Okay, so lets break this down. I have gone to Avocados once a week for about 8 or 9 weeks now for my weekly trivia event. We have yet to have a truly great experience, but its been okay. However... 1. The food is extremely overpriced for what you get. The food is usually fairly lukewarm, the burritos are presented like wraps, everything tastes okay but nothing is spectacular, the drinks are small, and the menu is relatively confusing. 2. The service isnt great. The wait staff (save for one or two people) doesnt really smile. It generally takes at least 30-45 minutes for water refills because the waiters disappear for long periods of time. 3. The management is awful. If you sit at the bar, you can literally hear them talking about prices and how much of a profit they make off of each item and how people need to spend more money and how they hate cheap people. Which brings us to... 4. Last night, they literally kicked us out for not spending enough. Mind you, the place is never full, so weve never taken a table away from anyone who has wanted to dine. We have always bought at least drinks when weve gone, but due to the overpriced food, we cant afford to eat dinner there every week for the trivia event. HOWEVER, we do give them money they wouldnt otherwise have had if our table had sat empty. Yet they still told us they wont seat us next week because weve been too cheap. Not only that, but for several weeks theyve been whispering insults about our team to all the other teams about how cheap we are. We are all Disney cast members, and we dont make enough to pay for $14 burritos every week. We dont need for all of our trivia friends to know how little money were spending because thats inappropriate. But Avocados management doesnt seem to think so. So now our team is having to re-group and switch venues which will be difficult with everyones work schedules, and its all because this restaurant is greedy and nonsensical. They have some good specials sometimes, but basically dont get just the specials because youll be side-eyed from the bar the entire time for being cheap.

I don´t use to write reviews about restaurants or places that I visit unless it is extraordinarily outstanding like Avocado Mexican Grill... It was 3 pm with the mission to find the best and closest restaurant to feed 4 starving soccer families and I chose Avocado... it could not be better and 5 starts falls short, since the beginning it was an amazing experience, his owner (Marco) received us and guide us through his most recent tequila acquisitions at his bar, them they waiter brought a great margarita (generous on tequila) and the food was up to the expectations (being married to a Mexican girl who cooks great and traveling every month to Mexico my expectations were high) ... we ordered flautas for the kids and a Molcajete for 2 (Molcajete for 1 is big enough for 2 people and it comes with Longaniza)... the sensation of the place, the people (real mexicans) and the food was exactly as enjoying a great food directly in Mexico.... I never expected to have such a great experience... Thanks Avocado... Thanks Marco and looking forward to be in Orlando again to stop by Avocado

Overpriced and the wait staff seemed to think we werent classy enough for this fancy joint. If youre looking for decent Mexican food in the Celebration area, go to Chuys on 192. Much better wait staff, great atmosphere, and pretty good food. This coming from an ex-Texan whos used to awesome Mexican on every street corner. Anyway, Ive been to this place twice and it was pretty good the first time when I came for lunch. A little overpriced, but the food was decent and its not like Im poor or anything. So, I decided to come back for dinner a couple of weeks later. This time, our waiter was abysmal and acted (on the two or three times he actually come to our table) like we werent the upper-class sort of clientele the restaurant was used to catering to. Maybe because I was only wearing blue jeans? No suit? In any case, when I finally asked, after waiting 10+ minutes for him to bring the check, whether we needed to go to the cashier to pay, he told me were not Golden Corral around here ...

First off, this is NOT Mexican food. The rice tasted like it was from a bag or a box (think Knorr chicken-flavored rice packets or rice-a-roni) and was not the "cilantro-lime" rice as advertised. The "black and pinto bean mixture" were canned black beans. I can guarantee that NOTHING in this restaurant is made form scratch, down to the Tostitos chips and jarred salsa and the Chi-Chis margarita-mix drinks. Our waiter was nice, but he took forever (there were only 2 other tables seated in the whole place) and he spilled water all over my husband and brother-in-law and their food. I understand that this type of stuff happens, so we still left a nice tip, but COME ON. I was so mad we chose to have our only meal in Celebration on our quick vacation to Florida at this place when there are so many other nice restaurants within walking distance. Seriously, stay away. You will leave disappointed.

An extraordinary place with amazing authentic Mexican food, so delicious you will want to keep eating after you are full. The only Full Tequila Bar in the area. The people are super friendly, excellent service. A really good place to go for dinner with family and friends. Try the Avocado Margarita... AMAZING! You can also call to make a reservation for any celebration in advance! The restaurant is under new management since the beginning of May and they have stepped up the game. Truly amazing place to go with good food and create amazing memories with friends and family.

We come here a lot and we have never been disappointed with the food or the service. The staff has always been extremely friendly and the service has always been fast. The food is always really good and the prices arent bad either. We usually bring our friends and family here to eat when they visit and they all really enjoy it. Im not sure why there are so many negative comments. Our experiences here have always been wonderful. The only complaint that I have is, they really could use a happy hour. Or maybe I just need a happy hour :-)

My girlfriend and I finally made it to Avocado for dinner recently after hearing many good things about the cuisine and friendly staff. I will say that I was not disappointed with our decision! The food itself was well prepared and very delicious, and the staff was amazing as well. The ambience is unique as there are paintings and artwork which contribute to the Mexican theming all around the interior and exterior. If you are looking for a different Mexican style dining experience then this is the place for you!

The fajita dish was decent. Rice and beans were very salty. Make sure to check your receipt! I was charged twice for a total of 40% in service charge and gratuity. When I asked why the bill was so high, I couldnt get a straight answer. The waiters either didnt know or tried to justify it. After talking with the bartender, he finally explained that it was a mistake and fixed the issue. Either way after the service charge and overall experience, the food was overpriced.

This place was great! First off this area of downtown Celebration is AWESOME. Its so quiet and laid back, nothing like other parts of this area. The food here was so good and plentiful. The queso was on point as was the house Marg which is $5 during happy hour. I had the mixed fajitas which had steak chicken and shrimp it was so much food and the best part about this place is the affordability. Do yourself a favor and spend some time in this area and at Avocado!
