Not sure why people like this place. My wife likes the bologna sandwich. Ive tried many menu items, still nothing thats great, not even very good. Pasta is wet, with water at the bottom of the plate, hamburgers are from Frozen parties, French fries tasteless, not very crispy and yet brownish. Steak sandwich meat is some sort of pressed meat, like Buddig or possibly mighty dog dinner... Last one I had was warty looking and somewhat fishy smelling. I once asked for extra mayonnaise and it had either"gone off" or was actually some sort of sandwich dressing, not Mayo. The one redeeming quality is they DO have home made baklava, however instead of using real honey, its some sort of almost clear sweet liquid like a heavy sugar syrup, maybe with a bit of honey flavoring or even real honey added for a bit of flavor. Get it to go, remove the baklava from the surger syrup and put a little real honey on it, and its quite good.

The Teriyaki Chicken Salad is to die for. A dear friend bought two of the Salads over to our home after my Mothers Surgery. One Salad was enough for both my Mother and me. I had never heard of this restaurant prior to that. Ive been hooked every since. That was two years ago. I cant stop eating the Teriyaki Chicken Salad long enough to try anything else on the menu. An added bonus is the awesome customer service! That alone keeps you coming back. In addition they have a very nice, neat and clean establishment which is a must for me. I highly recommend this restaurant. Great food, large portions, awesome customer service and an A-grade sanitation rating.

Love this place! Great service, fast food and huge portions. If you leave there hungry, its your fault! We always order the shrimp platter which is 8.95. It comes with tons of shrimp, fries, slaw, hushpuppies and two other sides (maybe three??). Its enough to feed myself and a 9 & 4 yr. old off one plate. My husband can usually eat all of his--but he can barely walk afterwards! Highly recommend the pork chops also!

Has been a neighborhood landmark for several generations. Generous portions of food at reasonable prices. Dishes include chicken, seafood, spaghetti, salads, vegetables and sandwiches of all kinds. Deserts for the sweet tooth with a staff that will make you feel like family. One try and you will become a regular ,family atmosphere! Come fill the love!

My husband has been eating here since childhood and now my kids get to. Huge portions for the price, great food, fantastic service. Its nice and clean and I like the decor. Most of the employees have been here a very long time so they must treat them good. As long as theyre in business, theyll have my business. Highly recommended.

First time visiting, had heard about the great salads, seafood, and pork chops!! I will go back and try one of these. Didnt really care for the chopped steak, had to keep adding salt for flavor. Yams and okra were ok. Very friendly service.
