What a great find! My husband and I just wanted a quick appetizer and glass of wine before our movie at the outlets and we saw "Verde" pop up on a list of restaurants that was in the area. We walked in and were immediately greeted by a hostess and seated at the bar. The "bartender" who offered us menus and drinks, we later learned was the manager and owner! Friendly, but not aggressive or annoying, he gave recommendations for appetizers (the pulled chicken arancini was fantastic and the warm mozzarella was great, but definitely sized to share.) We were so enthused, we decided to order dinner, which came with salads (we were worried about getting too stuffed since the appetizers were share-sized portions, we asked to pack up the salads and he did for us.) My husband got the cavatelli bolognese (huge portion and definitely lunch for today!) and I got the ricotta, goat cheese and basil ravioli (I also made myself save some for lunch later today). The atmosphere for the Saturday afternoon at 3:30 was pleasant, with light music playing in the background. The drink selection (all American wines, beers, spirits and fun looking cocktails) was also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back and are so excited to have a great alternative to going into Babylon or Huntington Village!

My favorite restaurant on LI. Even if Im not hungry, if someone suggests going to Verde, Im there. The service is TOP notch. The most impressive waitstaff- they are so on top of everything. Very knowledgeable, prompt, eager to please and super friendly and fun to talk to. I feel very taken care of when I go. My bf has a gluten allergy and its one of the few restaurants where we feel 100% comfortable with how the food is prepared. They take it very seriously and do everything in their power to accommodate. The food is spectacular and so creative. Their suppliers are local, menu changes with the season and the ingredients are very interesting. Not your typical Italian joint! We LOVE the offal menu and always order 1 or 2 dishes from it every time. Its just so fun to come here, chitchat with the staff, try new things and leave totally stuffed :).

LOVED, loved, loved Verde. I just took my boyfriend here for his birthday last weekend and it was the first time here for the both of us. The place looked really amazing and the food was even better! They had a really nice selection of food and I literally wish I couldve tried everything on the menu (hence why we will be going back!). The owner introduced himself and explained a little bit about the restaurant which we both thought was really nice. The only downside was the chairs.. super uncomfortable. I hope they will get better ones in the future. The menu was also a little awkward being on a clip board. I wish they would just get the menus bound or something like that. Loved it! Will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you!

Walking into Deer Parks Verde Wine Bar and Ristorante is like walking into a top-notch, new American hot spot in Hells Kitchen. The menu is classy and unique. With options ranging from a deliciously tender wagyu sirloin to my favorite dish, black linguini, an explosion of savory flavor with fresh octopus. Not only is the dinner menu fantastic but the drink menu is equally impressive. Ive enjoyed every cocktail Ive tried and especially love their playful revisions on the classic Manhattan. Verde is a hit every time we visit. Be sure to speak with Anthony and learn the rich history of his beautiful family-owned restaurant!

Sick of either getting amazing food OR amazing service? Then go eat at Verde! The service will blow your mind and immerse you in the dining experience. You wont have time to complain. We keep eating here. It is absolutely amazing every time. Fantastic service. Must get the Sicilian lifeguard calamari is to die for. Just order it. Meatballs are excellent. Cavateli bolognase is delicious. You have found your new favorite restaurant, now go eat at it! Thank me later! Mike & Kim

This place is nice and on the classy side. Fortunately for us, they still allow shorts and flip flops! We had just come from a water park and werent looking our most glamorous, but the host and waiters didnt bat an eye! They treated us with the same respect as those who were wearing fancy clothes. I really appreciated that because I was pretty embarrassed walking in with my jean shorts and sneakers! Food was delicious, especially the pizzas. Overall, great place!

We had my best friends bridal shower here yesterday and they were just wonderful, the most accommodating staff ive ever had the pleasure of working with. The food was fantastic, the dessert was delicious and they even threw in champagne. If your looking for a beautiful place to throw a shower trust me Verde is definitly the place to go. I NEVER review anything online but I wanted to take the time to review Verde because of our amazing experience with them.

Superb food with offerings not commonly seen in other restaurants. I also like that Verde doesnt slather you with oversized gavone portions, allowing you to sample multiple options without feeling like you need a wheel barrow to get back to your car. Moreover the unique drink selections are locally chosen by small independent operations making them characteristically new and tasty, while supporting local businesses.

My family had a surprise birthday party for my wife on August 21st 2016. We had 43 guests, and everyone raved about Verde, if you ever need to have a party, see Anthony. The bartender, the chef, the waiters and entire staff did an amazing job at making sure everything was just right...and it was. By the way, my wife was totally surprised and loved every minute of it. Thanks Anthony and Verde for everything!!

Really like this restaurant! The menu is extensive - a combination of modern and traditional Italian. The fried calamari can be done two ways - classic or "Italian Lifeguard Style" with hot peppers, tomato confit, garlic, olives, and lemon. The "warm mozzarella" appetizer is fantastic! The "veal chop piccata" is fantastic also! Nice atmosphere. Excellent service!

If you are looking to have great food and great service, then Verde Wine Bar & Restaurant is for you. I cant say enough about both. In addition, they have great catering options. I have had a few events at the Deer Park location as well Bella Verde in Brentwood and everything was perfect. Home catering service was excellent as well. Anthony and staff - EXCELLENT!

I had been to Verde in its previous form and I was blown away when I came in after the update. The bar area is trendy and the cocktails are top-shelf. The food is phenomenal, the burger is one of the best Ive ever had. Ive run a few business dinners there in addition to lunch. No complaints and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Staff was very courteous. Ambience is very nice for small or large groups. Prices are reasonable and food was great. Good size portions. Bread and salad come with entrees. Honestly, I have no complaints. Went for a friends birthday and we all had a great time. Will be keeping this restaurant in mind for the future,

We stopped for dinner after a recommendation on Google, well what a find! The best restaurant Ive been to in a long time. Delicious different drinks, an incredible cheese platter to start followed by amazing enters. The staff was so attentive and the atmosphere was NYC worthy. A must try if youve never been.
