My favorite Indian food in America, hands down. From the moment they opened their doors I was there, and I continuously come back for more. The bright, beautiful decor, efficient, friendly staff, and amazing food.. My favorite things to get: Ketel 1 mango martini (the BEST) Andhra chili chicken: love at first bite. The heat is intense, but complex as well. The spices waltz across your palate, culminating in a dizzyingly delicious sensation that makes you scoop up more and more. Tip: if you can take it, ask them to make it extra extra spicy: YUM! Salli Boti: a creamy, almost sweet flavor that balances the spices. My favorite lamb dish. The gravy from this goes with everything, especially the Kakori Kebab. Murgh Shahi Khorma: wonderfully mild, but flavorful and comforting as well. The sauce from this goes well with everything, too. Chicken Tikka: a delicious, healthy dish we always order. The boneless, skinless chicken breasts are tender, juicy, and slightly charred for a wonderful grilled experience all year long. Raita: creamy, cool, amazing. I dont even make my own at home anymore! Mulligatawny: sooo smooth, so well blended. I always have them put a spoonful of brown basmati rice in the bottom: its a nice, hearty surprise. Poondu Rasam: the most amazing spicy soup ever to be made. Take one home and let it sit in the fridge overnight: the layers of flavors astounds me every time. Chicken Kati Roll: hands down my immediate desire whenever anyone mentions eating a "wrap". Delicately but well spiced, filling without being heavy, and full of yummy veggies and tons of chicken breast. Their tandoori chicken has been the subject of many recent cravings, and its always delicious; half of a chicken cut into four pieces, and cooked so perfectly it heats up in the oven two days later and its still juicy! Mango lassi: we always order about 4 of these for just the two of us, and then ration them over the next two days. The best lassi Ive ever had the pleasure of consuming. Tandoori Roti: while the naan selection is without reproach, this is my favorite bread ever. Its light and chewy, and whole grain healthy. I love dipping this into the Mulligatawny soup.. Garden Salad: fresh, clean, and a uniquely spiced dressing with a slight tang. If you opt for the grilled shrimp, prepare yourself for an explosion of mouth happiness with tender, perfectly cooked seafood. Rasmalai: Im drooling just thinking about it. The best dessert. Gulab Jamun: light, airy, slightly chewy, and an incredible, layered honey-sauce. I wish I could recreate this.. Again, these are just a *few* of our favorites. I highly encourage you to explore other items yourself!

My husband and I recently had dinner (not for the first time!!) at Coromandel Restaurant in Orange, CT. The owner was there and, as always, he greeted us graciously. We always feel very welcome and comfortable in this beautifully decorated restaurant. The staff are ever polite and attentive. But we come not for the attractively colored walls and lighting fixtures, though they add warmth to the atmosphere, but for the exquisite meals. Weve tried numerous offerings over the years and all were delicious. Although we have our favorites (chicken tikka marsala and tandoori chicken for me), I couldnt resist trying the lamb chops on the specials of the night. The eight little rib chops were so tender and perfectly set off by orange sections in a delectable sauce. The serving was large so I took the remaining home. My dessert of coconut flan topped the meal off nicely. We often bring friends here, especially if they are from out-of-town. They declare the restaurant top rate. So do we. Its the best Indian restaurant and is very successful!!

Word cannot express how good a job they did for my daughters wedding on June 12th, 2016. We had a Dosa party at home on June 10th, 2016 and all the guest at the party were amazed at home how great the food tasted and with how much love they prepared the food with. They also careered the wedding dinner on June 12th, 2016 and again all the guest gave us compliments on choosing this caterer as the food was very delicious and was just made to perfection. The owner Mathew was just great to deal with and so was his wonderful staff. My daughters new in-laws and their friends and family were very impressed with choice of this caterer by us. I will and would recommend them without any reservations(but make sure to reserve them in time). THEY SURPASSED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS. Thank you so much for making our event a grand success Mathew Jacobs and the whole staff at Coromandel in Orange, CT.

5.0 star rating 3/15/2017 I am glad to say that Coromandel in Orange is my favorite Indian restaurant so far in United States. Their service is impeccable, variety of options in menu is rich, ambience is top notch and above all, food is very delicious. This place has become my usual dine out place and I should admit that I trust them like no other place as they always make us feel like they are serving the best quality food. Weekend buffet here is awesome. I am yet to try their weekday buffet and weekday lunch options but I am sure those will be equally good too. We have ordered the food here for a catered event recently and the feed back we got from our guests made our day. My husband loves their meat main course options (especially beef coconut fry) and my personal favorites are gobi manchurian, bagara baingan, malai kofta.

All I can say is wow! So I stay at a hotel in Milford and see this place on Grub hub with free delivery. I must say I was a bit skeptical (Free delivery on Indian food is rare and generally not that good) but I was in the mood for Indian. The driver shows up in formal attire with a hot box and was even 30 minutes early. Then I sit down and eat and was blown away! I had the Tawa Ruyyali for appetizer which is Jumbo Shrimp and Crabmeat (and a lot of it)with spices and herbs. By far one of the best Indian dishes I have ever had. Then I get to the Chicken Vindaloo. One of my favorite dishes but usually not spicy enough for me. Not this place! Very spicy and extremely tender. I will definitely be back for more times to come!

Ive been coming here about 2 years since I moved to CT. The food is Delicious, Fresh and very well prepared. My friend and I usually do the lunch buffet, which is a great way to see exactly what you like (sample different dishes) for an Excellent price. The owner Matthew and the entire staff are so friendly, happy, accommodating and really make it a great experience to dine there. Since I ventured out away from the buffet for once, I was ecstatic to find out they have and label parts of the menu GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!!!! EVEN A TORTI (bread) IS GF!! YESSSSS!!!! SO HAPPY!! Love it there!!!! ~Danielle

Best Indian food around! The Tikka Masala is amazing, they provide the most polite and best customer service. Even though we mostly get take-out, every time I step into Coromandel Orange, it is immaculate and I am always greeted right away. If my order isnt ready sometimes when I arrive early, the manager always places something delicious infront of me, without question or charge, to hold me over and keep me coming back! THANKS COROMANDEL ORANGE! :)

Awesome dishes in the buffet. Special mention - they served sweet Pongal on Tamil Pongal day. Sizzling Tandoori and dosa served right at your table for buffet. For Valentines they served chocolate dipped strawberries. They even serve delicious mango salad in the buffet spread some days. Ambience is nice. Apparently we visit often, and so far, highly satisfied.
