I had to return for a visit to this popular family restaurant. They didnt disappoint! The server that I had last time (Paige) passed by and remembered me and what I ordered. My server tonight was Stacy. Stacy was energetic and friendly. She was on spot with everything that I needed. Now to the food. Country-fried steak, mashed potatoes and turnip greens. First, let me point out that these folks know what a hot meal is. My food was hot like I was in my own kitchen. Speaking of kitchens, apparently they have somebodys grandma in that kitchen. The meal was excellent with everything seasoned and cooked just right. Ill be back!

My family used to visit Southern Family a long time ago when I was a kid, and we stopped going because it wasnt very good, but I must say, it has improved greatly. We visited the other night and the food and service were great. My extremely picky 4-year-old even found something he waited and ate. An entire sandwich, which is very unusual for him. We will definitely be back again!

Late in reviewing. October 2013. Had reserved room for 54th high school reunion. Food was very good and the service was OUTSTANDING. One young lady took our orders, served our meals , refilled our glasses, and prepared our bills. We will be back for # 55 in October 2014.

Typical family style, microwaved or frozen dishes...a few daily cooked entrees, TV dinner tastes for most dishes. Nothing special but locals keep coming back. Not recommend.
