Very unpleasant. I took my wife for a nice dinner as it was her birthday. Reservations were made. Being crowded and being loud, may not be for me to criticize, but having to shout must of the evening, was. My observation may not be accurate but it seems that the place is 50x50 and pack with over 250 people, did not match the pictures in the website. I was hoping to dine with view of the sound, No chance. Dining is to be enjoyed and not feel you are rushed, but watching the waiters running like responding to a whip, hardly having time to talk to you, was not what I expect a pleasant ambiance for dinner. Food was good, but hearing the cling of the twist cap wine bottle hit the glass in a rush , was not. The menus did look bad. 1 had stains. Very low class. Is this place in Westport? I did not feel so. 1 star is kind of generous.

Food good but management need to get their act together. Had reservation for 12.45pm, but had to wait 20+ minutes to be seated... yet someone who had no reservation and came in after me was seated before me! Management denied this but I know what I saw and heard. Then there was a 45 minute wait for our entrees ... we ordered no appetizers. When we checked why it was taking so long, were told they had two private party groups there for lunch, ordering 50 entrees simultaneously which was pushing smaller orders (like ours) to the back of the queue. When you have group reservations that size, would you not make arrangements to have extra hands on deck to handle the load better? Obviously not!

Can i say wow!!! The view of the sound was amazing. Pearl is new and whoever did the interior design was spot on. Antonio took care of us and was great about recommending wines and guiding us through the menu. We started with a tower of oysters and little-necks. They were gracious enough to walk us through what type each oyster was so we could pick our favorite. I finished with the mushroom risotto and a small plate of steak tartar. I was catching up with a friend and we were there for what seemed like hours and they never made us feel like we overstayed our welcome. Ill definitely be back for that patio in the summer!!

Westports got a secret! The Pearl at Longshore hidden behind the fairways and tee boxes at the edge of Long Island Sound. A long bar hosted by the next mixologists in CT...fresh, seasonal dishes endlessly flow from the kitchen...our waiter, Calvin managed an endless flow of local oysters, pasta, carefully prepared meats and fresh caught seafood ... our table was awash in delicious Italian wines ... a night to remember and one to repeat again very soon!

Prosciutto and Calamari. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Prices are fair for what you get. Definitely very nice upscale restaurant with waterfront, views of the bay and live music. Make reservations as this place gets packed most of the time

Nice location and decor. Okay for a crowd, but not very intimate. It was hot and humid from waiters going in and out. The food was good, but pricey and small portions. I felt like it was more about being a place to be seen in, than a nice restaurant.
