average sushi, Average restaurant. High Prices!!!!!

I cant speak for their whole menu, but this is not quality sushi. I couldnt tell the difference between the meat in my salmon roll and my tuna roll. Definitely not worth the time or money. My friends had some chicken dishes that looked good, but Im not sure how they tasted. If youre in town and you want sushi, take the time and spend the money at a nicer place... maybe Sapporos or Ronin.

Waited 10 minutes to dine in, menus were literally thrown at us, never asked what we wanted to drink, another customer came in to get a miso soup to go and was served instantly. When we got up to leave, after having never been acknowledged, they said sorry we have a big take out order. Well enjoy the tip from takeout

Great Quality - Fast Service, lunch special is the best deal in town. Ive been there at least once a week since grand opening and they have become my local favorite for sushi. Can call for the lunch special on a weekend and have it ready in 15 most times for pick up. Their volcano roll is the family favorite.
