Well, I raved about the customer service on Yelp as a frequent customer. Tonight I walked in, no one at the counter, so I took a seat to wait a bit, no worries. Then, right as other customers walk in, the man walks back to the front and starts taking their order. What? So when my turn happened, I informed him that I had come first (waiting 10 minutes for him to come to the register). He replies, "well you were sitting down," yes, WAITING ON YOU. DONT SASS ME. I proceeded to order and he told me to slow down. Never mind, if your employee cant push buttons on a screen or shave his NASTY NECK BEARD, I dont want your food. Get a grip on your employee because I did not deserve this treatment by any means; talking back to a guest in this way is unacceptable.

Went in for a quick lunch. Have not tried Smashburger for a few years and decided to give it another try. BIg mistake. At 12:43 I ordered one burger and one side of frys and at 1:16, they were delivered. I noticed that after I came in, they started informing new customers that the wait was going to be 20-25 minutes. Who waits for this stuff anyway? The food was sub par and I wish I could have just gotten my money back but as I was asking for it from the cashier, they delivered my food. They gave me a coupon towards a free meal on next visit, 1. I dont think Ill be returning ever 2. The voucher isnt worth my time. Will never go again. Even if it is free. Food is like BK

Like other reviews its location specific, we frequent the applewood location and never have issues, but we came here to the park meadows one and the service was deplorable. I watched two people do what I should have done and walk out before getting serviced because of the time it took to take the orders. It seams there was not enough help up front and the back was confused. By the time our food came out the fries were cold and were not smash fries, had I thought they could fix it before I grew a beard I would have brought it up but "aint nobody fo dat"

I love smash burger, but this location sucks, it really does. Went in, ordered to go, and waited; people who ordered after us got their food to go before we did. I specifically ordered "No cheese" because Im lactose intolerant, the clerk went out of her way to inform the cooks, yet I still got cheese on mine, even though the receipt said no cheese as well. On another note the fries had so much oil on them that it was pooling at the base of the container. All said and done I would NOT return to this location. Poor job, smash burger, poor job.

Very disappointed...ordered a chicken sandwich, classic smash and a kids smash. Took a bite of the rubbery chicken sandwich, spit it out and threw away. Wife Scrapped the half cup of mayo off of her bun and ate half of her sandwich. Son took a couple bites of his kids burger and said done. This kid loves burgers. The help wanted for cashiers and cooks is telling of the substandard meal we paid almost $30 for. I hope they figure it out but I would not spend your money here. This wasnt our first visit in, but it will be our last.

My experience for this review was at this location only. Waited in line for 20 min, 15 min for food. When we got the food the bbq burgers did not have bbq sauce, my avacdao sandwich didnt have avacdaos. They did offer milkshakes but didnt have time to stay to get those made. So we were given coupons.......that expired in 2 days. I did like that they had lots of different options for sides. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Maybe Ill try a different location sometime.

Im a long time smashburger fan, but this location is terrible. Three times now at lunch there has been only one person taking orders and carrying food to tables. I cant wait half an hour to have my order taken and another half hour to get my food on lunch break. Today I just walked out before ordering. One time it was the manager juggling these duties so clearly he must be aware of the staff shortage. Hire more people or pay them better so they stick around

Walked in and the place was essentially empty. Sat for 15 minutes waiting for my food. Had to ask where my food was after another table was "accidentally" served my food. Watched food sit under heat lamps for far too long and another table had to ask for fresh fries. Was never apologized to or offered compensation for the inconvenience or the mess up. Luckily the food was fresh. Wouldnt recommend if youre in a hurry.

Been waiting 55 minutes and counting since we ordered and paid. The reason the place was so packed was because of the incredibly slow service. I live within minutes of this location and will not be coming back soon if ever. Employee was rude when asked why service is so slow. The food wasnt very good this time either... dropping my rating for food to poor.

Burgers are great, sides are not. Basically all they offer is fries with other random toppings like garlic or spicy salty powder. Sodium overload not worth the extra dollar thanks. Would prefer better array of sides. You can get a great burger at a lot of places this isnt all that much different to me.

This place is an absolute disaster. The manager James shouldnt be managing this place, nor preparing food. Aside from the fact that this place is extremely inconsistent and dont know how to cook burgers, they just served me raw chicken. Smash Burger should start over at this location. Its a shame.

Love their burgers . Being a vegeterian its hard to find a good burger joint that has veggie options. . Their Black Bean Burger patties Rock . With jalapenos and toppings its out of this world . beware , burgers are a bit greasy ! but they are finger licking good !!

Great quality burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. Side options include Smashfries are great. I havent tried the shakes but hear good things. More fast casual than Red Robin but better food IMO and about 30% less expensive when you factor in tip and all.

The food is pretty good but the last 4 times Ive ordered something at this location theyve gotten my order wrong. They keep forgetting the cheese and sometimes other toppings. And I always get my food to go so I dont realize till its too late. Frustrating.

Food took 20 minutes, which barely left me any time to eat. The only redeeming factor was the shift supervisor James, who was nice, understanding and refunded the fries I didnt have time to eat. He looked really stressed out and I really felt bad for him.

Whenever we visit Denver we make at least a couple of trips to Smashburger and are never disappointed in the quality of the food and service. And we cannot resist having a chocolate malt! We wish there were a Smashburger in Albuquerque!

Poorly run food establishment. After watching food on warming area for 12 min, delivered without shakes and food was wrong. Happily refunded money, thus two stars. Front employee was hustling, just too much to do for one person.
