When I got there Valet was leaned up against the wall like a kid with nothing to do. When I step into the restaurant the place stopped and starred at my girl and I like we were in the wrong place (Im african american and she is caucasion). The owner finally showed up and sat us. She was very pleasant when getting us wine and appetizer. Our meal took up to a hour and still no food out. Not one person stop to our table to give us a heads up in how long it was going to take until I stopped the waitress. She told us that it might take longer and that they had a private party. Well why didnt someone tell us, that wait beats the purpose of making reservations, and not even a manager stopped by our table when we chose to pay for drinks and leave. My name is Hawk Im a manager of Five Guys In Sandhills Im number one in customer service and loved by lots of customers. Last night my date and I drove back home in silence. Thats not cool. Nice place though

I went here for the first time this evening for my Birthday dinner. I have to say that I am impressed, from the second we pulled up, the Valet was there and taking the car, the staff greeted us on entry and the hostess seated us right away for our reserved table, (we were a bit early as well). The waiter we had was impeccable at his job, we all ordered different entries and a couple of appetizers, every last bite was a little bit of heaven. I had the Veal Marsala, husband had the Duck Confit, Son had the Pappardelle Bolognese, they were all so good, also had the Charcuterie Plate and a sausage special appetizers, The deserts were a very good ending to the meal. I am so glad I found this place. Thanks to all the staff for making a very great birthday dinner.

Meh... Ok-ish. Tried the NY strip steak au poivre and Im not sure if it was an "artistic interpretation" or if they dont know how to do au poivre. Not a peppercorn for miles, some small amount of some indistinguishable reduction on top and that was it. No au poivre sauce consisting of heavy cream and flamed cognac and not even a hint of pepper. Just a slab of underwhelmingly flavored beef. The best thing out of the remainder stuffed pepper, Caesar salad and tiramisu was definitely the salad. You could taste that the dressing was authentic.

You get your moneys worth! The $33 veal entree was enormous; I got a humongous rib and a generous portion of pasta to go with it. Ive also had grouper here, and it was perfectly cooked. The bread is fresh and delicious, you can tell that its homemade. The staff is very friendly and will come over to chat for a short bit. Our waiter was very attentive and definitely knew the menu inside and out! This is a great place for Italian food, and Ive been to Italy. We will be back :)

Great restaurant! The staff and food are both equally amazing. The new owners have kept the traditional favorites of this Columbia establishment and have added a breath of fresh air at the same time. The only thing I can say is that its even better than it was before. My personal favorites are the Charcuterie Plate, Lobster Caprese, and Pappardelle Bolognese, and Ive never been disappointed by one of their specials.

I am an event coordinator for my business office in Greenville, SC. I began planning a large holiday event with Ristorante Divino in October of 2016. The party was the beginning of December and couldnt have gone any better!! The manager was kind and worked with us from day 1. The staff that attended to the party were attentive, kind, and resourceful. I will absolutely be planning more events with this restaurant!

My girlfriend and I went in for our anniversary. They offered to go get flowers to have set at our table, gave us complimentary champagne, and had a chef come out and speak to us. They made us feel so welcomed and the food was incredible. This wasnt our first time going and it certainly will not be the last. Incredible dining experience.

This restaurant used to seem a lot fancier with great but stuffy service. Now it seems more approachable where you wont necessarily feel too bad if you arent dressed up, and it is still expensive. None the less, we enjoyed our meal. Food and service were good, and we didnt feel rushed. I would highly recommend the risotto.

To Rob or AKA..., I have known the owners of Ristorante Divino for years and they would do anything for their customers. If you had a legitimate problem, instead of name calling, you should have brought it to their attention. I know they would appreciate it!

A favorite for sure! Everything was incredible. Perfectly cooked steak. The flavors in the parpadelle bolognese were amazing. The caprese was fresh and flavorful - could have just used a little more basil. Great wine selection as well.

I had the risotto and I was disappointed with the overall taste. For the price they could have done better. However, my husband got the pork chops and they were awesome! Total bill with drinks, app, main course and tip= 1 Benjamin.

Took my family here to celebrate. The decor was beautiful, the food superb, and the wine suggestion we got from the manager was outstanding!! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

The new chef/owners are a breathe of fresh air at this Columbia institution. Had a great meal and great service and am looking forward to seeing seasonal, local food on the menu and specials.

Excellent atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. The food was out of this world. Braised short rib with polenta and brussel sprouts was delicious. Strongly suggest for special occasions.

Its one of the best in town since the new owners took over 1.5 years ago. Maybe Motor Supply is on the same level but its a must try. Put it on your eating bucket list!

"Great atmosphere, a tad bit on the pricy side, but well worth the money!" "The ladys dinner salad came with no dressing and the gentlemans food was cold."

Great service, excellent dinner with great choices. We had a group of 25+ people for this dinner. Place was small, but everyone had a good time.

It used to be my favorite restaurant in Columbia. Still not bad, probably a 3.5 on this scale, but the food and service noticeably has declined.

Generous and delicious portions. Sat at the bar and was served by Holly. She recommended the stuffed peppers for appetizer. Incredible!

Everyone loved the spaghetti but the gnocchi was less than optimal along with the charcuterie board which was lackluster
