Where do I begin. I never, never complain since I know how difficult this business is. But so much was wrong yesterday I had to say something. Not to complain but maybe to help fix it. I was looking forward to a relaxing Mothers Day Brunch with my wife and daughter. Walk up to the entrance and greeted by the hostess back because of the way the desk is positioned and she is on the phone. She turns around to see us. A smile would have been nice with a pleasant "Happy Mothers Day!" A little first impression management goes a long way. We get seated and she brings Perrier. A lemon wheel would have been nice but that is insignificant. And then we wait. And we wait. I am feeling that the staff doesnt think my time is valuable. Finally a server comes by after about 5-7 minutes. The same server who walked by our table a half dozen times prior and couldnt at least say "Hello. Ill be right with you." He finally describes the Bottomless Sangria/Mimosa concept. My daughter is never asked if she wants something to drink. She is 12. We order the Sangria. But no glasses ever come to the table. But I dont understand the whole concept of bringing empty glasses to the table anyway. So like a compliant customer I get up and get my own drinks.... like at Golden Corral. Why on earth would a guest have to get up and get their own drinks in a full service restaurant? I dont understand this whole concept. It is just so counter-intuitive. But back to my table I go with my sangrias. It is absolutely undrinkable. Just Google a recipe! In this business 35 years so I have an idea what it should taste like. Back to the bar I go to exchange them for peach mimosas. Our shared appetizer comes out. No sharing plates. The server comes by and apologizes for the terrible sangria and for forgetting to bring glasses. Offers to refill my peach mimosa. Comes back with a regular mimosa. Not wanting to get up again I just accept it. Entrees come out. The food product is superb. Server comes back and at least he apologizes for the lapses in service. He asks to refill my mimosa and realizes he gave me an orange juice mimosa instead of a peach mimosa. He is extremely pleasant and apologetic. But untrained. He sends out two appetizers as a gesture of good will. At least he is trying. But at this point we are full and out of patience and just want to go home. I saw a manager walking around who never engaged one customer. In a small restaurant that is unforgiveable. With a tip of 15% ( I normally leave at least 20%) the bill is $100 and I feel like I got a punched in the gut after seeing I got charged extra for the mimosa after the sangrias were sent back. Again, the food product is terrific. But the rest of this nice place has no sensibility, makes no sense and has no touch points. If I return I will just sit at the bar and order a beer.

Absolutely underwhelming service and food. The atmosphere is great and its nice that Abacoa has something a little more upscale, but my entire table of eight was disappointed. We had a pregnant person trying to dine with us and asking about the cheese on the charcuterie board to see what she could eat and the server simply replied, "Yes, isnt the cheese just so great?" Thats not what she was asking or why she was asking it. The entree portion sizes are ridiculously small. The seared bronzini said it was served with "herbs" and coconut rice and ONE LEAF came out on the plate as garnish-- there was maybe four spoonfuls of rice. Thank God we ordered apps. Back to the charcuterie board, you would think for $19, the platter would have meats and cheeses on it which is normal--however, if you want cheese, youll have to fork over an additional $16. I wont be recommending this place to anyone.

Seated at 7:30. Asked waiter about specials but he did not know. Ordered a bottle of wine and placed dinner order for 2 burgers and Sea Bass, uneven pour but OK never the less. Next visit from waiter was 1/2 hour later when he offered bread. Never brought the bread. After 10 more minutes I stopped him and asked about our order and the bread, no response. Asked for the manager who did come over and said he was sorry and he would check on the order and bread. He did not return until I flagged him down 15 minutes later but he did not know anything about our order. When I pushed him for an answer he said it could take a while. We left the restaurant feeling ignored and disappointed. We wont be back.

Amazing ! Went to the soft opening last night and enjoyed so many innovative dishes. Apps like: avocado fries, spring roll, ahi tuna, watermelon salad. For my entree, the branzino was delish ! It was served on a bed of coconut rice and a lemongrass sauce. Best sauce Ive ever had Atmosphere is lively, relaxed and fun ! Great spot for a date night, girls night out or just a nice family spot Love the bar with super comfortable high back leather barstools! For a date night, planning to dine at the bar for sure. Aaron, thank you to you and your wife for your hospitality. See you again soon !!

Food Is Outstanding!!! Everything Is Made Fresh In House, Right Down To The Croutons. One Of The Best Selections Of Wines By The Glass & Bottle In The Area! Great Service, Friendly Atmosphere, Beautiful Decor, Outdoor Seating Available, Live Music On Certain Nights. I Recommend Making A Reservation... As the word has spread its becoming quite a go to place. Kudos to the Owner & his General Manager (Remus) for an outstanding experience in dining out. Theyve set the bar high for others to try to emulate. Well Done!!!!

What a wonderful dining experience! Food was outstanding and almost as good as the service! Braxton made wonderful recommendations and was definitely in tune with our taste. The mixologist came and checked on our drink personally (really recommend the Basel / Saki drink - refreshing and not too sweet). Wonderful evening and made far better due to the service - best weve had in a long time.

We went for Easter Brunch and while the food was good, I wasnt impressed. The service is not the best for the high prices. The server didnt even ask us if we wanted drinks. She basically said there is the buffet. We were thinking of mimosas but after two trips to the very small buffet and not much check in from the server, I finally gave up and settled for walking to bar for coffee.

Went for dinner for 2 and was told they had "run out of menus" so we had to share one. (it was a Thursday night and not crowded) "Heirloom tomatoes and Mozzarella" appetizer was cherry tomatoes and mozzarella balls in a jar. It is VERY loud inside even though it was not exceptionally busy. Service was acceptable and "Veal Cheeks" entree was good.

Kaitlyn was our waitress, she was very attentive and nice. She explained the menu very well and offered the wine. The appetizer was really good, steak on top of a fried mashed potato. I ordered the bolognese and I didnt like it, Remus came to our table and offered to bring another dish for me. They both were very kind, I recommend this place!
