I really enjoyed this hole in the wall Hawaiian restaurant, and it was a great find after just landing in Colorado. They have two portion sizes for meals, regular and mini, and to be honest, the mini is the perfect size for being satisfied and not overly full. I ordered the mini sized portion of the Honey Garlic Chicken which had a scoop of rice and the delicious macaroni salad, and I also added an order of the Spam Musubi. The food was so good and very inexpensive. The restaurant is small but has plenty of room for seating. The restaurant is relatively clean, and when we came for an early lunch (around 10:45ish) there was only one person working the restaurant. She was doing the cooking and taking the orders both from the phone and walk-ins. I felt bad for her, and didnt complain that our food took a little time to come out. We werent in a hurry anyways, and it was well worth the wait. Fortunately, right around the start of peak lunch time, two other people came to help her out. I definitely recommend this place if youre passing through the area and want a taste of Hawaiian food. It seems like the locals come through here quite often.

To start the shrimp was fried with the shell on. Who in the hell actually does that? On the menu they say they serve Mahi Mahi. That was not Mahi Mahi, nor was it ona which might have been a suitable replacement if someone was being honest about it... That was dry, flakey and white Talapia. Pre breaded if I didnt know any better! Gross! Nothing was seasoned. Bland, boring, waste of time. Ive taken multiple trips to Hawaii and this is nothing even close. Disgusted and to tell you the truth insulted. If a restaurant cant be honest with you about what theyre putting in your mouth they really dont deserve to be in business. It was in a run down strip of shops, dirty and gross. I will never go back. Ever. If you want semi decent Hawaiian BBQ drive down to Aurora and get L&L... At least they wont lie to you about what theyre feeding you.

I never write bad reviews, but I really dont know HOW this got a 4 star rating. I came here based on other peoples reviews thinking I was going to get some good ethnic hawaiian food. I was pretty surprised what I found. The chicken tasted old, chewy and fatty. Almost everything was fried, and the rice was bland and tasteless, with no seasoning or sauce, just sticky white rice. The kitchen was questionable. The Kitchen chefs had no hair nets, didnt use gloves, and were touching other things while touching food. You have been forewarned .

MM Its ok. Friendly service, small portions. Good mac salad and rice. Had the laulau plate i was underwhelmed. Got a free malasada. Very tasty. Hole in the wall place. Went back a year later. Had the Honey garlic chicken. It was delicious. A great alternative in the Denver area to L&L. Reasonable prices, decent portions, face and friendly service. A hidden jewel in Thorton. I will have to go again since I work near it.

Absolutely loved this place. We were just in town for a little bit and found it based on previous reviews. I love Hawaiian food and this was one of the best I had ever had. The Loco Moco was especially good. My wife had the Chicken barbecue plate and she thoroughly enjoyed it. My one complaint is the Mac salad was a little flavorless. Otherwise, it is a great place to grab a quick plate lunch.

I really like this place the owners are wonderful. But the little girls they have running the place are awful at service. I came here a half hour before thier sign says they close the sign says 8pm. I came at 7:30. They wouldnt serve me if you come. Come before 6. Im sooo mad I really wanted aloha.

Great food but they refuse to answer the phone. Some of us only have so much time for lunch and would like to place take out orders, is that too much to ask? Its Oct 14th 1215 i walked in and no customers, two employees up front talking, no reason not to pick up the phone.

This place is a total dive, but the food is delicious, the people are nice and the price is right! We had a mini Kalua Pork, Combo BBQ plate and gravy fries. It was enough to feed 2 adults and 3 little kids. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh. Well be back, Aloha.

The food taste good and the people working there or nice. But they have a ridiculous rule that you have to pay $10 or more to use a credit card and everything costs under ten bucks.

What a great find! This place is up there with L&L Hawaiian BBQ. I always go with the BBQ short ribs and its always good. Fast and friendly staff. Food is great, cant ask for more.

Omg! Best Hawaiian food in Colorado. Weve tried all of them and this family owned and operated super hole-in-the-wall is hands down the best. Try the kalua pork for sure. Aloha!

Lived in Hawaii before Colorado. This place got the food right. Exactly like I used to have on the island of Oahu. My new favorite place.
