I was a on the hunt for some real good soul food one night and I came across Annointed BBQ and Soul Food. I read all the reviews and thought I need to try this place. I live near DIA so it was a bit of a drive but, I will say it was well worth it. The food is SLAMMIN! I got the smoked beef brisket, collard greens and MAC and cheese. My wife got Ox tails, collard greens and Yams. We both had corn bread and Sweet potato pie. I wish I wouldve taken a picture now that I am writing this to share the greatness. Moe has done it again ..... two very satisfied customers. We will definitely be back.

Holy BBQ Smokes, this places is a true slice of heaven. The food is BEYOND DELICIOUS and the service exceeds anything in the denver area. Hospitality at its best, genuinely caring about each and every persons food experience. Why did it take us so long to find this amazing place. "MO" and his family are continuing a family tradition from his grandmother. I loved reading their families story (on the back of their to-go menus) and how this "lick your fingers" Resturant was established. Thank you for offering your love for good with us, so damn good. Wow!

Absolutely the best bbq and vibe in Denver. The food is delicious and the people running this place are the sweetest most uplifting folks. My new favorite little secert! But not really a secret bc im goig to recomment this place to EVERYBODY. Anybody complaining about the price is crazy! Its denver people and its still not bad i got a rib dinner meal with 2 sides cornbread and a delicious homemade lemonade for $12. And its QUALITY home cooked food! I love this little gem! Lets suppprt mo and his gang and get annointed. <3

This place is awesome! In a world filled with corporate greed, this place is a true original gem that Im happy to spend my money at. Mo is living his dream serving up home cooking! His spirit is generous (donating turkeys for thanksgiving to less fortunate in Denver) , and his smile is contagious. Im a southern girl, and this food is legit! Come support Mo! Neither you or your tummy will be disappointed. Trust me, youll be back for more.

Went here with some friends to celebrate a birthday, and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! The food was PHENOMENAL—best soul food I have ever had! Also, the owner is quite possibly the nicest man on the planet. He gave me and all of my friends free drinks and truly took care of us. He made sure that we were completely satisfied. Moreover, the owners story is amazing! Everyone who visits has to ask him about it!

Try something different every time. We have to go there for lunch at least twice a week. Never disappointed, makes me feel like Im living in the deep south again! This is the best soul food for hundreds of miles, guaranteed. Mo, and everyone else there are a true class act. Always bringing free samples to make your mouth water even more, sitting and talking with you during lunch, getting to know you better. I love these guys!!!!

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. This is the second time multiple items have been forgotten from my order. The register lady is a half wit. When I went back in to get the rest of my food she acted like I never even ordered it. Then they proceed to tell me they are out of said item. Food is okay. Way over priced. Dont bother. If you do have half wit repeat your order and check order before leaving that tiny shack.

Didnt receive an item from my order. They substituted a meal that I paid more for and didnt refund the difference. Said they would give a desert to comp. Desert I guess is a can of coke! Tried calling the restaurant several times to let them know I was missing an item and they never picked up. Food was okay but if you order from them, dont get delivery.

The visit to this restaurant was one of the best parts about my visit to Denver. IM here from Kansas City and if I ever visit Denver again I will always come to Anointed BBQ and soul food. The food was delicious and the owner was amazingly pleasing! Thanks for making our last day in Denver unforgettable.

Been here one time an the Catfish was really good, seasoned well, not dry, very moist. The collard greens were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to friends n family. Defintely the best BBQ place I have been to in awhile. Pricing is fairly reasonable food is outstanding.

The BBQ is good, not great. I tried the ribs and brisket and both were pretty good. The biggest drawback is the price. A friend and I ate lunch there and our meal was $35. Way too much when youre eating with plastic utensils from a styrofoam container.

Great tiny barbecue place with great hospitality, great food, good portion sizes and everything tastes amazing. If youre lucky enough, you might also get a taste of their live music (in the form of the owner singing a tune, and hes quite good!).

This place is a hidden gem! Hands down the best BBQ place in Englewood. Their dinner options are large and inexpensive compared to other BBQ places. The brisket is to die for... moist and tender. A great destination for some authenic soul food.

Friendly staff, great smell. I had the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. Portions were more than adequate, sauces were on par with anyone in the area, and the food was quite good. Not easy to spot, glad we stumbled across it.

The people there were friendly and the food was perfect. I could really taste the love that Mo put into the cooking. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly crisp. There was a good portion of brisket as well.
