Smokin fins, I dedicate these words to your cedar smoked bison burger. Here goes - At first sight I knew we had chemistry. When you touched my lips love was conceived. Fast chewing turned into slow motion trying to get my bearings of what was happening. It was a moment I was trying to freeze in time. Smoked cedar and medium rare bison meat doing a dance to my tastebuds. Focus Justin, youre writing a review about food... Ok. Regrouping... I didnt know where to go from this point. Its like the holy grail of burgers was discovered - of Denver burgers, of bison burgers, of burgers for all mankind offered anywhere in the country. Who else has discovered this? Am I alone? I could have started from the begging with our sushi rolls that were over the top good but all is a loss when you forge ahead for this bun-less animal on a wood plank. The staff is always friendly, the drinks are always refreshing, and the happy hour is a must. Did I mention the bison burger??? The Mac n cheese are tasty enough for any brave soul willing to face a food coma next morning. In hindsight - split it with 4 people to remove the guilt and foreknowledge of the morning coma. Keep it tasty my friends.

We went here for a mothers day dinner at the request of my wife. On Google it said that you could make a reservation, however after calling we found that to be false. When we showed up they said we could wait 25 minutes for a table where you could use a high chair for our infant or get seated right away in a raised booth but the high chair would not reach the table. We decided to keep him in his car seat and take the booth right away. Service was very fast and the lobster tater tots were amazing! The server accidently gave me the incorrect order but they were quick to bring out the right one. The manager came out, apologized and offered my entree for free! Great service. My wife ordered the California Roll and she said it was one of the best she has ever had. I ordered the enchilada stack, it was mildly spicy and quite delicious. Two critiques, the narrowness of the booths and it was louder than expected. It would have been more comfortable had they been a little bit wider. Overall, fantastic service and good food. I would recommend checking this place out!

We went there because they advertise that they specialize in fish and that they are experts - it was a birthday and we wanted great fish! Its a bar. No separate restaurant. Its a TV bar. So loud you cant hear yourself think let alone converse. We had a table of 6. It was impossible to talk to anyone other than the person directly across the table, and then we were yelling. Food is ok, but nothing that youd go out of the way for, or recommend to someone else. Ive had very fine seafood in dozens of cities around the US and abroad. This place would never make anyones list. The scallops were chewy. Servings are very small, and come with some kind of drizzle, but no sides. My sons dish was a tiny serving - good thing we had ordered appetizers. They dont make sushi. They try, but it aint sushi. The best thing at our table was a fish sandwich - for about 4 times what it would cost in any other bar. Very expensive place indeed. Staff was friendly. If you like watching TV, then sit at the bar and enjoy.

i read about the food reviews online and couldnt wait to go in and try this place, i heard it gets very busy so we tried to get there earlier than the dinner rush. It took about 15 minutes to get a table although the hostess quoted us 45-55 minutes. When they text us our table was ready i walked up there and I pleasantly said, wow that was a lot quicker than 45-55 miinutes. She looked at me strange and said I can make you wait the full time if thats what you want? The hostess was extremely rude as soon as we walked in, i asked for her name, she said it was Molly and got very defensive. What an awful greeting experience and what a terrible way to start the meal. Food was very good, fresh tasting sea food, salmon was great on a wooden plank and the calamari was very tender. They had a great tasting beer it was called sugar something or other. Everything was great minus MOLLY, she was so rude and almost made us leave.

Mediocre food, poor to average service. Hostess grossly underestimated our weight time and repeatedly told us the same line as we asked for updates, total wait time ~1:40, initially 1 hr. Saturday night I get it but be honest and sincere. Food was at good price, my wife had sushi and Calamari - was good but not Sushi Den. I had the Kalaua Pig (pulled pork.) I should know better ,being from Kansas City, to have high expectations from CO BBQ. The BBQ sauce was great but the pork was over cooked and dry, being drowned in BBQ made it tolerable. The atmosphere can best be compared to a night club/concert venue, so loud it was difficult to talk with someone across the table. Overall 1:40 mins wait, mediocre food and reasonable prices, 30 min dinner and out the door as fast as possible.

Smokin Fins is not a great name. It has kept me from trying this place. The sign is ugly too. Those are the only negatives for this place. The inside is decorated beautifully (does not go with the sign one bit). The food is outrageously great. Lobster tater tots are the best tots in America. Yes, I said America. Sushi rolls are fantastic as well. Burgers are juicy and delish. Everything tastes fresh and is presented well. I have an affinity for lobster items and they have rolls, tots, a stack, Mac n cheese and others. Basically a lobster item or 2 on each part of the menu. Smokin Fins is in downtown Littleton so park wherever and its an easy walk. They do have a lot in back. I cant believe how good it is.

Wow... Food was great. Me and a bunch of my coworkers came in a couple of Wednesdays ago. Service... EXCELLENT! The live music was hard to bare though. The band called Steady Rush sang so loud and so off tune it ruined the great atmosphere and potential this bar had. I was chatting up the couple next to me at the bar and that was their same opinion. I figured, lets change this up and walked up to the band to request a song. I tipped them to try to get them excited (it was obvious they didnt want to be there). The singer (brunette gal) told me "please dont insult us with your lousy requests" REALLY?! Im a customer trying to have a good time.. I wont be returning and neither will anyone from my firm. Sad....

We just came here for the first time, and this place is absolutely amazing. It has just earned a spot on our Denver Top 10. We tried the Habanero pork "wings" and the lobster stuffed avocado as appetizers. Holy s#&t , were they awesome. As entrees, we got the lobster mac and the shrimp and scallop enchiladas. These were unbelievable. Also, try the Mountain Mule. Seriously one of the best mules in Denver. The service was outstanding. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu and to show this place off to out-of-towners!
