Swipe at Olive Garden parking on 07/14/15 Be careful when leaving your vehicle at Olive Garden parking lot. Our group of 14 people had broken into two cars and stole about $ 8,000 between money and shopping , plus three passports. The Olive Garden has not provided any assistance to our group. Simply closed the door and left us outside . Police also did not give us assistance. They said they had other more important events than ours. We 22h to 1 am without any help . We can only do the police report 9am the day 15/07/15 . So I do not recommend this restaurant any way . total disregard ! Open your eye on this place !!! Desrespeito total! Abram o olho neste lugar!!!

It seems like the service gets worse and worse. My husband and I decided after several months to give Olive Garden another chance. Well it was a bad idea. The service was horrible. We waited at the front for someone to seat us and no one came so we had to hunt down someone just to sit. Then we waited for a server... finally she came. I asked her to take our order because who knew when she was going to come back. After not to long of a wait she came back with drinks and then salad and bread sticks. Then we were completely ignored after that. Someone else brought us our food. We needed more bread and drink refills but she didnt come back. Finally we saw her and flagged her down. Then she said we had to wait. Okay... 5 minutes pass nothing.... 10 minutes pass nothing.... we are now done eating.... 15 minutes.... 20 minutes.... now all I want is a box and to leave.... nothing. Had to flag her down to get a box and tell her we felt ignored. Her response well you can see I am very busy. Um... we are customers too! She had 4 tables and 3 of them were couples not getting service. The people behind us we also upset because they were ready to go and the server was no where to be found. THIS really needs to be addressed by corporate because no one seems to care. Oh and dont ask for a manager because they arent around to talk or they are to busy to help a customer.

Ordered take home food. Went in to pick up. No one at pick up desk. Walked into bar and bartender tried to help by calling for my pick up. Waited 15 more mins. Went back to bar and had bartender try again. After another 5 minutes, man came out carrying food. He placed food on counter next to another order that had been sitting there the whole time. The order sitting there all that time was mine. I was a bit ticked off by now and had a conversation with the guy who brought out the other order about the food going to be cold. He called a manager who apologized and was going to discount it for me. He changed his mind and comped the whole amount. They did offer to remake it but by this time, I was in no mood to wait longer, so I took my "warm" food home. Had to reheat, but probably would have had to anyway. So, all in all the manager did a good job defusing the situation. Comping was a nice gesture. I do not recommend take home and will not do it again, although I may come back to order in.

Our server could have been better. She never brought us breadsticks even though she mentioned twice that shed bring some as soon as they were ready. She didnt have a problem bringing them to her other table though. She mentioned she made our drinks as she brought them to us and used salt instead of sugar around the rim of our drinks which ultimately made them undrinkable. I wouldnt complain if this was standard but Ive never had salt around the rim of my margaritas at OG and Ive never had to ask for sugar either. Our waitress seemed to forget about our table as our water glasses were never refilled and I had to give mine to a friend who had been out of water since before the food came. Overall a negative experience made worse by the fact that it was a friends birthday dinner and we all wanted to have a good time and celebrate at her favorite restaurant.

Ive been going to Olive Garden for years and this was the worst experience Ive had. The hostess didnt speak to us at all when we entered and only gave one set of silverware. We sat at our table for 10 minutes without a waitress taking our drink order. Waters took another 10 minutes and after showing ID for a drink we wanted the Manager came over and told us our ID looked fake (out of state). Well, whatever it happens, right? Food comes out cold, drink has zero alcohol, waitress literally disappeared, she brought the bill out and then POOF! I bought the buy one, take one and never saw the other half of my meal. On our way out we tried to get the hostess to help us find our waitress but she was busy, talking to her coworkers. I wont go back to this restaurant. There are far too many restaurants in Fort Lauderdale better than this.

The food and drinks are good, but the service not so. I went there for my sons first birthday, my waiter was a young man by the name of Jimmy D he was the BEST and because of him my day was a bit satisfying. He was extremely professional he knows the menu very well and gave us a lot of help for suggestions from appetizers all the way through dessert.. He wanted to sing Happy Birthday to my son with the rest of the crew but the hostess said no because he was a little boy, thats why Im not giving them five star it doesnt matter what age if a person is there to spend money and its their birthday just sing the dam song!!! Jimmy D, your the best, but wont be coming back anytime soon....

On Friday 12/23 went to have dinner. Was seated immediately but after 12 to 15 minutes with several servers passing by we were not even acknowledged. Kinsi noticed and was told by the 4 hostesses conversing at the front that we were seated in an area not covered by service. He came to our table apologized and took care of us even though this was not his station. The manager herself brought our meals explaining she wanted to ensure our meals were served promptly. No other apology offered and please note she was one of those conversing at the desk. I have been going to this OG location for over 20 years. Shame on you OG. Improve your server training.

We were in town due to a cruise, the service we received was horrible, and Olive Garden is usually a go to place. Once we were seated it took a little over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and it wasnt crowded. This acknowledgement only came once we asked for someone to serve us. Our glasses were dirty. The culinary manager came out to ask how our food was and said he would come top off our drinks it never happened. Not to mention we had 3 different servers. The lady who became our main server appeared to be working multiple areas while others were standing around. This was a really bad experience as tourist.
