Let me tell you a little something, as I was an employee here. Jhimy, the manager, is a sexist man. He doesnt like hiring males because they are "lazy, unorganized, and dirtier." Any tips given, go to the kitchen. Those of us who work up front, get a dollar an hour for tips. The kitchen make about $3 more per hour plus tips. We make about $9 an hour plus the dollar tip. Jhimy hired a 14 year old who they pay under the table. Anyone who works up front is in charge of drinks, orders, and cleaning the entire restaurant except the kitchen and dishwashing section. Reminder, there is only one of you. If the honey or chocolate syrup is low, he has us microwave the bottle over and over until there is absolutely none left. None of the deserts are fresh. He makes them in huge batches and only once every few weeks. If that.. I cannot stress enough how cheap, and how inconsiderate the manager is. I highly recommend not going there. It felt more like slavery than a welcoming environment. Also, the womens restroom looks like the walls are falling down. It has been that way for more than six months.

It used to be much better. I just finished a chicken salad salad: the chicken looked and tasted like it was from a can, rather than prepared here (YES, they used to, and the OCC & Downtown locations still do!); the salad was swimming in dressing. I certainly hope this location starts practicing quality, rather than trying to be different from the siblings restaurants.

As a person who avoids chain restaurants, (Who needs corporate guaranteed standardized blah?). I find that La Tartine food is fresh and bright, unparalleled by the likes of the chain places. If you want a leisurely lunch, I suggest you try this place.

I was disappointed. The onion soup was way too salty, it was more beef broth with cheese and I couldnt feel the onion, the beef bourgignon also was salty and the vegetables were overcooked. It is not a bad place, but I wont go back in a long time.

Consistently great food. Always fresh. Always delicious. Good staff, although you are on your own after receiving your food. Sort of half cafeteria style, half restaurant style. You cant go wrong with the beef bourginione!

You cant beat the $6.75 weekday breakfast menu for lunch. Why spend that much on fast food ever!? Their Eggs Benedict is my personal favorite. If you can spare the additional expense, definitely get an eclair for dessert.
