My family and I have eaten here several times and never really had a issue. However in the span of a couple months Ive started ordering for delivery because my Co workers heard me rave about the food. I dont know if its the person taking the order or the kitchen but nothing we order comes to us right. The frys are hard and cold. The burgers have everything we dont want and nothing that we wanted in the first place. To my knowledge a bacon cheese burger has bacon and cheese. But no thats not what I get. I get 3 burgers with no bacon or cheese. And then when I call the women puts me on hold for 13 min then when I say the reason for my call she tells me I quote "theres nothing we can do since you already have the food"..then the phone goes silent and I realize she hung up. I called back and then she tells me "were busy maam we dont have time for this" and hangs up again. I cant believe it myself. But rest assure I wont bring my business back.

Love this place, the girls are fantastic and very attentive, always there with the coffee pot!! My brother, sister and I go here at least once a month sometimes more for breakfast and just to sit and visit with each other.. All the staff know us and are very pleasant while we just sit and take up a table after our meal.. they were closed for a couple weeks for remodeling and we had to go to the other restaurant in that plaza, NO comparison at all!! Food was awful, service was terrible, no refill on coffee, tables were way to close to each other (I felt like I was sitting with strangers in my lap) and the prices are way too high.. Never again!!

Ordered a small pizza $19 got the pizza and it was so greasy, it was supposed to be all meat, unfortunately there was hardly any meat on it. and I sat there for 5 minutes and the girl at the counter was not very friendly. She finally looked around in my pizza was ready the whole time I was there. I had to use the bathroom when I got there and the bathrooms were filthy. I called and let them know that I was very unhappy they had my phone number and should have called me back but they did not of course I definitely will let everybody know how bad this service , Pizza and filthy conditions there are there. Thanks for the call back guys

When I saw the decor and condition of the restaurant, I was suspicious. I thought maybe they have really good food. OMG!! It was absolutely terrible. The soup was like paste. The grilled bread on the sandwich had a slightly rancid oil taste. The pizza dough had no flavor. The sausage was very strange. It did not look or taste like the usual pizza sausage. I was totally taken in by the glowing reviews. They must all be from friends, family and staff of the restaurant. The only reason I stayed was because I had not eaten all day and was famished. I would NEVER eat there, again.

My husband and I have been ordering pizza from different restaurants around the Melbourne/West Melbourne area and this is by far the worst we have had. The crust was touted as "very thin" by the person taking our order but was undercooked and doughy. The toppings were "shaved" very thin and not evenly distributed. The best part of the pizza was the edge of the crust which isnt saying much. We each had a slice and threw the rest away. No reason for leftovers.

We ordered a large pizza, fried mushrooms and a pepperoni calzone. The calzone didnt have pepperoni, only mozzarella. I called to tell them and they said it wasnt rung up as that. After several "brief holds", she returns and says we will deliver another one but youll have to pay 69 cents for the pepperoni and well need the other calzone back. Maybe Sarno pizzeria should record their calls. Fast forward 1 hour and 4 mins...calzone still isnt here.

Hands down the best pizza in Melbourne! The Italian food is authentic, excellent service and friendly staff. This is a great place to bring the whole family. Good value for your money and the portions are big. I always have a good experience at Sarnos. This place should be at the top of your list whether its dining in, ordering take out or need your food delivered. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Good food, but sometimes a very long wait. About a 40 minute wait today, on quick to prepare foods (salad). Especially when you need to do something afterwards, dont come here on weekend day. Its not that packed but service is slow. After asking if the food was ready kindly, it still took about another 10 mins for them to bring it. And the waitress didnt even come by to inform us.

Called to order delivery, the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude, complained about my cell number having a different area code, ended up deciding to not order. Definitely wouldnt try again Based on other reviews it looks like it was probably the owner - one of those nasty southern ladies that have "hospitality" for people they know

Okay I will, because Im doing the Tile work in the restaurant and when it is done come on in and check it out and enjoy their alsome food, it will reopen on September 13. The workers are remodeling as well and they are doing a alsome job,and we all know that they have the best pizza in town, as well as their dinners, and lunch and breakfast.

Been eating here for 20 years. Its always nice to come in and visit with Rebekah with her southern hospitality and she always has a smile on her face. I give this place five stars for the awesome food and customer service from both Jacob and miss bekah. Recommend this place for anyone that is a pizza connoisseur

Im always hitting them up for take out dinner as its very close to my place of work. The thin pizza slices are HUGE, and the deep dish Sicilian slices are THICK. All the Italian dishes Ive had there are great, as are the subs, burgers and fries! Good food and good prices. No complaints

they use to be really good. but there going downhill. i ordered fries from them to go and for one they were burnt and two the bottom had melted styrofoam on my fries. then i had a waiter ask me why i didnt tip him. just rude. im pregnant i dont need to be eating styrofoam

I love Sarno Restaurant!! My husband and I go there two to three times a week. The prices are amazing they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pizza slices are huge!! We were happy to find such a good slice of pizza located to our home.

I would give this place a D for dreadful. Ordered calzones for delivery with extra sauce. The marinara is so watered down its not edible and both calzones were overdone. Received the food within a decent time frame, though, so thats something.
