Not a very good steakhouse. Ive gone there twice since coming back to the area, mainly because my friends pick it and Im the type to roll with what the crowd wants. Now, Ive traveled all over the country, and eaten at many steakhouses and chains. I go into steakhouses with a higher expectation of their quality of meat and preparation. To add: I am a burger FANATIC! So, my first visit I ordered the usual steakhouse/smokehouse burger a lot of these places have. With the cheese, fried onions, BBQ sauce, etc. I hadnt gone out to eat in MONTHS due to finances, so this meal was sort of a big deal to me. And it turned into a big disappointment. The burger was terrible. The bun looked both doughy and greasy, like it had been buttered up for toasting but never made it to the toaster. The meat was bland, as was everything else about it--I had to douse it in ketchup to get some sort of flavor on it. The fries it came with looked pitiful and werent appetizing. I ate it and dealt with it. But then, on my second trip, I didnt even get a burger. The first one had been so bad, I got some chicken instead. Its pretty impossible to mess up chicken, so it was fine. My friends ordered ribs, and what was sort of off putting to me was, when asked how they liked them, both said "Theyre okay. 99s were better." Sorry, but if other, non-steakhouse chains in the area can out-do you on burgers and ribs, youre dropping the ball. I went to the Chilis next door tonight to get one of their Smokehouse Burgers and was BLOWN AWAY! RIGHT NEXT DOOR you can get better stuff. I havent tried their steaks, but with how pricey it is, and how unimpressive the meals Ive had were so far, I wouldnt want to drop the money on that. The establishment is a mess, which can be expected I guess. Since the peanut thing has always been a part of their atmosphere. Its noisy and the waitstaff were polite, though on the last visit the waitress seemed to be doing whatever she could to inch away from our table. Honestly I wouldnt go back again if it were up to me. Lucky for them I may end up in it if my friends want to go back. I can tell you if you want a better burger that both looks more appetizing and actually tastes delicious, go 50 yards next to it to the Chilis.

Favorite steak restaurant in the area!!! I absolutely LOVE steak of all kinds but my favorite is prime rib which is served in three different sizes and Texas Roadhouse serves a tasty prime rib for a fair price that is generally lower than any other steak joints around. Two of my other top favorites are the strawberry margaritas which although giant in size, have just the right amount of tequila, and my favorite appetizer is the fried pickles which are something that I recommend everyone try at least once. I personally love the atmosphere of the restaurant with all of the Texas-style memorabilia on the walls, decorating the place and the loud country music. Texas Roadhouse is great for a group of people or family looking for a fun get together or beginning to a night out but maybe not the best place for a few people looking for a place to relax and unwind or people that do not like loud and busy environments. As for the service, I have gone there many times and only a couple times have had a less than positive experience with my server or host(ess), usually the server and wait staff are friendly and have energetic personalities and are quite knowledgeable about the menu. I go to this restaurant on a regular basis and will continue to go to this restaurant whenever Im in the mood for a steak.

I have only been to the one in Portsmouth NH before this one. In NH, had no problems whatsoever and the food was GREAT! Yesterday in MA; not so good. First, the food was fine, I cannot complain about anything I ate, the problem seemed to be the service. I dont like mushrooms but the steak tips are very good so I asked if it could be prepared without the shrooms. No problem said our waitress. The order arrives WITH the shrroms and as the waitress puts the dish down, she notices the fungi. Oh! I told them no mushrooms, I can take it back. No problem, I can easily remove them to a side plate. When we placed our order, I asked for a half rack of ribs, no sides, to go. When she came and asked if we wanted dessert, I inquired about the ribs. Oh, they should be ready soon. We got dessert....no ribs....asked for our check....got check, no ribs...paid check...still no ribs...they should be out anytime. I dont understand why they werent ready at least by the time we paid our bill. We had to wait another 10 minutes for the ribs to come out. This was at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Busy but not a madhouse. Oh well. Certainly wont stop me from going to ANOTHER Texas Roadhouse!

My father and I went to lunch after doing some shopping in the area. The whole staff was enjoyable and pleasant upon oue arrival. They let us right in for lunch and we were promptly seated and had a wonderful waitress who was amazing named Savanna. She was refreshingly joyful and entertaining and we kinda wanted to have lunch with her. She offered up her favorites off the menu, and suggestions, and put our appetizer order and drinks right in and before we knew it we had our fresh hot rolls, appetizers, and were still trying to figure out what we wanted. We settled and ordered... she came back on a pretty routine basis to check on drink levels, refills, and see if we needed additional items. Savanna was a gem and worthy of some sort of accolades from the management. Thank you for making our lunch enjoyable Savanna. Also the food was all delicious and we had no complaints on anything at all... stop by and have a meal great place, great food, and superior service.

I initially walked in and it was VERY crowded and there was a fifteen minute wait, however once seated (asked for a booth instead of a table), we were immediately waited on, drink orders were taken, and then our order for appetizers and entrees. One of my sides consisted of a Caesar salad and I asked for it to come out before the food (I was hungry lol) and it did and I expected the appetizers to be right out behind it. However, not even ten or fifteen minutes later, ALL of the food came out together, even the appetizer, and the waiter apologized profusely, and I said, "No biggie" which it REALLY wasnt an issue. We didnt wait long at all. The food itself was all piping hot and good; waiter checked on us often without being annoying, properly refilled our drinks, and even provided boxes and bags for our leftover "to go" food. Honestly, considering the crowd, it was phenomenal service. I would definitely go again.

Love this restaurant. It left me spechless service was outstanding from the greeter to the end these crew is on point they knew everything a new customer expects to learn about the restaurant and u can tell its very genuine. Smiles all the way. I recommend this place to everyone who loves steaks and off the bone ribs. I cant say enough well yeah I can our server name was Juhi and shes amazing the atmosphere its welcoming. Food delicious, hot my compliments to the Chefs and the drinks phenomenal. Did I mention that everything is made from scratch here. And u can choose the steak u want u can see and pick the one u really want who does that. Only Texas Roadhouse. I will be back. I love this place.
