The margarita was excellent. The service was ok . We had a bunch of people that would walk by and just stare at us. There was only one guy that seemed to know English and would talk to us. The food was crap. First of all..... when It came out it smelled...... When though maybe one of us had stepped in dog crap. But then we realized quickly that it was the food. The Burrito Plate in particular . I then got food to go for my room mate..... I got it check out and left. When I got home realized that the only thing they put in the box was a burrito even though I paid for a combination that came with beans, rice, sour cream, and more. Crap, Will never go there again. The best thing was the super strong drinks.

While the food is awesome the service is TERRIBLE! Please tell me when you order chips & queso, who eats it without the chips? NOBODY! Also, if a company orders AT LEAST $60-$100 every time they order, that the restaurant would at least make an ATTEMPT to get the order right every time...?! Please understand this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME we order food. SERGIO the owner of the restaurant doesnt even care, I can say this because EVERY TIME I make a complaint or have to call back and return to get the rest of our order he does NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT!! Just because you have good food doesnt allow you to screw up all the time and give poor customer service, its just wrong!

Menu is extensive and this restaurant has been around for many years. Ive eaten here a few times with my family. My wife had unfortunately a less than desirable experience recently on Mothers Day. Food was fine, however had an underage server that could not take alcoholic drink orders, wait time was 40 minutes to receive food, and two of the three orders were over charged with the dinner price versus lunch special price. This restaurant is always busy when we visit. There are plenty of options on the menu for variety of tastes. Margaritas are great. I rated based on good prior experience and food, but will adjust lower if next experience is again sub-par.

I eat here a lot i love thier burritos. I today ordered a bean and cheese burrito and chips and salsa and was charged 17 dollars plus tip i think this is outrageous it was a to go order but called ahead when i got there my food was not ready which means it should have been hot an fresh when I got home mind you only 2 minutes away my burrito was cold I ordered a medium chips and salsa thinking I would get more chips but instead got a giant container of salsa with not nearly enough chips I am sad to say I probably wont be coming here again 30 bucks for a bean and cheese burrito with no meat and chips and salsa is way too much I would rather go somewhere else.

Good food, decent prices, just dont let them forget about you. Ordered some breakfast burritos (pre made) from the guy at the front counter to go and then was apparently forgotten about. About 5 min later was asked if Id been taken care of, said I was waiting on some burritos. About 5 min after that someone came in and ordered some breakfast burritos and one of the ladies said there were two left and promptly got them for him. Probably could have waited for more to be made but I didnt want to wait longer and was already upset. Lesson learned, speak up sooner. From the other reviews it looks like they need to hire/fire some people.

4/5, Good Molcajete which has Steak/Chicken/Shrimp in a Stone bowl with Potatos/Guac/Sour cream/beans/marinated in a special sauce. The personality of the owner and wait staff can be kind of dry, they always seem like they need to be in a rush but miss simple things like drink refills, etc. The green chile is good usually except some mornings when you order their $2.25 breakfast burrito, the green chile taste like it was reheated from the previous day (very bland). They get a lot of buisness so they should upgrade the exterior mainly with better paint/sign. Along with some upgrades to the interior.

El Mirador is the best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to since I moved to Colorado. Being born and raised in California, I’m quite particular about Mexican food. To be honest, if I had to limit myself to just one cuisine for the rest of my days, it would be Mexican food. I love everything I’ve eaten at El Mirador – Molcajete “El Mirador” Style, Carne Asada, Chiles Poblanos, Carnitas, and don’t even get me started on their salsa. That is one recipe I’d love to have. I’m seriously considering applying for a job there just so I can steal it!

We have been here a few times and food and service are fine BUT last night we took me 89 year old mother who uses a walker. She could barely get into the restroom and needed 3 of us to help her into the stall. Walker wouldnt fit, door wouldnt open far enough for her to get in and find the railing to hold on to. We asked to speak with the manager who quickly dismissed us while we were still speaking, he just walked away!!! Im sure we are not the only ones to experience such frustration with this issue. We will not be going back!!!!

The food is really good (maybe some "mexi-food snobs" would disagree), they are generous with the salsa and chips too. I love dinners here, fajitas are the best that Ive tried in Denver - great taste and generous portions. Never overdone. Weve never waited to be seated and service has always been spot on. Their "skinny margarita" is AWESOME! reasonably priced, large, strong, and lots of salt on the rim. Just how I like them. Ive been there at least 5 times in the last few months. Its now a staple in my family.

Worst experience ever! Dont mind waiting to be seated, however I do mind people being seated before me when I was before them. When I asked is there a reason those individuals were seated first, the girls response, was no reason it was a mix up. Clearly my name was on the list prior to them... They were out of smoked Oyster, and beans, my rice was cold. After all is said and done they charged my card for an order that wasnt mine on top of charging me for my order. Still have yet to see my refund from Sunday.

Stopped by here while my car was being worked on at the garage nearby. Chips and salsa was good and they serve Bohemia, which is a really nice Mexican Beer. I had the Durango style enchiladas as I was craving red chile. Big mistake, they serve these with a red mole sauce that is cloyingly sweet and not all that spicy. More like barbecue sauce. I didnt care for it all. Been afraid to go back as Im not sure I like their interpretation of Mexican food.

Absolutely love this place. Delicious food. All the staff is SO nice. Prices are great. Happy hour is my favorite- 2 for 1 house margaritas and they are the bomb! I always go to happy hour on Friday night. If you plan to go during happy hour, arrive early as this place is busy!! They have gained a customer for life! The only thing I dont like is how small the parking lot is, but Ill illegally park any day for some of that green chili!!
