I suppose Im not beautiful enough to get the inside jokes. Or I dont hang with Franz and Natalia so I dont know which cravat to where on thursdays. Its like walking into a completely different town going into 55. It SO desperately wants to be in the city. Which city I dont know, but its like they threw a dart at a map and it landed on Fairfield. That said, the wine selection is A-mazing. Food was good, but staff matches the rest of the scenery and only speaks to you if they have to. A great people watching bar. Good date spot.

It doesnt appear that there is a recession when you walk into 55. I thought the food was great and loved my fried artichoke salad and chicken entree. However, the service wasnt very good. I get really annoyed when the waiter takes the order and then hands it off to someone else to bring to the table and they have to ask you who ordered what. Other than TAKING the order, I think the waiter should know, or delegate, who GETS the order.

CARLOS the scumbag part owner would not let me pay 1/2 price for a drink for a band member and the reason the place was packed was becuz of the band. I spent over 50.00 on my bar tab and he wanted to charge me FULL price for one of the band members drinks. CARLOS U LOWLIFE.

Food was amazing!!! Deffenetly a place to take someone on a date.I dont know if the place is suppost to;but u dont have one waiter,witch was kinda defferent. The place is really peaceful and its a place that SHE would love!

The food was just OK at best and the wine temperature was way off. Come on guys wine bar and 55 are in your name, incase you didnt know that is the optimal temperature to store wine. Our bottles came out way to warm.

Just had a wonderful lunch with my mom. Brussel sprout salad crispy artichokes and Juicy Burgers!! And lava cake for dessert was amazing!! Thanks for such a fabulous experience.

We went about two years ago, so maybe it has changed, but my husband and I thought it was the most overpriced, mediocre Italian food wed ever had. Maybe its better now.

Drinks are not bad. Food is good but not great. Waiter made many mistakes in our order. But what made it worth it is that I got to sit next to Michael Bolton :)
