Im conflicted on Gimme Java. Sometimes the experience is great. Sometimes the service is very slow. Today, I went to conduct an interview for a student and Gimme Java wasnt open. At 10:30 AM, 1 hour after they are scheduled to open, no one was in the shop. Ive read other complaints about unpredictable hours and now Ive seen it, too. I like supporting small, local businesses, but its very unprofessional for a business to arbitrarily set their hours while advertising a set schedule. Ill give them one more shot, but after that Im taking my business to a place I can count on.

Worst coffee shop in all of Cleveland. I live in the neighborhood and have been working from home. I realized today it would be a better investment to just buy a Kurig or coffee making because this shop is never open when coffee drinkers drink. They open at about 9 or 10 am or whenever the hell they fell like it. I walk there several times after the scheduled open hours only to find th establishment not open. For 3 days straight. I will never visit again. Dont waste your time.

My wife Geri and I were first time customers there and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We met the owner and his sister. They were very gracious and extremely accommodating. Our coffees were hot and delicious. We also ordered apricot and raspberry pastries that really complemented our coffees. First rate all the way around. Really friendly service. We even engaged other customers. It was like being home with friends. Well be back ... And soon!!

The proprietor, Albert and his wife were both extremely friendly and accommodating. I met another person here, and the warm atmosphere and friendly service were welcome. The drinks are slightly pricey, but refills are on the house! The coffee is almost too hot and quite strong, but is delicious when warm or cooled off. I highly recommend this place!

Gimme Java has no place in this community. The service is terrible. And thats sad considering I was waited on by the rude owner. What really pissed me off was the fact that barriers were put up on the outside to prevent another car from hitting the cafe. Damn.The place is dirty and the owner is a tool.

OK, I realize this is a strong statement, but I have yet to have a cup of coffee this good anywhere before. Spoke to the owner about how good the coffee is and he explained how he has spent years and gone through hundreds of blends to get it this good. Im hooked.

I was visiting from England and I loved this place. It was always quiet and calm. The staff were friendly and I always enjoyed my hot drinks. I treated myself to a chocolate (diet out the window) and it was amazing! I would highly recommend here

The sandwich was excellent...I had a sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant...it had pesto on it, and that made the difference. The owner was very nice, and he made you want to come back, I love the atmosphere. I will be back.

This is the best coffee house in the area. The owners are amazing and extremely friendly. They have a large variety of delicious pastries, wraps, salads and breaksfast sandwiches. The coffee is to die for!
