There was about a two or three month stretch of time where I ordered the "sammy" and a pour-over coffee from BREW almost every morning of the week. I need to recommend it to all who have not experienced one. A sammy is a kolache bun - an utterly delicious pastry that is stuffed with a little sausage and cheese - sliced in half for insertion of an over-easy egg. As you might imagine, the over-easy egg will ooze over the bun upon slicing the sammy in half, providing ample yolk in which to soak the best breakfast in JAX. Highlights: -BEST quick breakfast in Jacksonville. -Excellent healthy food stop with deliciously creative options -BEST pour over coffee -Ideal chill late-night spot for winding down the night with one of their unique alcohol-caffeine concoctions

Like all the other reviewers: Lavender cold brew, awesome! Food is phenomenal! Good beer choices! Chill atmosphere! But....... The service was not stellar, we sat there kinda just waiting to be served some beer, they were understaffed so understandable but when another employee came on I was floored with the lack cleanliness!!!!! Not washing hands, wiping hands on pants, long hair clearly had not been washed and hanging out and in the drinks, for a previous health specialist who work at a coffee house I couldnt help but be horrified. But with all that being said I gave it four stars bcs I would go back, cleanliness is an easy fix and I am hopeful that they can remedy this.

I purchased a Living Social Deal and was really looking forward to trying Brew Five Points. We went on Sunday morning--there were 2 people working, three customers at the bar and one at a table, all who had been served. We tried to get someones attention as there were no menus visible and no indication about seating yourself, etc. We sat at a table and proceeded to look around for service or what to do as far as getting served. After five minutes of being ignored, we thanked them for the "great" service and walked out. I reported this to Living Social and got my money refunded. If you love going to a place where you can be ignored, then Brew is for you!

I walked in to order a glass of wine and was met with the nastiest attitudes from the two men working last night. I did not realize they were near closing time being it was a busy Friday night in the area. There were people sitting outside of Brew and someone inside ordering, so I figured, hey this seems like a nice spot. But I will NEVER go again. I felt like I pissed them off just by walking through the door. They were RUDE!!!!!!! It was a sucky experience. But it didnt ruin my life. Hoptingers was much better.

It depends why youre going. BREW has a similar business model to other local venues in its interest to serve both coffee and alcoholic beverages. But, in BREWs attempt to cater to the urban bar crowd of Five Points, it sacrifices much of the relaxed atmosphere youd expect from a coffee shop or local hangout. Depending on the time of day, it can be rather uncomfortable. So, although the prices are reasonable and the quality of the drinks is impressive, its not my first choice to grab drinks after work.

Brew is my default choice for good coffee. Its right on my way to work, so it makes it very convenient to stop in. Coffee isnt their only strong point. Beer, wine, beer/cocktails and a great selection of food and baked goods top it off. You can sit at the bar or at a table and they always have new artwork from local artist on display and to purchase. When Im there with my kiddos, they let me Chromecast a movie to one of the TVs for the littles to watch. Great place with cool people!

I love this place. Outstanding coffee. Delicious breakfast/brunch items such as artisan toasts, kolaches, waffles, or whatever chef Calli decides to bake. I like how they dont overload their sweets with sugar or artificial chemicals like some commercial places. Everything there is excellent, and served by the friendliest staff ever.

Brew is my favorite place to visit at five points. They have a really great selection of beers and on tap. They also have some of the best cold brew coffee in town. In all I think they are one of, if not the best mix of craft beer and coffee with a mellow cafe atmosphere that you can find in jacksonville

My favorite place to hangout and have a drink in 5 points. They have 4 rotating taps and a bunch of cans and bottles to offer. They also have a coffee bar and make beer cocktails with coffee. The snacks are very delicious as well. Cant go wrong at this place
