Love this place, we are new to the Littleton area & have been before & have had a great time. This time we did not! Went on Wed, July 6th, arrived @ 9:30pm (they close at 10pm) & we were out by 10 :05pm. The servers were very nice, but the Sushi chef made it quite clear he did not like us showing up at 9:30. My 8 year old son & I sat at the Sushi Bar & we could hear the chef complaining that we were there! We ordered immediately & even told the server we would be out quickly knowing that they closed @10. The Sushi chef was cold, indifferent & never spoke one word to us. I work in the fine dining industry & never do we ever let guests know or show disappointment to them if they are arriving near to closing time! Sad to see this in a restaurant that we love to go to! Learn how to better provide customer service! Maybe its a cultural thing.

The sushi is pretty good - as Midwestern sushi goes. Most of the sushi fish appears to have been frozen, but it is clean and prepared to order. The restaurant is mostly clean, but after 30 minutes you will reek horribly of old tempura oil that takes more than one washing to get the stench out. Wear old clothes. The staff is friendly, but do not expect them to respond to any issue you might have. We had an issue with their "rewards" program - every time you order, you get points you can use on later orders. Simple enough, but when our rewards points failed to materialize after several visits, they fell to pieces when we asked about it. After hearing from 4 (four) different employees, no one would even acknowledge that anything was wrong, let alone apologize. That was that. So, good food, smelly restaurant, amateur management.

Sushi Basho - I am picky about my sushi - usually sticking to homemade by people I know and trust. I went to this location in celebration of a friends birthday. Everyone was satisfied. The portions were large. The happy hour was good. The restaurant is small and the selection was broad. The sake/Nihonshu was flowing but I had iced tea. I tried sea urchin. It was very interesting. It literally melted in my mouth in a cold, sort of mucus, cauliflower-tasting way. For raw fish served on rice - Sushi Basho was nothing spectacular. I was bold and experimented with mixed results. Try the sea urchin. Youll be glad you did.

The cooler at the sushi bar must not be working very well because all the raw fish was warm which made it difficult to enjoy. If you like raw fish, go somewhere else. Was also over charged on my bill by $2.00 which was brought to the waitresses attention, she shrugged and said "some of the prices are wrong on the menu" I was still charged the $2.00. Not my problem your menu is priced incorrectly. Update your order sheets or honor them. By the message of the staff it appears this happens all the time. Not for me

Sushi is mine and my fiances absolute favorite food, and we usually dine at very expensive and fancy suhi restaurants. However; we moved to downtown Littleton and stumbled across Sushi Basho and we have never looked back. The service is ALWAYS on point and we go so often now that we are recognized and the chefs sometimes bring us something special on the house. I love this place and reccommend it to anyone looking for great sushi, great service, and great prices all in the same place.

We came here for a fun family night. Immediately the experience was off. The hostess was curt and almost rude when we asked to sit near the aquarium. Noone was waiting to be seated but us, and the restaurant only had 8 other tables seated. It took over an hour to get our rolls (5 ordered). When it was served there was a 10 min wait in between rolls served (3 on one plate, 2 on another plate). The sushi was okay, but definitely bland. We were very disappointed and will not return.

This unassuming restaurant is one of the better sushi places weve been to in terms of the good food and prices. The staff seems perfectly friendly but we found that they really dont have an "above and beyond" attitude and can be hard to communicate with sometimes. Weve gone a couple of times and found the servers dont check in on the tables much and seem to have a slow and casual disposition overall. Service can be pretty slow but, again, no real complaints here.

This is the best sushi joint in Denver. Honestly, I think it beats out the likes of Sushi Den and other more notable spots. The fish is fresh, they always have unique specials and the chefs know their stuff! The staff is all so friendly and helpful, they greet you when you come through the door and bid you a wonderful farewell upon your departure. The J4 appetizer is the most delicious thing you will ever eat and the Yummy roll is just that - SUPER YUMMY!

Sushi is not as fresh as other places. A large purple haze was a few dollars more than most places. Food took forever and there was only two other customers in the whole place (service was slow). When our bill came they added on two drinks and one sushi roll that was not ours. It took forever to sort it out since we could not find our waitress for 20 minutes after our bill came. With so many other sushi places in town, this is not one we will be back to.

After waiting almost 40min for our simple order of spicy tuna roll and shrimp tempura roll we were disappointed in the service and the siz and quality of the rolls. for the amount of time waiting for the subpar sushi we received we will never go back.

Came in on a Saturday night and left very impressed. Sushi was wrapped tightly and cleanly. All the rolls were delicious. Fastest sushi I have ever gotten, we ordered 6 rolls and got them to the table in 10 minutes. Will definitely be back again.

The food was good, but it feels kind of like an old diner with random Japanese stuff thrown all over the place. If you really like sushi you may want to check it out, but this really isnt a place to meet with friends and enjoy a good atmosphere.

Best prices and sushi for price in Denver. I been to a lot Fontana joints and they are similar but not as good. Drink specials are unbeatable, sushi is absolutely great, and the staff are wonderful people. In short, I Really like this place!!

Not a very good place. Service is slow, my drink was made wrong but they did replace it when I told them about it. Prices are nuts for what you get, $4 for 2 tiny little friend spring rolls. They use imitation crab meat in their sushi.

Decent sushi at a decent price! Their lunch specials are great- miso and a roll for a very reasonable price and its good-quality and fresh fish. Dinner is average cost, but the quality of the fish and service is definitely worth it.
