On my 30th birthday dinner I went here with 6 people. Everything was good, our server was a little stressed though. We overheard the owner tell her that we needed to be off our fine dining table at a certain time. And that was kind of upsetting to hear since we are paying the big bucks at the place, fine dining isnt to be rushed. Then we spoke to the owner that we overheard her say that, and we thought it was unprofessional. Then our entrees came and I got the Pompano Fish. It was fishy, bad texture and not good at all. Everything else was really good though. Our server never came back to the table to see how we were, so I didnt eat any of my entree, I had bites of my friends and familys, plus I had appetizers so I wasnt starving. When I told the server about the fish she said sorry, and I thought that was that. We had dessert, blew out candles, had Port Wine and then got our bill. My husband paid with a credit card and then when it came back to sign we noticed that they didnt take off the bad fish entree. So I talked to the owner and she went crazy, and said that she will give me another entree, and said all kinds of other weird things. But we had dessert already. Why would she offer another entree at that point??? So she stormed off. It was time to leave, I expected her to come back and take off the fish, she didnt. So I asked for her again to please take the fish off the bill. She told me to get out of her restaurant or she would call the cops. I told her I didnt do anything wrong and all I wanted was my fish refunded. She proceeded to grab me by the arms and then pushed me and said to get out of her restaurant. I walked to the exit and started crying because of what happened. My husband and father we so infuriated that they called the police. In the end the police came and went into the restaurant to speak with the lady and then asked if I wanted to press charges. I declined. It was the weirdest dining experience of my life, and it was on my 30th b-day, one I will never forget. And by the way, I never got my fish refunded.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Vail - we had an amazing dinner, the suggested wine pairings were incredible and the french cuisine could not have been better. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly excellent french dining experience! Weve lived in the valley for over 15 years so our recommendation is solid and true.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The best meal in Vail in 4 nights! Lovely setting. The reach of lamb, snails, onion soup, and Pepper steak were all fantastic. It was a bit pricey but worth it. If that wasnt enough, and it was, they included a salad between courses and a small sweet plate after the meal!

A very disappointing experience given all the good reviews Ive read. PRESENTATION was nonexistent. Salad was sloppy and wet. Portions were huge (very un-French-like). No one really knew the wine list well. And while Im at it, it was hotter than Hades and the lighting awful.
