I have to say this was a horrible experience. We went @ 7:30 pm on 2/12/15. The atmosphere was nice and we had never been there before. I watched the waitress take the tops off the sauce squeeze bottles, of ALL surrounding tables. She put them in a cup and stirred them, and then proceeded to refill sauces with sauces from other tables. Then, without drying, replaced the tops. Makes me wonder when (if ever) those bottles get washed. I can only assume the ketchup gets the same treatment. Thinking about the thousands of people who touch those bottles daily, make me wretch with disgust. Is this a standard practice in the Florida food industry. DISGUSTING! My son ordered the macaroni and cheese which looked and tasted like melted crayons over pasta. And should I mention the baked beans, obviously from a can. The waitress made the comment about their ribs being "almost" famous. I had better in tv dinners. I will say the ribs were cooked to perfection, but the vinegar tasting sauce ruined them immediately. Im not sure what restaurant the other people writing reviews were at. Maybe they just dont have tastebuds. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

DISAPPOINTING! Had dinner here for the first time with family who are from out of town (Im a 4 year local first time diner) hoping to show them what good local Clermont Food is like but unfortunately, while the service was attentive and friendly I wish I could have the same with regard for their food. Four of us dined and everything except the smoked sausage was terrible, desert dry chicken, mac and cheese thats more fitting for inmate food, smoked beef that looked more like cold cuts and not even like warm, over fried breaded fish, TERRIBLE! Worse yet, my fiancé and I also suffered stomach pains that night from their food. It was near closing so that might explain the poor quality. Had the mind to let a manager know, but its my first and last visit. Spent about $60 before tip for 4 entree dishes and non alcoholic beverages. - 4 star waitress service - 1 star food taste and quality since the sausage was good otherwise 0 stars esp for the stomach discomfort. - 2 stars for the out dated decor in need of a "restaurant impossible" makeover.

Bless their hearts for trying but this is not Southern food. Ordered pork with mac n cheese and coleslaw. The pork was like it had been chewed up and spit out with no real taste other than the sauce it was mixed with. Mac n cheese was like it came from a cheap microwaveable TV dinner- mushy and bland. The coleslaw wasnt much better, watery (not moist, *watery*) and also bland. The bread tasted like it had come out of a cheap bulk-serving box and nuked. Small portion of sides, one slice bread, fairly large portion of meat (which doesnt matter because it wasnt good). The sweet tea, however, was good. Could have been brewed bolder but at least it was actually sweet.

I went here a couple weeks ago for lunch, and the service and food were outstanding. I dont think Ive ever ordered and received my food that fast anywhere else in my life! I always get the same thing, turkey plate with greens, toast, and this time I switched it up and got a sweet potato instead of fries. Best sweet potato ever! Cooked to perfection. I was kind of bummed about them now longer having the fried pickles, but forgot all about that by time I got my food and ate. I definitely recommend Oakwood Smokehouse!

Thinly sliced beef was as if it came straight out of the refrigerator, supposed to be smoked...it was not. It was as if it was deli beef. My sweet potato was so burned I had to cut off the whole bottom which left me with about a 1/2 inch of potato that wasnt burned. We asked to speak with the manager twice. It appeared he didnt want to come to the table although he finally arrived at our table about 15 minutes after we had first asked to speak with him. I personally would not go back to this restaurant.

I wouldnt call this real BBQ. It was smoked meat that had little if any seasoning and sliced deli meat thin. I have never seen such tiny ribs. My pinky is bigger than the bones. Beans had to come out of a can. Mac and cheese same. Not sure where the portions are so big it leaves leftovers. At least it was edible. Never going back.

Great place for baby back fall off of the bone ribs. Seating is very uncomfortable for large parties as we experience this a few days ago on Sunday. There is no Wi-Fi in the restaurant which defeats every aspect of this restaurant being a place that has very very good food. Not customer friendly when you do not have wifi.

Great service and large portions of good food!! able to switch up sides was very nice and just plain good BBQ!!! We had so much to take home that I had for for lunch again the next day and that was from the lunch portion... could not image what the dinner portion would serve. Very good place looking to go back soon!!

I take my mother here at least twice a month. The food is great and reasonably priced, and most of all the service is excellent. My mom uses a walker and every time we visit as we approach the doors we are met by the friendly staff. We never feel rushed which is not always the case when we go out.

it closes at 8:00 pm Monday through Thursday...Saturday and Sunday it closes at 9:00 and on Sunday it closes at 6:00. What kind of restaurant closes this early in the Orlando area??? The owner must be running this restaurant to loose money because they cant be making money with these hours.

Big portions, not too expensive. The corn fritters are amazing, slaw was good. I had take out, and after I paid they asked me if I wanted extra sauce, I said yes, sweet and hot. They gave me 3 extra of each at no charge. Ribs were the bomb. They had redhook on tap too.

Every item weve tasted here has been amazing. The salads are always fresh. The BBQ options are great. The desserts are like gramma made. Service has always been wonderful, cheerful, and friendly. This has become one of our regular stops!
