Ive been to Benihana as well as this particular location several times. Im sad to say that my boyfriend and I were very very disappointed with the way last night turned out. We sat at the bar to enjoy some happy hour drinks and a few small plates from the menu. Our drinks came out fine, but it felt like the bartender forgot about our food, its understandable because there was only 2 bartenders serving the whole restaurant. When we brought it to the bartenders attention we had been waiting for a while for food she went to go check, almost everything came out but our sushi. Things picked up again at the bar, our sushi never came! My boyfriend told the bartender we wanted our roll and didnt think he should have to pay since by this point we were ready to leave because we finished our drinks and it had been over an hour for our food to come out. Long story short, the bartender got this "manager" named "justin" involved, he never gave us his name, the bartender did and seemed scared to say it?? Anyway, Justin proceeds to ask if we still want the food cause his server took it to another table and we would have to wait for them to make it again and pay for it!! I said Im not paying for something we waited over an hour for and it was your employees mistake we didnt get it in the first place. He proceeds to argue with my bf, at this point I just wanted to leave so I said forget the sushi, just give me the bill. Justin took $4 off our bill, lol! Place is a joke, terrible customer service and incompetent servers/management.

Last night (5/31/16) service was the worst. We were a party of 9, 2 Birthdays to celebrate......TOTAL DISASTER. The waitress poured the Apple Sake and in one of the glasses there was a tiny black object (possibly a tiny fruit fly) in it, she went to the bar and brought another glass of Apple Sake with the same object..... The Chef was the worst ever, he brought no rice with him as they ran out and had to make more. The Shrimp appetizer was overcooked, tough as shoe leather, the portions were tiny. One of our guests had ordered the Colossal Shrimp Entree and the Chef only gave her 4 that werent even 3/4" long, they definitely werent colossal. He served her Shrimp before he prepared any of the other eight (8) entrees. My son who was one of the Birthday celebrants ordered the Deluxe Treat, the Chef didnt even have the Lobster Tail to cook. I ordered the Spicy Hibachi Chicken, disgustingly over seasoned. I love spice but that was the worst. The Chef was as sloppy as can be, rice flying everywhere, when he finally got it to prepare for us. My son never received his $30 Chefs Table coupon, I asked the waitress to see if the Manager would honor the email my son showed her and she refused to ask him. His friend who also celebrated his Birthday should have gotten his coupon and didnt either. We spent a lot of $$$ last night and it was the BIGGEST disappointment ever. Disappointed Guests

Weve been coming to Beni hanas for years and this was our first bad experience. The cook was great. Very friendly and fun, but the service was absolutely horrible. We came in early for our 8:15 reservation and had 20 minutes to wait so we went to the bar. We heard happy hour was over at 8pm so we tried getring drinks before then. The bartender ignored everybody there and only made drinks for the servers for the entire 20 minutes. A server ended up twlling us happy hour ends at 7pm now, but the bar was still open so he could have taken care of us. We ended up getting called to our table so we ordered drinks there and they were awful. They tasted like pure juice and were definitely not worth the $10 a drink. The server then took our orders and a little while later the chef showed up. They forgot to serve us our salads and when they finally came out, they forgot to put dressing on them. Also the server disappeared for our whole dinner and never brought anybody refills on any of their drinks. When she came back, everyone complained to her and she just says ok and walks away. Also the food quality does not taste the same as it used to. The pricing just does not meet the quality anymore. Im not sure if Ill be back.

Me and my boyfriend usually have a nice time when we visit Benihana but lately this restaurant has gone downhill! Our last (and final) visit to the restaurant the bathrooms were disgusting! We first entered and I went to use the restroom. The floors were sticky there was no toilet paper dirty toilets and paper towels all over the floors, I couldnt find one clean stall so once I exited I brought it to the hostesss attention she claimed she would have someone go and clean up. I told my boyfriend about it and he said the mens room was the same. I entered again right when we were to leave and all they did was put a half used toilet paper roll in the stalls (didnt even bother putting it on the holder) and it was still exactly the same! How nasty!!!. A bathroom at a restaurant says alot, if the bathroom is like this imagine the kitchen? Never had I seen a so-called five star restaurant in such conditions. The food was mediocer and I couldnt even eat it after seeing the bathroom. The service was ok the hostess was standing around talking to her co-workers once she was done she did help us I guess... Needless to say we sure WONT ever be going back to this location again!

we have been to several Benihanas all over the country and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had, it was a Tuesday evening, no events going on in the area and school was in session so this should not be a busy time. When we entered we saw the bar was full and many others were standing around, when we asked how long the wait was they said they were not sure ???? we pressed for a better answer and were told 30-45 minutes, we found 2 seats at the bar and could see into the restaurant, we saw several empty grills/tables, we sat for over an hour and still no activity at these empty tables, we also saw the same people sitting at a table and in this same hour they still has no entrees on the grill, after waiting for 80 minutes and seeing little in the way of people being seated we realized this place was not busy because they were good, it was because they had a staffing and management problem, so we left and went to Arubas and had a GREAT meal. Do not waste your vacation time on this place, it is not the Benihana you know or love

Benihanas is an high end Chinese/ Japanese Mediocre Eatery the Cooks can cook your food in front of you on an grille or you can be seated at one of the booths or table for regular services you have to build your Chinese rice into an entree that you would like out of vegetables.. eggs or meats of choice. while the cook does tricks for the table that really seats 6 but they will squeeze people in to make 8 sometimes and people you dont know sits with you as well. They do serve drinks alcohol.. wine.. beer. Its very expensive i paid $63 just for me on their delight meal with vegetables(al grate) extra rice and one ocean blue drink and a glass of water. The cook serves you your food as cooked rice.. vegetables.. meats you can eat as served or wait for the entire meal ..To me once your food is done and no more tricks rather you have eaten while been served or waited to receive full meal you received the bill with togo plates so you can move on .. Valet Parking only..for the one on Commercial Blvd and Federal Highway
