I was traveling through Woodland Park, Co and wanted to pick up a couple of pounds of sliced beef at a BBQ restaurant. When I asked for this, the kid behind the register had me wait. He came back to say they do not sell meat by the pound, only by the sandwich or the plate. OK, Ill take 2 one pound plates. Sorry, we are out of sliced beef. Do you have chopped beef. Yes. Well, Ill take 2 lbs of that on a plate. Sorry, you can only get it on a sandwich. Well, first, we cant eat much BBQ sauce (msg causes migranes - we only wanted the smoked meat) How much BBQ sause do you use? Only a little bit. Could you dip a spoonful and let me see it? No, the meat is premeasured so all sandwiches weigh the same amout. I just gave up and left. I would not recommend this place at all.

A co-worker of mine told me about this great BBQ place in Woodland Park and my wife and I were not disappointed. The food is great and the service is good. The atmosphere reminds my wife (a Texas native) of great BBQ restaurants back in the Lone Star state. She loves the brisket because it doesnt have much fat. If you go in on a Saturday evening be prepared for the service to be a little slow. This is because the place is packed and the staff is doing their best to trot out the ribs as fast as possible. I would recommend this restaurant to all the carnivores passing through the area.

Had breakfast, they offer a larger portion ham & 3 egg any style breakfast, sunny side up eggs cooked to perfection, traditional hash browns, limited toast offerings of white, wheat, raisin or biscuit, the biscuit was good. Downfall for me: Asked for a fresh jalapeno pepper, they only offer pickled jalapeno slices. They also dont offer pork green chili, service was sub-par, I tried to pay with my phone (Samsung Pay) = cashier / waitress said they would only accept a physical credit card or cash with only explanation being their choice:(

My husband and I had dinner at Circle H Smoke House this past Friday night. I had the soup and all you can eat salad bar. I was pleasantly surprised with how fresh and crisp the lettuce and all of the toppings were. Great spread too! The soup of the day was Clam Chowder and that ended up being excellent as well! My husband had a nice b-b-q sandwich and fries which he enjoyed as well. Our server was friendly and attentative to our needs. Overall it was a great experience and excellent value. We will return!

The place was busy with what seemed like one server on a Friday night. Its a seat yourself restaurant and figure out on your own who to pay (hint: look in the back for a cash register). The food was decent and fair portion sizes but it was hard to get the servers attention because he was so busy. I overheard the server talk trash about a co-worker to a customer. That was VERY distasteful and will prevent me from returning. We all have bad days at work and lazy co-workers but that is not necessary.

Ive never had ribs, but my husband loves them. We went to Smokehouse for the Saturday night all you can eat rib special. I had nothing to compare them to, but I ate like Id never eaten meat before..........they were amazing. The sides items were very good too and the service was awesome. Our server didnt miss a beat and he was always at our table with another plate of ribs. The price is VERY reasonable too. You wont be disappointed.....give it a try, what do you have to lose?

Underwhelming at best. Most of the meats seem to be "cooked" and not really barbecued/smoked. The flavor came from the sauce that they used to drench all the meat in. The pork ribs were fairly tough, the beef brisket was dry, and the chicken fried steak was downright horrible; it was more breading than chopped steak. What I found to be the worst was the beer prices; $4 for domestic bottles, $4.50 for "imports" like AmberBock.

Worst service Ive had in Woodland park by far. Waited 30 minutes to order and finally just left. Let them know we were leaving and not even an apology was given. Table next to us had been there nearly an hour before they got their food. Let the underage girl I wanted a drink at first let me know shed get someone of age and it took 15 minutes before anyone came back.

The food was OK. Maybe it was an off-night (a Saturday) but the brisket and ribs were very tough and dry. The chicken and sausage was great though. Try the savory churros, we loved those. $7 to add-on their salad bar was not worth it, even though its all you can eat. They didnt have a variety of enough ingredients for $7. All in all, it was an OK experience.

So I wish we had better customer service. This place is obviously really popular, but the ribs were lack luster. Only four ribs to a plate? Did we order off the kids menu?? I think it may have been a one time experience, considering the crowd and Google ratings, but this was my personal experience. Also, would it will you guys to dust a little?

After trying to order three different items and them being out, we finally got to order something.... and the brisket and ribs were good, but everything else was very blah and the sides were terrible. The service wasnt great either. Salad bar was great, just dont expect much from the other food.

Im hesistate to write a review because I dont want to give away our local go to breakfast restaurant but thought everyone deserves to know about the place. It is rustic, priced right, and the place locals eat breakfast. Definitely worth a try - my favorite is the chili breakfast omelette.

I had the steak, and it was ok. The salad bar was ok, but no italian salad dressing, but had several toppings. Its been around a while and a place for the locals. It really has very little to do with "smokehouse" anything. Nothing smoked here. Comfort food seems the prime focus.

So I went into this place today. I explained to the guy that it was my first time in. I placed my order and over 20 mins later I asked about my food. He then said they would start on my order. It was not busy at all. No one apologized to me or anything. I do not recommend this place

Food was decent. Went in about hour before close not to busy on a saturday. Waitress was horrible would of rather been in the back eating pie, didnt tip but if i would of it would of been to the two hostess that were making sure we were taking care of. Possibly will return.

Service was terrible. I ordered baked potato and fish. The baked potato skin was like a piece of leather and the inside was cold. Fish looked like something you buy in the frozen section at the grocery. Husbands ribs were nothing but bone. I donot recommend eating here
