Home of Jefferson County misogyny, racism, homophobia and xenophobic white men. The owners of this business have dedicated space in their Wheat Ridge location to the exclusive organizational needs of the Jefferson County Republican Mens Club... purveyors of hate, intolerance and right-wing action against diversity and equality in a community that has been suffered as a result. If you value a decision with your dollar, understand where that dollar goes when its paid to Davies Chuck Wagon. Im ashamed to admit I gave them far too many in the past, and Ill be seeking ways to amend via efforts to encourage others to understand the "values" these business owners support and to make their own decisions with knowledge. Im done with Davies Chuck Wagon and look forward to supporting business owners who respect and appreciate ALL members of my community.

Wonderful. The wait staff were so sweet, as well the food was great looking/smelling/and tasting. Matter of fact they made sure that ALL 4 drinks never emptied. The food came out quickly, and still hot and fresh. To top it all off they were genuinely kind hearted folk, who didnt seem to hate their life. The group i was with as well as a few other groups of people like us (rag tag, odd balls and hippies) came in and none of us were treated poorly. Deffinatly worth it. ✅Cheap ✅Delicious ✅Respectful staff ✅On top of orders ✅Genuine customer service ✅Genuine smiles all around (us included) *PLEASE DONT JUST DRIVE BY. IT REALLY WAS THAT GOOD. I AM A CUSTOMER SERVICE NAZI (SO TO SPEAK) AND THEY BLEW ALL OF US OUT OF THE WATER!!!! ITS NO FIVE STAR WHITE COLLAR PALACE, BUT DAMN ITS GOOD EATN!!!

I first started coming too Davies in 1974. My SIL and I used to go for fries w/gravy and Pepsi, shed always have coffee with hers. Every mid morning. Wed hang out and talk with Diane and Carol (the waitresses). Today I brought my grandson after his first grade graduation, for breakfast. I fell in love all over again. A great place to go for coffee and company! When its busy like it was today, a little wait is worth it! Time to relax and just connect. If you want to grub and run go to a fast food place. We had no wait time. For anything.

I used to eat here when I was a kid. That was back in the 1950s, and it was an icon then too. If you like gourmet food, this may not be your cup-o-tea. but if you like just good country down-home cooking done right, at a great price, then do not miss this classic silver rail-car style diner. In deference to the person who said this was "dirty-looking", at 65 years old and somewhat dirty-looking too -- I am just a youngster compared to this place. Trust me, I ate there 5 or 6 years ago and still loved it!

This adorable, original pre-fab diner is further out on Colfax - but if youre a true diner aficionado its one to check off your list. From the signage & the menu to the architecture, its pure diner heaven. Waitresses are quick and attentive and your food comes out so fast you cant finish a conversation before the plates are in front of you. The food is nothing fancy - but thats not the point at a good diner. It was comforting, cheap and yummy. I hope to return!

If you ever want to have a old fashion diner experience with good food, Davies Chuck Wagon Diner is it. The building itself is unique and has the look of a fifties old time chrome and steel appearance. The tables still have the personal jute box on tables to play some of your favorite tunes while you eat. And of course the food is excellent, it is a good place to get steak and eggs at a reasonable price. Most definitely will be revisiting..

My wife and I moved here not too long ago and we go here at least twice a month. This place seems to have a long tradition not only of very friendly staff members working there, but Ive never seen a restaurant with such nice customers as well. We absolutely love the food and they have the best prices of any place weve been to. I eat like a horse, but this place even fills me up for less than $10. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Very good food, *authentic* nostalgic atmosphere, great service (and quick)! Ate there today for the first time and enjoyed it very much. Steak & eggs for only $5.75 and worth twice that cost! We only recently heard about this place, in an article in AAAs magazine "Encompass." This place is actually registered as a historic building. This is no copycat, retro Gunther Toodys -- its the real deal, the original! Well be back!

Its Colfax, what do you expect? I tried to give the place a chance because its a historic diner. Poor service. Fried chicken arrived black. I had to force my wife to give the place a chance because it was so dirty and dingy. Huge mistake. She tried to eat the chicken but couldnt. See photo. But hey its Colfax. Clientele is Colfax Walmart trash who dont eat vegetables and put gravy on bread. So if thats you...

A friend & I came here because of the giant horse & the busy parking lot. We werent disappointed, Everything was good. my friends burrito was the size of the plate & mine was huge as well. Wed go back. the only down side is that its only open till 3, but that only at this location. there are 2 more & they seem to be more lunch & dinner diner opposed to this one only being breakfast & lunch. Id go back.

If you want the classic short order Americana Dinner experience, in an authentic 1940s stainless steel dinner that was delivered in two prefabbed pieces on train cars, you have got to visit Davies Chuck Wagon ~ ♥ ~ the food and service will bring you back! As a Colorado Native, I can honestly claim I have been eating at Davies for 55 years... and never been disappointed. Yeah, its a land mark!

Quaint little diner with the most amount of character youll find in Colorado. Great place to enjoy by yourself or with a friend. Super nice waitresses that are always on top of it. The chuckwagon breakfast is an extremely affordable classic that never disappoints. The heaping plate of huevos rancheros will never do you wrong either. Hope this place never changes!

Ive been going to this place for 25 years the values always been great. Its a great place to get breakfast. He can get a little cramp sometimes but theres always the outside which I love. If youre looking for a good inexpensive breakfast and a great place to hang out this is your place. And theres another one not too far away if its too crowded.

Horrible service had to wait 15 mins to get our drinks. Our food came and we had to wait till the end of our meal before my husband finally received his toast that he ordered with his meal, and only got one cup of coffee. They refilled everyone elses cup around us but never came to see if we wanted anymore.

We Googled good chicken fried steak in the Denver area. We were not disappointed. We came for the chicken fried steak but then I saw the excellent price on steak and eggs so I got that instead. We were not disappointed for either item. Fast service and every one was friendly. So glad we came.
