DONT GO............let me tell you a story. We were seated upstairs in the little dining space to the left where there are two tables for 2 and our table for 4. To the right is another dining room thats one step down. Our server was fine. Our appetizers were fine. Shortly after our entrees were served, a woman left the other dining room, tripped on the step and fell like a tree just behind me. She must have hit her head on the banister of the staircase on the way down and did a face plant on the floor knocking herself out. Her family/friends were all over her immediately and we moved our seats to get out of their way. We were pinned in place for a half hour as this played out. The Fire Rescue Squad was there in a few minutes. Five of them plus another 3 family/friends made it impossible for us to leave the room as we would have preferred to. One of the other women swooned into the originally fallen womans lap so the Rescue people had two patients to handle. When everyone finally got on the way to the hospital, our waiter asked if we wanted the check. I laughed and said "youve got to be kidding". None of us had eaten our entrees. . Up came Daniel........a snotty young man.......who said something like "we served you dinner and the fact that the Fire Rescue Squad got in your way doesnt mean that we have to take a loss on the dinner we served you". I couldnt believe it. Not only didnt he say "can I get you a brandy, it must have been terrible for you....and, of course, theres no charge for dinner", he was aggressive and defensive at the same time. So...........we paid our bill and will never come back.

We were picking a friend up at the PBI airport and wanted some lunch. Not familiar with the area we tuned off and found this gem. WOW, first impression was lovely outdoor eating space even though near parking lot surrounded by trees and bushes so it felt private. Then inside to find a lovely space with cloth table linens and napkins and a bright beautifully decorated space. We ordered drinks and then our berad came out, warm, good sign. The bread was delish. I ordered the mushroom strudel which was to die for and also the crab cake app, which was also spectacular. I wanted desert because just looking at it made be drool. Friends had the lobster bisque and said it was the best theyd had since being in Maine. Another friend had the shrimp salad with raspberry vinegarette and thought it was excellent. Next time I am in the vicinity I will be back, YUM!! Only thing I could say was the service was a bit slow but we had lots to talk about so it was OK by us. Prices for lunch were a bit high but not ridiculous for the ambiance and the delicious food. Worth it!

I recently had lunch here. It was a soup, sandwich and salad plate. The soup was alleged to have been "black bean" soup. Judging by the total lack of any black beans, it would best be described as "Extract of Black Bean Soup". It came quite cool from the kitchen and had to be returned for re-heating! Then came the chicken salad sandwich: a mish-mash of "stuff" supposedly comprising chicken salad. It was mushy, tasteless, and a total disappointment. So now were 2 out of three zeroes! The third component was a small salad served at one end of the platter. It was tasty!! Hooray. But once I poured the balsamic vinaigrette dressing over the salad, it ran down the plate to meet up with the sandwich. So in addition to a tasteless chicken salad sandwich, I now had to deal with a soggy, tasteless, chicken salad sandwich. Not a happy luncheon experience. All in all my Arnold Palmer drink was tasty but the rest was a total loss.

We went here for Mothers Day and it was horrible. We waited 10 minutes before someone finally came over and told us our waiter was too busy so he would take our drink order. Then our appetizer came out 30 minutes after we ordered it and it was burnt...they forgot it in the oven! So they re-made it. Then our dinner took FOREVER to come out after that. We were there for 2 hours just waiting. The waiter and the manager wouldnt come over to check on us, they ignored us. People who sat after us had already been done eating by the time we finally got our food!!! When we asked what happened the manager basically tried to blame it on us, saying we were enjoying our mimosas and he put the food in later? What does that even mean?! Ive worked at restaurants and that is not how you do things. Eventually they comped our meal which wasnt what we were looking for. We left a very generous tip, not sure why, but wont come here again.

Upon recommendation we had our anniversary dinner at Cafe Chardonnay. Everything weve heard and read was spot on and did not disappoint. They had decorated our table upstairs tastefully for our anniversary . The food was exceptional and service was outstanding. I had the oysters Rockefeller and cioppino. Both were absolutely outstanding. My wife ordered her appetizer from the menu, pan seared scallops w/prosciutto and truffle cauliflower puree. She ordered from the specials menu for her entree, snapper with lobster risotto. Should be a standard menu item, superb. She is also a key lime pie snob and found theirs to be outstanding. My apple pie ala mode was plenty for two. Atmosphere is classy and tasteful. We cannot recommend Cafe Chardonnay enough for special occasions or just because its Wednesday. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Very noisy; tables crowded too closely together; hard to have a good conversation without almost shouting; bumped into neighbors to use restroom. Hostess did not fully convey called in special menu specifics to waitress, which created confusion and items in the delivered meal that were not ordered and were unwanted, causing late deliveries of what was ordered in advance. However, clean, decent atmosphere, well decorated facilities, pleasant but over-worked wait staff and great variety of over-priced wines. Still, I wouldnt rate it worth the very high prices we paid. Any "hole in the wall" in a street market building with a dry cleaners and a yogurt desert business next to it can dress itself up like it is a high class French restaurant. Its much tougher than Cafe Chardonnay is evidently willing to do to make it authentic, however.

I am always impressed with Cafe Chardonnay. Frank Eucalitto and his family are the best restaurateurs in the area. My wife and I dined this week and were incredibly impressed in all aspects. The specials were perfect but the presentation blew our mind. Our waiter (Jesse) treated us as if he was expecting to see us and had planned a great evening in advance. He did not miss a beat. My wine was never empty, he was on time with each course, had great recommendations and made us feel like the most distinguished guests in the restaurant. Cafe Chardonnay is always a worthy splurge, sparing no expense in bringing the best quality with local, sustainable food, fight to train the best staff around and Brians wine program is unmatched. As always; thanks for the greatest night ever, again!

Atmosphere - 4 stars Food - 1.5 stars Service - 3 stars Value/Price- 1.5 star The food quality was disappointing. The rack of lamb and shrimp entrees, for example, were bland. Expected much better. I would have been better off at Outback around the strip mall. The atmosphere was good. Lovely bar and the place had energy. Our waiter was courteous but a bit distracted. Water glasses were empty and we had to request refills several times. Not a big deal but when you are spending over $900, you expect a bit more. Over all not worth it.At this price point, there are better restaurants to choose from. Will not be returning.
