My family and a group of friends recently attempted to dine at FennAgains in Hebron, CT. It was the worst experience that I have ever had at a restaurant. We could not get seated for about 30 minutes, even though there were empty booths. After being seated, it took over 20 minutes for the waitress to take our drink orders. Because of the long wait, we ordered both food and drinks at the same time.Again, another 20 minutes before we even saw a glass of water. After eventually receiving our drinks, it took another 25 minutes for our burgers to arrive. Seriously? When asked about the delay, the waitress shrugged and said it was not her fault - "blame the kitchen". After that remark, she left and we were left with food, but she failed to bring utensils or napkins. She was apathetic, not uttering an apology when she finally brought the needed items. I would not wish this experience on anyone and will never return to this establishment. Restaurant management should be made keenly aware of the lack of concern and overall pitiful service on the part of the waitstaff. Food is decent - regular pub food- but it is definitely not worth the aggravation. Unfortunately, our night out turned into one that we will remember, but for all the wrong reasons.

Ambience is faux Irish...tacky really, a few posters and a string of Tullamore Dew signs. It feels nothing like an Irish pub, in fact, its closer to a seaside seafood joint. Menu is American and not really "Irish" enough - nightly specials (one) and maybe 1/3 of the menu. Some items are "Irished up" by adding corned beef, sauerkraut and Russian dressing - essentially putting a reuben on something, which is an interesting choice since that sandwichs origin is NOT Irish. A separate burger menu includes some great sounding, unusual burgers which we didnt try. Help was appropriately attentive...there when you need them but not overbearing. Food was excellent. We had Irish Potato Skins (yep), shepherds pie and fish and chips. Each was delicious. Good beer selection. Overall, we were disappointed that decor and menu were more American than Irish, but what we had was excellent.

I wish we had a better experience... while the food was actually good, and the service was good, we were disappointed that the menu wad limited due to the time we arrived. We went there at 9pm after helping some friends in the area. The menu was about 10 different options, mostly fried food. Onion rings, chicken wings, mozz sticks, chicken tenders, French fries etc. The wings were good, very meaty and there was about 20+ flavors. While we were there, another 4 or 5 families showed up who were equally disappointed about the menu choices. I am willing to give them another chance as this is a very small town and it was a weekday. One thing I would suggest to the owner, is to remove the "specials" board when you are serving the limited menu because the burger that was advertised looked really really good.

My boyfriend and I try to visit FennAgains at least once a week. The food is amazing, especially the Mango Habanero wings that would put even the best wings around to the test. The nachos, onion rings, and the Reubens are definitely worth trying, you will not be disappointed. The Staff is absolutely wonderful, especially the Thursday night bartender Jeannine (sp) she suggests new things for us to try and is always happy to see us :) We always feel well looked after and appreciated by the entire staff and we will remain loyal customers!

Love this place, Irish Nachos and Rubens are fantastic. They usually have a huge tap list with lots of good local options. Service is attentive and always ready to offer helpful food and drink recommendations. If youre in the area check this place out, if youre not in the area, check this place out, you will not be disappointed.

Started off we ordered drinks and instead of getting a milk we got a chocolate milk. Then we ordered the classic nachos and got Irish nachos. The service was SLOW!! They either need more help or less tables! Over all the food was good. Dont go unless you have an hour or so to sit.

Awesome place! Really appreciated the seperation between bar and dining area. Truly family freindly for everyones needs. Super menu selections to included a few items for the adventurous (peanut butter and beacon burger...very yummy). Would recommend fennagains to everyone.

Bad food. Worse service. Loud environment. I have been in five times to give them a fair try. Waited forever, waitress rolled her eyes at me, food was burnt on one occasion. Called in an order and got hung up on. Not a nice place.
