Wow, my experience was nothing like the previous review. We arrived late in town and had only 45 minutes before the restaurant closed. The hostess gave us precise directions and told us not to rush, We were welcomed, seated and attended to warmly. Never did we feel they were anxious to move us along. The pan-seared clam appetizer was perfect in preparation and complex in taste and almost enough for an entree. My scallops and my husbands tile fish looked so appetizing I posted the pictures on FaceBook, and I never do that. We savored it all and caught every bit of flavor with the warm bread. I would have loved dessert, though encouraged to order, it was late and we were looking forward to our stroll along the boardwalk to the hotel. I would not hesitate to go there again!

Great food and great service. Cole was our waiter and he knew the restaurant and menu inside out. It turns out that he works for SoDel min another role so he truly is part of the team. Stephanie, in her first night serving here, was cheery, friendly and helpful too. The bolognese was excellent as were the veal meatballs. I also enjoyed their take on the Caesar salad. Three heirloom baby romaine halves that were almost sweet. The dressing was well balanced and almost light. A special gazpacho was full of flavor and perfect for the hot summer day. The house made focaccia was excellent as well. The portions were large and, as is usually not the case, I was too full for dessert. SoDel never fails to Impress us. Lupo is an excellent part of their business.

Dont eat here. This place is over priced and the food is not good. My wife ordered a Lasagna dinner and all she got was a small square with almost nothing in it. We went there for Valentines day and requested a table that was not near the kitchen and were told it was reserved. We then asked for another table that was open and was told the same thing. Both of those tables were not used the entire time we were there. The restaurant closed at 9:00 that evening and when we left at 8:45 the tables were still not taken. Horrible customer service. Dont waste your money at this place.

We had the good fortune to choose Lupo to celebrate our recent anniversary. We have been to Lupo before and always enjoyed it. However, this visit was especially good. The food was perfect, the wine list excellent (half-price wine night was a real treat) and the service was excellent as always. We are always impressed by the knowledgable and very friendly staff.

Man I wish I hadnt discovered this place. The pasta is made fresh in house. The shrimp Carbonara is to die for! Pretty much a once a week stop for our household. Love sitting at the bar on Wednesdays. The bartender is very good and fun!

Great fresh tasty food. Homemade pasta dishes are wonderful. My husband had the rigatoni boulanaise and I had the lobster pasta dish in a light cream sauce. Both were unbelievable. The tiramiso was the best Ive ever had. We will be back.

Portions are European size. The food is delicious and they have 50% off pasta dishes on Wednesdays. Service is excellent. However, the bread is not the crusty Italian bread we find in NY/NJ Italian restaurants. Overall, I recommend it.

Dont waste your money. It looks pretty but the food may as well be Chef Boyrdee. It took the waiter and kitchen 3 attempts to bring the correct dish. Best part the waiter rolled his eyes every time.
