I wanted to dine in Piola for their ayce gnocchi night for some time when there used to be one in NYC. Timing was just never right (only 29th day of the month) and the pending reopening went on without any progresses or updates. When I moved to DC, I finally jumped onto the opportunity. My husband and I came this past 29th and sat on the roof top for a gluttonous, romantic, welcoming dinner to a long weekend. Perhaps since we were one of the firsts to arrive, the service was awesome at the first half of our meal. We were served and checked on with new flavor of gnocchi every 5-7 mins. Being an ayce - I was impressed by the quality of their gnocchi - they were fresh, piping hot, soft, pillowy, melt in my mouth yum! They offered such great varieties - we must had sampled at least 10 different flavors - my personal fav were the tomato with basil and vodka with salmon. However half way through our dinner, the service really went downhill. Perhaps they were overwhelmed? Or understaffed? We were served maybe every 20-25 mins. Ultimately, we had to personally get up and request more food to be brought to us. Although our dinner lasted much longer than we intended, it was an experience my husband and I both enjoyed. For $16 per person, we definitely ate our gnocchi worth. Probably wont be return any time soon since we are pretty much gnocchi-ed out, but heard amazing things about their ayce pizza brunch - will def check it out!

We went here for the first time Friday for happy hour on the roof. The ambiance was great. The happy hour specials included $4 beer, $5 wine, $6 specialty cocktails until 7 PM. We ordered a salad and split the Como pizza and burrata pizza. They were both delicious and flavorful. The food and drinks came out quickly and the service was excellent. We even received a complimentary lemon sorbetta as an dessert/cocktail. I will definitely be back here!

I went to Piola for Valentines Day. While this might seem like a silly choice, it was a pretty phenomenal meal! Not only were we treated to multiple fun treats on the house (strawberry puree and champagne, anyone?), the service was pretty great too. The pizza is yummy and the decor is unique. I would recommend it for a silly date night.

The food was OK, overpriced and under-portioned, but the service was genuinely awful. Every two or three minutes some member of the wait staff would interrupt our conversation to ask if everything was okay, and for a fancy pizza place they were exceptionally condescending in their affect.

We had a double date at Piolas and I got to say that it was actually really good. The appetizers were just right, the main course was delicious, and the dessert was good. I would definitely recommend this place! The waiter was amazing and recommended the best food.

It was over priced. The online prices dont match the prices in the restaurant. Every single one of our food orders was messed up or took too much time. The pizza was halfway decent. The drinks were self service which was nice, but not convenient for the price.

i went on yelp to look for carbonara. they gave me a photo of a tasty looking pasta dish under Piolas restaurant. i go Piola. i ask for carbonara. they gave me a pizza with carbonara toppings. not what i rly wanted but it wasnt all that bad.

I just ordered , but I dont feel comftible to provide my cridet card information over the phone, I asked them if thy had a comp to pay with but unfortunately thy dont and I hade to find Cush at late night.. Not sure how the pizza would be

Really like the food here, and they have an all night half price bottles of wine on Monday. The salads are good as are the pizzas. If you are sitting at the bar during happy hour, they often bring out a few slices of cheese pizza to enjoy!

Mamagement is unorganized. Service is terrible. Food is ok but I rated one star because im italian and i actually know what real italian food is supposed to taste like. I dont even think there is one italian working in there. Place sucks.

Pizza has way too much cheese - its certainly Americanized Pizza (sample size is 6 here). Nothing authentic Italian! Since when does a Pizza Napoli has cheese on it?? And sun-dried tomatoes? Its too expensive for what it is.

Love this place. We visited ay 1130 at night. Ranita took great care of us. Sweet young lady was sincere and appropriately checked in on us at just the right times. We bought the spicy pizza; very good and nice portion size.

Love their brunch menu and mimosa/sangria station. Consistently good food. Its the closest youll get to an authentic NYC pizza . Trust , as a native I know . The owner is nice & accommodating and he has a friendly staff.

I have never been to Piola, but I deliver from there very frequently. Their pizza is one of the best, but my personal favorite is the gnocchi. It is exquisite. And try their desserts. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Uber eats order: had a very filling and satisfying meal of spaghetti and pizza (they have the thin crust almost Italy made pizzas vs American stuff your mouth type). Very affordable for the quality served!!

All you can eat apps and pizza brunch cant be beat! I love the make your own mimosa bar. The atmosphere is awesome and great for meeting other people by the bar. Reasonably priced for all you get.
