Solidly good food, good service, nice atmosphere, family restaurant (expect to hear a crying baby here or there), clean - overall we liked it and would definitely come back. My wife and our two young daughters had dinner here at 5 pm on a Sunday night. The place was busy. We were immediately seated and brought our drinks. The place had a very large selection of 90% asian and maybe 10% "american" dishes. I think the food was overall very good. The prices were very reasonable - $13.95 for adults, $4.95 for my 5 year old and $7.95 for my 9 year old. This restaurant makes sushi on demand so you go up to the guy in the back and order from a set list and he makes it up fresh right then. This same guy is also working the hibachi bar and the raw bar, so he might get a little overloaded. I ate plenty of fresh oysters, 8 pieces of sushi rolls and 14 pieces of sushi / sashimi, I thought it was not bad at all and the wait time for the guy to get it done was totally reasonable. Another note, everyone in this restaurant was busting it, from the cooks to the sushi guy to the busboys and the waitresses, these guys were working hard. As for the waitress who didnt speak english maybe the other reviewer might use a little common sense and realize this is a highly ethnic restaurant where the folks were born elsewhere and are working their backsides off to stay here.

The food here I have to say is very good. The service is attentive. It is a buffet, they dont bring you food. They refill your soda and clear your dirty plates away. Ive been there for dinner many times, food is very good, they have many shrimp dishes and the crab legs, too. Go at a busy time to ensure turnover/replacement of food. Sushi, I believe although I dont indulge, and the cook at the counter will prepare steak/salmon/shrimp to order on the grill. Run by same owner as Imperial at Kohls/Lowes plaza in Plainville. I believe a restaurant should be judged on roughly 60% food quality, 25% cleanliness, and 15% service. Perhaps a little empathy would be called for here in the case of the "hovering" waitress looking for a tip, considering that she probably owes TENS of thousands of dollars to the individual who arranged for her to come here from China. I am betting shes not saving her dollars to go the mall to buy a tshirt that has the word "princess" in rhinestones across her chest. Shes literally saving her money to buy her freedom. She is probably trying to learn English as well, so please take that into consideration. If you do have a service problem, I would bring it to the attention of the manager.

This place is fantastic. First you are greeted by a bridge that crosses the fish pond. Very entertaining. The buffet is great. One counter of desserts, one counter of cold salad bar type items (with peel & eat shrimp), one just for soup, one for chinese style appetizers and about 4 more of assorted entrees and side dishes. WIDE variety. Sushi station and grill station in the back. Good quality. Service is exactly what I expect from a buffet. Provided me with cutlery, extra napkins, the soft drink I ordered and removed my used plates. Prices are decent for the variety of items offered. Definately recommend going when its busy to ensure high food turnover.

The food here I have to say is pretty good, but the service and waitstaff are AWFUL. They always hover by the table and wait for a tip, and then stare at the check after you give it back to them. My friend and I went this past week, and she didnt leave a tip because the service was poor. The waitress took the money and actually ASKED for a tip. My friend responded that it was incredibly rude to ask for a tip, and the girl continued to stand there and stare at us. This place is not worth it, even if the food is good!

The sesame chicken wasnt even chicken but fried fat covered in sweet sauce. Nasty. Staff was absolutely so invading of privacy. They practically watch over your shoulder to see when youll finish and when they give you the checkbook, they wait right there to give them the money instead of coming back. Good service, but not a relaxed sort of atmosphere. They really rush you. Overall, I would not suggest this place to anyone. There are much nicer Chinese buffets in CT.

This is a hometown favorite when it comes to Chinese Buffet(s). The staff is very clean and efficient. They are able to moneuver quite well in order to help the patron have an enjoyable experience. A wide variety of food options to choose and they are always try to make sure their serving areas are well stocked with delicious mouth water goods. This is a place to check out if you are in the town of Berlin; Connecticut in the United States of America! Cheers!!

Its first time we went there, its much better than we expected! Its clean, has much better sitting area than most Chinese buffets. Has very good food. Awesome real Chinese vegetables, fruits are very fresh, has very traditional desserts. Sea food is good too! I am not meat person, so I didnt try meat. Will be back!

For a Chinese Buffet, they have all the good elements we want, raw oysters cracked right in front of you, and crablegs. Saw some posts about bad service, but all the workers there seemed nice to me. Food was pretty darn good, and definitely one of the best chinese buffets I have been to (And I have been to a lot)

Food and prices are good, the waitress cant communicate with clients in English and they dont know how to make drinks. Never order kamikaze drink because you will get full glass of vodka with tonic...overall this place is nice and clean and watch out for the lady whos sitting at the front desk...shes mean.

This is my daughters favorite buffet location, now her palette is not that refined yet but I would rather take her here than McDonalds. For me the food...Average, the service... Non-existent. There was nothing that stood out good or bad either way, just 1 in a 1000ish buffet locations in Connecticut.
