I went here with my boyfriend for my birthday recently and I loved it. I am a research freak so before I plan to invest in a restaurant I like to do my research and see how the reviews sound. I am a very critical person when it comes to judging food and I must admit that sushi ko is indeed a hidden treasure I never knew existed until I went online looking for some good sushi on my bday. The service was decent and the rolls are memorable and creative must try the screaming orgasm roll, and 69 roll I also enjoyed the kiko roll. The place itself is comfortable and gives the feeling of a restaurant one can count on going to when craving some sushi. I was married to another japanese restaurant but when I met sushiko I decided to get a divorce lol. I really liek this place and have been going there a couple times a month ever since. hope this helps

In the past year or so, Sushi Ko has really been slipping. The wait staff is usually slacking off ( forgetting to bring an extra set of chopsticks, napkins, or saucers) and the quality of the food does not mach the price. But my last visit was the straw that broke the camels back. I ordered a Tuna Tataki which at first glance looked like Beef Tataki. It looked bloody and everything! Tuna tataki is supposed to look like a flower-shaped display of glimmering, satiney, pink-red slices of awesomness soaking in ponzu sauce. The waitress insisted that the unfortunate animal which was on my plate was tuna. I was encouraged to try it and hesitatingly, I did. Whatever it was, it wasnt tuna. Left home with a slight tummy ache. Not taking my chances again.

Very disappointing. After reading the reviews and pictures online, it was obvious that the pictures were generic. No way that Sushi Kos actual sushi looked that pretty. The sushi was warm and bland. The rollI I had is supposed to be crunchy; it was not. The shrimp was soft and loose. It did not seem very fresh. I would probably give it another try, but MAN was it expensive for the quality. The beef on our Bento Box was tough but the chicken was very good. I did love the rice when we finally got it. We were almost done eating when we remembered we had not gotten any; it was hot and pasty just I like it. Were from Houston, Texas in town for Agee days so well try other places first before we return.

After my favorite Sushi restaurant temporarily closed for relocation, my wife and I were desperate to find another restaurant that can satisfy our constant Sushi cravings. Out of all the places we tried, this is the absolute worst. I read reviews saying it was great and the best sushi Miami, but I guarantee you that this is simply not true. The sushi is small in size and is sub-par to many other sushi spots in the Miami-Dade County area. I also thought the sushi was too expensive for its size and quality. The only thing I really liked about this place was the atmosphere.

I am a delivery courier for Postmates. I spent a long time waiting as the few waitresses that were there were busier than ever with customers for more than 20 minutes. I was waiting to pick up for my customer only for the Asian waitress to forget to include the main entree with the side. As a direct result I had an extremely unsatisfied customer along with a bad rating and no tip. Make sure that you check youtlr food before you leave as these people may have charged you for something they didnt include.

One of my favorite sushi places in all of South Florida. They get fresh fish on Thursdays, so I highly recommend you sit at the sushi bar and let Remon the chef make you all sorts of deliciousness. I normally go in with a friend, tell him our budget and let him have creative freedom. Very fun and tasty if you like to experiment. The rest of the staff is very friendly and they also have other traditional Japanese dishes.

Ive been eating sushi here for 20 years. Its not only the best sushi in Westchester, but I would put them up against the best in the city. Always good, always fresh. On special occasions, and when youre really hungry, sit by the sushi bar and ask for the chefs special. Theyll bring you random sushi that isnt on the menu and that you probably never had. Add to that a 16oz Sapporro beer, and you have a party.

I have been going to SushiKo for about 20 years -- and in the last 10 years, Ive been going every week with my husband! We absolutely love the restaurant, the ambiance, the staff, the FOOD! SushiKo is like family to us... I recommend the "chefs special" each time - We get the freshest fish ALWAYS. I have been to many many other sushi restaurants and HANDS down... this is my favorite!!

Best sushi in Miami! Been coming here for over 10yrs. Feels like family, everyone is so wonderful and welcoming. Consistently good food/service. Same owner. Great lunch specials. My kids request to eat here on every birthday or special occasion, I think that speaks for itself. Try it. Youll love it.

Have been coming to this restaurant for at least 20 plus years and I must say that every time I come the experience gets better and better. I didnt know it can be possible. From the appetizers to the the sushi rolls! Needless to say that we are and will continue coming back! Arigato Yuki-sama!!!

I love sushi and this place was really good. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars was because one of my rolls was just not that good. Otherwise this place gets a 5 star. The staff were super friendly and the price of the food was great. I definitely will eat her again.

My husband and I love this place. Everything weve had here is delicious. We especially love the Japanese curry with Katsu. We live in Broward now, but every time we go down to Miami, we make this restaurant part of our trip.

Theres a Japanese menu in 100% Japanese so if you dont see a traditional Japanese dish on the English menu, they may still be able to make it. Would go again for sushi or traditional dishes. Check various menus on website.

I have been to this restaurant before, but it seems the standard has been lowered because the service is bad, the food is too expensive for the quality. Experience is not enjoyable, mediocre at best

Been going here for two years and and cant get enough. I am a sushi lover and this little hole in the wall can satisfy and at great prices. Services is good especially if you sit at the bar.
