If I can give this place zero stars I would. This place is under new management and the quality of food is horrible. With the previous management, the food and customer service was excellent. Recently I had ordered from this place. I ordered mild Mongolian beef but asked for extra chili oil on the side so I can adjust the spiciness. They told me they couldnt do that. The beef was tough and burnt as well. The Generals Chicken didnt have any flavor. The shrimp in the lo mien was over cooked and barely had any shrimp. The crab ragoon was over cooked as well. I threw the food out and called Plum Tree to complain about the quality of food. I asked for a refund but they wouldnt honor my request unless i brought the food back. They actually told me to dig it out of the trash and bring it back so they can refund my money. Worst service ever and they were very rude as well. I will never order from them again.

I am from NYC and I have been a loyal customer for 4 years, because their food is awesome and they remind me of some of my favorite pick up restaurants in the East Village in Manhattan!! I have many favorite dishes, but I truly enjoy their Beef with Oyster sauce and the Chicken with black bean sauce. No matter what rice you order, its made to perfection. Tony and his crew take care of their clients. If you call 15-20 minutes before you come, your food will be ready and precise. Portions are not a concern at the Plum Tree as they are always providing more than enough at unbelievable prices.. Plum Tree is a take out establishment. It is the 1 take out place that when you get home, you will not be disappointed. I give their food 4 stars, and you can take it anywhere!!!

First of all the young lady you have working taking your orders was very unpleasant and rude. Not 1 but 3 different times we ordered the food and it was of bad quality. I have been a loyal customer for the past 4 years and dont plan on ever returning. Rice tasted old and reheated, boneless spare ribs were all grease and ligaments, my wifes teriyaki chicken was burned. When we first started coming 4 years ago to buy food from your business the food quality was outstanding and I always recommended your place to other friends and work colleagues. Hopefully you change this and remember that food quality is as important as customer service.

Didnt like the taste nor the texture of the rice. We ordered house special fried rice and General Taos chicken w/ plain fried rice and it was no where close to Chinese fast food cooking. Definitely these two dishes do not compare to NYC Chinese food if youre looking for the experience.

I ordered: Boneless spare ribs and lo mein Ribs were not good, not sweet like Im used to and noodles were super greasy not even with the sauce Place was not comfortable to dine in hot!! many plants and boxes everywhere??!! i dont know I just wasnt feeling it Wont be back.

Best Chinese food with best prices. The food is not overly bready with not much meat like other cheap places. UPDATE: lowered the rating bc this place is no longer the same as it was with previous owners/management. Food seems to be sourced and prepped differently.

We found a HAIR in our food. Called to let them know & asked if we should bring it back? They said no said we will get a refund hung up no problem. 5mins later they called us back & said that we are no longer welcomed. Dont waist ur time or money on half a*s food

After my last review, decided to give the place another chance. To my surprise, they delivered. Crispy rangoons thats not hard, with general tsao that is sweet yet spicy. I did ask for extra spicy and it was made to my order.

Foods are very delicious though just a family own restaurant. Service is good and simple especially order to go. just make a call to order and take them in around 10 mins.....Highly recommend! Always back to enjoy their foods...

I order the combination plate General Tsos chicken and was very dissapointed. sauce look old and the pork fried rice had two pieces of pork and no flavor at all. the egg roll was the only thing that was good......

Always open, even late on occasion. Cooked hot and fresh every time making it my #1 choice for Chinese. The steamed tofu and veggies is a favorite. Many vegetarian options!
