The food is good. The service is terrible. The servers are constantly busy talking to each other. Anything you need, you have to call them over. When you order, the servers are always uncaring... They never have suggestions and act like they are in a hurry. The two stars are for the food. Zero stars for service. On 7/31 my wife and I went back to eat again. This time the service was fantastic. The staff was the the same and they performed. Every staff member was attentive. The food was even better than I expected. I also highly recommend the churros.

Worst Mexican food every eaten, poor service and even poorer management. Place was dirty. Save your money as you would get better food at Taco Bell, or better yet go to El Tapatio just a few minutes away off of 6th avenue. The food tastes like a Banquet dinner from Safeway. This place when I was growing up in Golden was a Dairy Queen, and the food at that Dairy Queen was a lot better then this food. I would not even serve the food to my pet dog.

I ordered the two for one margarita special which was more of a gimmick then a special. The margaritas were extremely small for the price which was 7 bucks and it tasted like I was just drinking margarita mix, honestly it was the worst margarita I ever had. The salsa wasnt bad and I order the carnitas plate which was mediorce. The only plus I found was that they do serve cheap beer, but I cant say Ill be returning to El Dorado ever again.

Honestly not terrible. Its not Mexican fusion, and its not tex-mex... I dont know what the previous reviewer is so indignant about. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and generally prompt. There was a line to the door this morning for breakfast burritos so service was a little slower. Their green chili is good and we usually get a couple dozen tamales for Christmas and New Years.

Honestly terrible - we received very poor service from a rude staff. The guacamole was inexplicably sweet, and the beef and bean burrito was indistinguishable from a taco bell burrito apart from the fact that it cost nearly ten dollars. The tortillas we were supposed to receive were left out of our order, and overall the food looked and tasted very bland. One star all around.

Goldens little hidden Tex-mex, serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cosy, Good Chili, offers morning take out. pleasant veiws around the Area! The reason for not 5 stars was portions are average for the above average price and bacon was very burnt and asked for over medium Eggs and got very runny! Servers are fast, friendly and they seem to know the regulars well!

You may have to wait a little longer to receive your food but only a minute or two and thats because it comes out fresh and hot. The fajitas were amazing and I could tell that they ingredients were fresh. The staff is very courteous and attentive. Honestly I could not ask for more when it comes to a dining experience.

Crazy slow server and we had to ask three times for water. He forgot what was ordered on our initial drink order (1 drink). Food was bad..tacos had dried out meat and seemed to have been sitting our for awhile. Cheese enchiladas were bad.. cheap cheese. Guacamole is store bought tasting.

Average. I was feeling fancy and ordered their $9 guacamole and felt so jiped. It was that blended stuff you get at the grocery store, not fresh, not good....I should have asked for a refund. The shrimp tacos were okay and the margarita was good. Decent service. I wont be returning.

Your typical Golden Mexican restaurant, but with friendly service. Its nothing fancy. Its tolerable. What do you expect from a Mexican American restaurant. Chances are, you know what your getting if you come here. No fancy atmosphere, a nice patio, plenty of parking.

Friendly service, strong and delicious margaritas. We sat outside and ordered chicken enchiladas and queso dip, both very tasty and big portions. This was a visit for my birthday and it was a great place to celebrate. Will return if we make another trip to Golden.

This is the second time eating here and was very happy with the food. I had shrimp taco and perfect margarita, which I enjoyed. The service was fairly fast. But they did have a difficult time with accommodating a group of 15 during dinner rush.

Have been here 3 times for lunch. What you see in their website menu photos is what you get. Consistent, tasty plates piled with Mexican food. Service has always been very good and the staff very pleasant. Reasonably priced as well.
