I go to Buca for work events and with friends quite often the service is always friendly, from the waiters anyways and even though they have a nice and large bar area I did not feel it was welcoming the bartender did not care to introduce himself, was very cold even though me and my girlfriend were the only ones there. Hostess always sits children in that area which to me is a big no no the last thing I want while enjoying my expensive cocktail (lets be honest drinks are not cheap here) is a crying or winy child behind me and yes I understand its a family restaurant but its also very large there are plenty of places to sit families they can at least keep the bar area sans children, but thats really my only complain the hostess needs to separate groups correctly keeping the family with small annoying children who cant behave in restaurants all in one side of the restaurant and quiet couples, girlfriends and single people who want to enjoy their meals without hysterical cries on the other besides that the food is great, Gnocchi is amazing, veal limone and chicken parm with pesto sauce super yumm best tiramisu and the Apple Gorgonzola salap is to die for the price is a little high but the portions are huge so totally worth it that is if you eat regular size portions not football player portions :P

I used to be a very frequent customer at Buca Di Beppos years ago when it was opened in Miami Lakes, I loved it, I recently moved to Broward and after years and years of missing the great food and atmosphere I decided to give this one in Davie a visit, I must say I was very disappointed, I walk in on a Sunday night at 08:30 p.m. practically no one in the waiting area and no one in the section to the left when you walk in, and a girl by the name of Paula said it was a 35 minute wait, I had a hard time understanding why in the hell a 35 min wait when your restaurant is practically a ghost town, so I went to the bathroom to take a look around to see if it was in fact busy and it was not, Paula then leaves the front and a busser becomes helpful to assist me and he says hell get me a table in 10 minutes tops, At this point I ask to speak to the manager because it is clear that no one has a clue on what they are doing, the manager then explains that there is s large party and he will seat me asap, I still think that it was a lame ass excuse however I was seated after a 20 minute, just because of this experience I wont be going back. Goodbye forever Buca de Beppo Ill miss you "the one in Miami Lakes" that is.

I havent been to this place in a long time. The last time was for a birthday party, and this time it was the same reason. I would not ever choose to come here otherwise. We had a party of about 10, and the service was excellent. The food was good for the most part, but the chicken carbonara was bland, and the chicken marsala was way too sweet. Before going inside, I checked the restaurant inspection report, and honestly didnt want to after reading it. I only did because we were there for a family event. Had I been here by choice, I would have turned around and left immediately. Walking in, you immediately smell the dirty carpet. The walls are worn, and even the ceiling is dirty. The mens room smells like urine, and the floor was sticky. The faucets were loose and wiggly on both sinks. This place seems like its been here for 30+ years. Im not sure how long it actually has been. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I highly recommend that you review the inspection report from the state of Florida before choosing to dine here.

So my husband makes reservations for Saturday 4/1 at 730pm for the kitchen table and when we arrivedo we are told the employee who took the reservations did not block out the kitchen table for us and that there was a party there now eating but they were on dessert if we wanted to wait. So we said yes. Then the manager came out and apologized and said he would fix it but that the party at the kitchen table was just eating salad and not dessert that it would be 45 minutes or longer. He offered a booth at the restaurant dinning room instead and we were told the table was ready. We agreed as we were already aggravated and walked back with the hostess when we got to the booth it was taken and had to walk back outside to wait for a table. Needless to say we left to find somewhere else to eat. What a disappointment we really loved going to the one in Miami Lakes when it was there and loved the food. This one was horrible. Never going back.

Maybe we ordered the wrong things... first we ordered sangria...I would have been happy with just a cup of grapes juice. The sangría tasted like watered down cranberry juice with absolutely no hint of wine. Our dish did not meet expectation as as the flavor. I ordered MacNcheese for my son... there was no cheese in it.literally.. it came out looking like just boil pasta..he did not eat it. It is a good intimate setting to enjoy a meal with family and friends... i like how they set up indifferent rooms...however you cant really enjoy a meal that dont taste good... the place looks Italian but I dont think the chef is Italian. We spent over $60 for 2people, (my son is 18months) and none of us enjoyed any of the food. I will give them one more try... maybe try a bakedzitti or lasagna...that may taste much better. well see

We waited over an hour for a table even tho we made a reservation in advance. So the two babies in our party got to sit and breathe the smoke created by the people chain smoking outside the entrance. Once we got inside, the staff were hurrying us despite the fact that it was their fault we were there late. Also the server forgot some of the appetizers and messed up numerous times. It was a birthday celebration so we were really looking for a wonderful experience. Then we were told that we couldnt split the bills up even tho we were a big party. Overall horrible experience. The one in Coral Springs is phenomenal, so must be this location. Would have given no stars but the food was amazing in spite of the horrible experience. In short, love this restaurant but go to another location.

Went today after church, we were all starving. What an overall disappointment!! The service was EXTREMELY slow and the food was awful. I was surprised to see how good the ratings were!! The pasta was cold, uncooked and tasteless.. .and the small bowl was $8.00. The chicken Parmesean consisted of chunks of fat and a lot of chewy pieces in a bland marinara type sauce. 3 small-medium pieces.... $22. Definitely overpriced for what they give you. The restaurant smells like dirty carpet when you walk thru the bar to get into the maze of rooms. The area we sat at looked like it hadnt been dusted in a while. The ceilings are dirty & stained. Bathrooms arent much better. I went because I had a Groupon....NEVER again.
