Ive been to the restaurant a least a dozen times. For good reason too. I love the ribs to death. I even made a trip to Chilis to compare. No comparision as Road House has them beat easily. Why did I rate 3 stars then? My last 3 visits have been unpleasant to say the least culminating with the last especially. I always order a full rack of ribs yet the last 3 times Ive been short changed with quantity. Twice I complained and was brought more, but its a given I shouldnt have to complain about something like that. I never complain at restaurants but I think because Ive been used to gettting a particular service, and now its been degraded to such a degree that I felt I had to. My last trip there (before the food even came) a very rude manager came to our table at the bar (the tables surrounding the bar) and explained to us that these tables were part of the "please wait to be seated" section. I had never heard of such a thing as no other restaurant that I had been to does such a thing. Its always first come first serve. Whats more amusing is that there was no wait at Roadhouse that night as we got there around 8pm on a thursday. So he had no good reason to bother paying customers. Hes lucky this wasnt Texas, because there youd be executed for such disrespect. I think the place is headed downhill. Where can you get better ribs though? Maybe nowhere.

The staff is courteous and restaurant was clean. The food is horrible - just awful. It was my first time trying one of these out and had no idea that their baked potato came out crusted in salt - just ALL SALT. I thought it was coconut. Not sure why anything would need that much salt. Then I tasted my steak and it was loaded in salt as well - couldnt taste the meat and the it was overcooked. I never send food back, I generally will just pick at something or not eat it - but I had to send it back. I could not even try to eat any of it. If this is normally the food - insanely salt laden food, then WOW, just WOW. The manager had to get involved as our server couldnt do anything himself, I explained to the manager that I was very sorry, but I had no idea that a baked potato and steak order needed to have a no salt request to it as it was our first time dining with them. She understood, was very apologetic and had the new food cooked and brought to me. I greatly appreciated it. Just be warned - everything is extremely salted!

My husband and I have been going to the Texas Roadhouse in Manchester CT for at least 2 years now, and have enjoyed coming back there time and time again. Our usual favorites include the chili, the steak, and the chicken caesar salad, when Im in the mood for chicken. All of the food is well-cooked, the staff is very friendly, and though my husband has a peanut intolerance, the odor of peanuts does not permeate the air - but the mouth-watering smell of steak on the grill does, especially as you approach the building. The prices are wonderful, and the food is flavorful, and plentiful. The music isnt overly loud, and while it does get busy from time to time, we figure thats also part to do with the large cinema right next door - which is also good for business. Even so, the wait is usually pretty reasonable, and the employees have never been anything but courteous.

Texas Roadhouse is a favorite chain of our familys. Always great service over here and even during the busiest of times, the wait staff have always checked in on us. A couple less than desirable experiences of a meal not cooked to order dropped my rating down a bit but it was good enough that we never felt the need to bring it to the manager. On one occasion we had just sat at our table when the fire alarm went off. The whole restaurant was evacuated and we opted to stick around and wait until the fire dept gave the all clear to have our meal. It was amazing watching their teams get the restaurant back up and running in such a short amount of time. Wait staff and the kitchen were on point that night! Very impressed with our experience that time!

My husband and I went there around 6 pm Sunday. It was pretty busy. People were waiting to be seated with parties of 4 or more. We got seated right away since it was just the 2 of us. I think the name of our server was Alison. She was great, attentive, and busy but she still took care of us well. Our food was amazing. My husband got steak, ribs, and his sides. I got ribs and sides , his steak was a seriously the best steak I have ever had. My ribs were delicious as well and made a great left over for lunch the next day. The manager popped by our table to ask us how everything was and didnt have a single complaint. Texas road house is the best among the restaurants in Manchester, CT.

Obviously, it only caters for meateaters. Unfortunately, sometimes vegetarians get taken along as part of a group, and there really isnt any attempt to provide for them. The veg plate doesnt offer much that is filling or tasty, and you are surrounded by people shovelling large slabs of meat into their faces. I was forced to eat here, as I was part of a group, but I ended up leaving as hungry when I left as when I arrived. Very dirty restaurant - a server dealt with a spill by just tipping peanuts over it. The floor was filthy and the servers were annoyed when we had to move tables because they dropped our drinks all over us.

Went there the other day with two friends and everything was going well they honored an expired coupon. Unfortunately my steak was way over cooked it was at least medium well and I had ordered rare, when they brought back a new one the manager confirmed it was medium rare and I had to correct that mine was still supposed to be rare but I was too hungry to send it back a second time. My waiter was friendly but clearly upset about his day, we were able to see him in the kitchen throwing things after I sent the steak back. Was slightly uncomfortable and was part of my reason to not send the second one back.

The service have always been good except for one occasion with a lunch order. I explained that I always order the same thing for lunch and this one time it wasnt right and it had things in it I could not eat. Because I didnt live near and could not return it. I called to relay this to the manager. Needless to say he went above my expectation not only did he give me another salad but he also threw in an entree on the house. Now thats great customer service, I give the West Haven, CT Texas Roadhouse an A+ Not only for good food, but for servicing their customers right ;)

Started out good, our waitress was quite friendly but the experience turned unfavorable quickly! Our dinners came out extremely fast which would normally be a good thing G but we were really looking forward to our rattle snake appetizer. When we pointed this out to our waitress she offered to keep the meal warm (under heat lamps-not good for a rare shish kabob!) She then said the appetizer would be "right out". Right out was 7 minutes later. she never addressed the mishap and just wished us a good rest of the weekend d verbally & on the check. Very disappointing visit!!
