Got a job there a few months ago and quit after the first day. The lady who was supposed to train me never even showed up, which wouldnt of been that big of a deal if the other employees were equipped to train. Which they werent. They literally just plopped me into the middle of the lunch rush and then got mad when I didnt know what I was doing. The kitchen looked like it hadnt been cleaned in decades. Despite that fact that I was wearing non-slip shoes, I can count on two hands how many times Ive almost slipped and hurt myself in there. Most of the employees were a pain in the ass to communicate with. They were either unclear in their communication, talked down to me if I ever made a little mistake, and then acted like I was an idiot if I ever needed help with something. When they had me take out the trash in the middle the day, I saw my car in the parking lot and I was tempted to just bolt and never come back. But I decided against it and stuck it out for the rest of the day. Thats all I could handle. Working there was a horrible experience and I dont recommend it.

I will start by saying I have been to other smash burgers, and I enjoy them, so I know what a Smashburger should be like. This was 100% not it. Their front staff was rude from the moment we walked in. It took an inordinate amount of time to get food, over 20 minutes. They said they were understaffed but there were multiple employees in the back talking about the fact that they were cooking their own food while we had to wait. Next when our food came out, I had ordered a big and my wife a regular. They were the same size, when I told their staff I was very rudely told I was wrong, laughable since I had a regular in front of me to compare food. To top it all off, half of my burger was fine, and the other half looked like it had left over char from the grill and was inedible. Seriously dont was your time or money on bad good, and rude staff who lie. Also their store phone doesnt even work, probably got tired of being called on their quality and shut it down. I will be opening complaint with the cooperate on Monday

Love the food but the service is horrible. For the second consecutive time, I have walked in and there is nobody there. No cooks, no cashier, no manager.. absolutely nobody. I stood there for over 10 min and finally a cook walked out and saw me, he immediately went to the back and then more employees appeared. This was at 7 pm both times. As I waited for my food another family walked in and stood there. I looked into the kitchen and could not see anyone. The gentleman walked around and asked someone to take their order and someone finally walked up to help. As a side note, the restaurant was empty so its not like they were just too busy to help. This sux because I really like this place and the food.

Worst dining experience ever! Placed our order at 11:59 am. My wife received her burger at 12:16 pm, it had been sitting under a heat lamp for 4 or 5 minutes and was fit to be used for a hockey puck. The sauce on her burger was almost pure vinegar. My food arrived 4 minutes later. The French fries were stone cold and uneditable. We were also over charged. I asked for a burger, fries and water to drink, but was charged for the combo price. So instead of paying $2.09 for the uneditable fries I was charged $3.99! We will never go to the Highlands Ranch Smashburger again!

Visited on 3/10/17 at 5:00pm. I dont usually write reviews, but this experience was especially bad. Restaurant was dirty: tables not wiped, trash from previous diners on almost 50% of the tables. Cashier was coughing open-mouthed all over the place, took our order and turned her back on us did not even give us a receipt. When food arrived the burgers were dry and overcooked and the fries were cold and old. We requested new fries and the cashier just ignored us so we left. Dont know what is going on with this location, but I dont think we will be coming back again.

This location used to be good but seems to be really going downhill. In general I love Smashburger, but wont be going back here. I ordered my burger at 12:22 and didnt get it until 12:42. There were only 2 people in the kitchen when I arrived, and 1 person taking orders and trying to deliver food. This was during lunch rush. The burger wasnt up to usual Smashburger standards. It looked like it had been on the grill about 10 minutes too long. Crispy and beyond well done.

Two stars because of service. Have had their food one time before, is pretty good. This time around, tried calling and no one answered after like 15 rings. I get there, and the restaurant is totally empty. Walk up to the counter a find a very bored / not friendly girl. Usually the shops in this center have great customer service. With as much competition as they have, will just go to one of the other 16 places in walking distance.

You guys suck. You didnt let me order even when you werent closed. The stupid lady said they were closed when they really werent for another while. Also you website says the wrong time. The lady was rude and the place looked like trash. This was the smash off of university and Im very very dissapointed! Fix your restraunt. Also now instead of your workers working they are just out smoking when the resterautn should still be open.

Good food but pricy for a burger. This store is filthy... At noon and 20% of the tables were in use but 100% were dirty. 1 girl was cashier, busser, and food runner. I had to ask for a table to be wanted. The worst part was the floor. there was so much grease of the floor it felt like walking on an ice rink. You could see the entire flour had not been cleaned properly in a while. DISGUSTING

I have been here quite a few times. It is kind of pricey, and it can take a while to get your food... This last visit was the worst, they messed up or order 5 different ways. If they can get your order right it can be an "ok" place to eat if you want a burger... oh and the shoe string fries are pretty good.

Delicious! My only complaint about this Smashburger is that there isnt a ton of seating. I think they should put a deck on the side of the building with some tables and chairs. Also, this location doesnt have Cherry Coke like some of the other locations. Try adding a fried egg to your burger. Its amazing!

10/23/16 7:05 PM. The lady/kid at the front counter said "we ran out of patties and we only have 2". We (were a party of 5) then stepped into Noodles & Co, only to find them serving again. Wish the lady/kid tried a bit harder to relay this to her supervisor and replenish the patties before turning us away.

Went on Monday of this last week and they were slammed with a huge order right before we came in. The manager was amazing and after he realized we had been waiting a while he made it up to us and handled it like a champ. It really made my wife and I realize that we will be coming back time and time again.
