Extremely disappointed in the food at this place. I had the chicken Tom Kah ($14) and it was extremely sweet. I mean so sweet you could make a dessert or even ice cream out of it. It literally was the grossest soup I have ever eaten! Oh and they stick about a whole tomato in your soup which makes it seem like you are getting a much bigger portion then usual. This is my favorite soup and I have eaten it at resturants all over the U.S. and nothing comes close to being as sweet as this places soup. I could only eat 4 bites before having to throw it away. Unfortunately it was a complete waste of money and it was pricey too. Now, I also tried the shrimp Pad Thai ($15) which was okay. It was definitely a smaller portion compared to most resturants and it wasnt anything to write home about, but decent. Then, there are the fried wontons ($6) which barely had any protein in them, huge disappointment. They might have tasted good if there was any filling in them to taste. Overall, very disappointed in the food. If you want good Thai food try somewhere else but here. If you want to spend a lot of money on subpar food then go here. Its a shame this place is so disappointing because its in a great location.

A wonderful restaurant! Ive been here twice now and both times I had a lovely meal. The food Ive eaten there includes: Heaven Beef Rolls Angel Pad Thai with Crispy Soft Shell Crab Egg Noodles with Wonton Dumpling Soup Everything was so delicately flavored, I especially noticed the soup broth tasted like hours had been spent simmering spices to get the right flavor. We also chatted a bit with the owner and could tell she had really poured her heart into the restaurant and cared about our experience. Despite apologies for the slow service, we found the service absolutely fine and hardly had to wait at all between placing our order and receiving our food. This is just a really outstanding dinner spot!

Tried this place because another Denver Thai restaurant was my familys favorite, and we heard about this opening. Well...now we have a new favorite! th restaurant is definitely more upscale than your typical Thai place, with a great interior. They served us plenty of food (we all took a doggie bag home) and the plates had a wonderful presentation that was unexpected. Great place for a business meeting/date, or just a place to enjoy a fantastic meal. Another plus is they have an awesome bar with great, original Thai drinks. We live in downtown Denver but it was only a 15 min ride down 6W so not bad at all!

I love Citizen Thai. Living in the neighborhood, I come here often (for both take out and dine it). The dine in atmosphere is superb and the staff is excellent. The lighting really creates an enjoyable mood inside. Takeout is fast and I rarely wait. My favorite part about Citizen Thai is that the staff will go out of their way to provide myself with the spiciest dish possible, regardless of what I order. Mmm. I have yet to have a poor experience.

I think the food, service and atmosphere is good. The food is authentic - not a Chinese version of Thai. The place is clean. My only complaint is that they are a little stingy with the food and should have larger portions for the amount of money that is being charged. I dont want to spend $21 on lunch and walk out of the restaurant still hungry.

Ive just served 20 hungry people the beautiful catering display the owner, Oun and her fabulous staff, put together for us. Everyone is raving about food quality, display and above all, taste. For a reasonable price, we received outstanding service and the most authentic Thai (and delicious) food. If you havent tried them yet, youre missing out!

Im originally from Thailand and now luckily live in Golden, CO. This place reminds me of home. Their Tom Yum Noodle and Boat noodle are fantastic. The fried banana with ice cream is also a must try. The service is also lovely, you can tell them to make your meal as spicy as you like. Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in this area.

This is my second time here, food has been amazing both times. The service was excellent and the drinks are fantastic! The food is more authentic and better than any of the other good Thai restaurants in Golden and I strongly encourage anyone looking for an excellent dining experience to stop in and check this place out!

Great authentic Thai food. Dinner portion was huge, had enough leftover for a second meal. The service was excellent.glad there is finally a Thai restaurant on the west side of town. My wife likes Thai a little spicy and I like it hot the chef cooked both played exactly how we wanted them. Highly recommend this place!

The place doesnt look like much from the outside, being in a strip mall, but dont let that fool you. The chef knows how to create a Thai dish. Just know that "hot" is very hot, and so is medium. :D Whew! Youll be beading sweat on your forehead. If thats your thing, go for it... If not, order mild heat.

This is our new favorite restaurant. Great authentic Thai food in a lovely atmosphere. I had the Thai fried rice that was a LOT like the fried rice I had in Singapore (which was the single best thing Ive ever eaten) and my wife had the Spicy Eggplant that was AMAZING! Id give it 6 stars if I could!

The food here is fantastic! My husband (who has traveled throughout Thailand) and I come regularly and are never disappointed. We especially enjoy the soft shell crab pad thai, Bangkok ribs, autumn curry, and brown rice in clay pot. The service is very friendly and the prices are excellent.

Stopped in for lunch after arriving into Denver for a couple of days. Didnt have much time and had to leave room for dinner with friends tonight. Had fried rice with tofu just to get an idea. Service excellent, food delicious, decor inviting. Will be coming back before I leave Denver!

This place has always been great, and the wait staff is very friendly. We come here almost every week. Everything on the menu is good but I particularly love the Boat Noodles! Ive never tasted anything like it and it keeps me coming back. Couldnt recommend this place more.

Came here at noon on a Tuesday, sat right down. Very clean and simple atmosphere. The dish was very flavorful. Spicy basil rice. $9 for lunch. I love Thai food and this was a very pleasant find.

Drunken noodles are good. Tom kha soup comes with rice!!! Wierd!!!... Chicken satay & spring rolls were as expected at any thai place.. no surprises. Nice little place with good ambience.

Green curry is my favorite Thai dish and Citizen’s did not disappoint. Not the best green curry I have ever had but pretty darn good! Great atmosphere! Will be back when down in Golden.
