I have been going to the Willoughby location for literally the past ten years, when my parents moved to the area. The store used to be exemplary, making it my wifes and my Chipotle of choice. Unfortunately, over the past several months, the stores service has consistently deteriorated; no matter the time of day -- even literally right at opening -- there is a long line of customers waiting and a minimal amount of employees behind the counter. What employees there are, furthermore, are typically slow and untrained (making something of a strong correlation, Im sure). Tonight, unfortunately, was the last straw. I placed an online order for pickup at 7:15. I arrived in the store at 7:10 -- and finally had to leave at 7:50 with no food, barely an apology, and a disappointed (and hungry) family in the car. (Once the fifth customer who came in after me got his order, I couldnt stand to wait any longer.) The cashier wasnt rude, but she certainly wasnt professional, either, just telling the huge line of pick-up customers, "Lookit the line of customers -- theres only three of us. What do you expect?" Even more frustrating, however, was the presence of some four or five additional employees who would only come out from the back room to chitchat with the cashier (and her friends, who came in and filled out a fax form so they wouldnt have to wait in line [not that it did them any good, either]). Finally, theres all the external factors that compounded the situation. My wife is five months pregnant and had to wait in a hot car with my two-year-old son who wasnt wearing a diaper since were trying to potty train him and we didnt think wed be waiting at the store for 40 minutes (with no food, to boot). And we were in the area in order to feed my mothers dog, since shes out of town for the weekend (even the poor dog went hungry for quite some time). I can safely say that my family will never go to this Chipotle again, and it even makes us reconsider visiting the location closer to us -- the Willoughby locations slow-but-steady decline has been going on for far too long.

I LOVE CHIPOTLE, but... I HATE THIS LOCATION! Its terrible. They are SO SLOW! EVERY SINGLE TIME... .without fail they disappoint. They are very stingy with the ingredients and my sister has asked for peppers and onions. They put one piece of pepper and one strip of onion. She asked for more and the girl gave her one more piece of pepper! Like, seriously? Aside from that the bigger issue is that the line is ALWAYS to the door, but once you get in line, you are in line for close to 20-40 minutes!! THEY ARE SO INSANELY S-L-O-W! The other chipotle stores never have you waiting in line that long. Ive been there before when it has been close to 8 mins where the line does not move whatsoever! The management needs to address this issue. I drive out of my way to go to another city to avoid this embarrassing customer service and lax staff! Half the time they are out of what you want. How do you run out of rice? Seriously? This particular location deserves ZERO stars! Management needs replaced and staff needs retrained! GET IT TOGETHER! Ive walked out of this store so many times, we dont even bother trying to wait in line anymore. We go elsewhere. The mentor location is a MILLION times better! The staff is faster, friendlier and the food is fresher and AVAILABLE!

Almost always great food. Always warm, fresh...etc. Sometimes if the do mess up they offer you free drinks and of course a remake of the food. They always give bigger portions then the other Chipotles do. Only down side is they go through workers fast. Within about a years time everyone is entirely new there. I go a few times a month and that alone makes me see new workers. Not sayings its a bad thing but I know why it probably happens. Its because its a VERY stressful job I imagine.
Since the lines can be long, customers can be rude and now the online ordering... its a very fast paced place. Me? I dont mind the long lines. I see many complain as if its the end of the world. If you have been to a place like this you should know there are long lines. Sometimes as much as 35 minutes at peak hours. The online ordering doesnt help at all of course, just makes lines longer.
If Chipotles was bad, they wouldnt have such long lines. Remember that when someone tells you "I can go to

My experience is bad seriously every single time I go here the employees do not actually listen to the customer when they are ordering They always mess my order up even though I am standing there right in front of them saying it as they are making it They are constantly out of everything Wether that be rice Chicken Guacamole Cheese Veggies Its always something Tonight they made me wait 30 minutes to make fresh guacamole Granted I understand you need to have fresh ingredients and can only have things out so long obviously or it would go rancid but I just feel as though a manager myself I would be a little more prepared and timely with these things since that is the products you are selling I guess I can solve the problem by never returning to this location Wish I promise I will never ever return Im really not sure if I have incredibly bad timing every time I visit this location Or if this location has bad management and a poorly trained staff But Im leaning more towards the second one.

Knowing that there is always a long line at this Chipotle and having 1/2 hour for lunch, I fax my order. The idea is that you go to the cashier, your order is ready, you pay, you go on your merry way. I always call the store to confirm that theyve received my order. Today I faxed my order, confirmed it, went to pick it up 10 minutes after the requested time, the girl couldnt find it in the system. When she finally understood that I had faxed it, she found it. My order, of course, was not ready. Then I waited several minutes for them to make it. If I wasnt so hungry and wanting Chipotle food, I would have left. In past experiences, I have left. Screw it, if they get stuck with the food they have only their crappy service to blame. I have brought it up with Corporate who assures me theyll address the problem with the Manager and send me free Burrito cards. Never got the cards. I thought maybe the service would have improved since I was last there nearly a year ago. Nope. Still sucks.

I must say that a few short years ago this astablaishment (in my opinion ) was fanominal. People were welcoming, happy & joyful. The food was fanominal and you definitely got what you paid for (they wasnt afraid to feed you) and had you served within a reasonable amount of time (15 min. MAX.) I along with several others I have noticed that this proticular astablaishment is on a downward spiral. First of all , I waited in line for every bit or 40 min. (There is absolutely "NO" reason for this!!!) Second of all, the staff is there for a pay check and only for a pay check (they make that super obvious) Third of all , the food is still good "EXCEPT" they used to serve up a spoon full of pride as to now they serve up a 1/4 to 1/2 spoon full of greed. I am sorry to say that my family "WILL NOT" be returning. CORPORATE : if you dont want this location to shut down, I suggest you do something "FAST" I really hope you take the time to read this all the way to the end.
