Had meatballs and arancini for starters. Both were nice and the Bellini pizza was interesting as it used feta cheese instead of mozzarella. But it was done well. The only snag was at the end when it came to bill paying, a large number of patrons came in and our waiter got flustered and messed up the bill. Sorted it out eventually though. Update: Went for dinner tonight and had the meatballs again (still good) and the beet salad (fine), but the Capricciosa pizza we had suffered a case of soggy bottom (for all you GBBO watchers) yet was burnt on the edges. The pizza tasted okay, but lots of liquid isnt something you really want with a pizza. Brunch update: Went there for brunch. We had the fried chicken waffle and calzone. Chicken and waffle werent too crispy, but waffles seem to just be done that way in NY. The calzone was interesting as I hadnt had one before, sort of a folded over pizza thats baked like a pastie, I liked it though. The staff are very nice though.

Our waiter forgot to wear a belt and his pants fell down... Decent food. We brought our own wine and he took the leftover wine when we left. He served us the wrong food which we ate a bite without realizing it was switched and switched it with the other customers plate so we each ended up with half eaten portions. The waiter wasnt even italian.... Freakish turk. I will never go back. Also he charged us extra for taking over 25 minutes to eat. Oh and the wirst part... I found a partially eaten kitten or some feline. Btw do NOT use their restroom there was a dead snake half flushed. I do not recommend this dump

After having had a hard time resisting what appeared to be some amazing dishes that people were enjoying at the outdoor tables, we decided to change course and give Bellini a try. Rather than sit outside, we opted for the cozy interior, and was not let down. The tomato sauce was just what we were hoping for, fresh, chunky and delicious. The two dishes that we ordered, a grilled chicken with spaghetti and the shrimp parmigiana with linguine were cooked to perfection. The pizzas on some of the other tables looked to be just as appealing and are crying out to be tried next time.

Bellinis used to be one of my favorite go-to lunch places until new management took over and raised prices simultaneously with culling the menu. Until then, their pastas were always reliable -- their gnocchi w/ pesto among the best Ive ever had -- and service was exemplary. It didnt take long, however, for the place to close down. Apparently they are up and running again -- another new management? -- and Ill eagerly give them another try based upon previous happy times there.

This place is a BYOB in a quiet little spot on the upper west side. Right next door is a liquor store with great staff that helped us pick out a good bottle for dinner. The pasta dishes are amazing...they also have homemade bread which is to die for. Ive gone a few times now and both times have been great. First with a big group - we filled up the entire restaurant basically (its pretty small) but they were thrilled to have us!! Would recommend for a small or large party.

This restaurant was just what my husband and I needed after a long day in Manhattan. A gentleman welcomed us in and pulled at my chair for me to sit down. The entire staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing and most of all, the food was delicious! This was by far the best meal we had during our trip to NYC, and it may be the best italian food Ive ever had. If you are looking to escape to a nice restaurant with amazing food, this is the place.

Scelto per caso. Cibo buono e abbondante anche se di italiano aveva ben poco... ( il cuoco chiaramente messicano la dice lunga). Unica pecca: alle 22:30, tutti fuori che si chiude!

Ive been there a couple times with my girlfriend. We just love everything about this little cozy restaurant. I tried a pasta dish and my girlfriend tried the Fish dishes, they were delicious. The chef knows what hes doing. We became regulars for the restaurant. The service is also outstanding and theyre very helpful and attending. I recommend Bellini to everyone on the UWS.

I visited NYC a couple of weeks ago for a weekend to see some friends. One evening as I was wandering around Central Park, I stumbled upon Bellini. I had dinner there by myself while my friends were at work, and boy did I make the right choice. The Tagliatelle con Ragu was delicious. Of all the Italian restaurants in NYC, Im glad I managed to find my way to this one.

The only thing good was the bread and penne vodka. Service was HORRIBLE! They lied about the cork fee on open table. We also saw him turn away customers for groupons. The waiter constantly had to ask his boss EVERYTHING. He ignored us when we asked for the check. Clam capellini was average. Eggplant parmesean was ok, rigatoni bolognese wasnt good. Well never come back.

Very small, but very good. Make reservations. The staff is very accommodating and helped us choose the best dishes on the menu. We were even served an extra glass of wine when our bottle was finished :) the penne arrabbiata was amazing. I hate spicy so I asked for it to be mild and it was served perfectly. The chocolate dessert was out of this world. Ill be back!

This is my preferred option in the neighborhood for non-cheap pizza delivery. I like it a bit more than Deans, Coppolas or Patsys on 74th St). But, I was disappointed recently to receive two pies that were *very* dry and chewy, like theyd been under a heat lamp for way too long. Hopefully just a fluke!

My husband and I came here after walking through the Museum of Natural History. First, the service was excellent. The servers were kind and knowledgeable. The food was amazing. We ordered the pasta faggioli; it was fantastic! If we ever travel back to NYC, we will make sure to stop in for a meal!

The waiter forgot our appetizers, then when we asked him about it he tried playing it off like we never ordered it. To top it off we ordered aldente linguini and the pasta came out sour! He tried saying it was the sauce, it was not. The pizza and seafood was good. Maybe a off day!

Amazing food, very high quality and delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff. High recommended as appetizers: calamari, clams and risotto balls. Great salmon and brussel sprouts. Try the Nutella pizza and tiramisu for dessert. We loved it!

A group of us were visiting from Canada. Decided to go here as we were at Central Park for the day. I loved it here! Its such a nice restaurant, great prices, has a small patio, and clean facilities. I had the eggplant parm. It was the best Ive had.
