My wife and I like to stop here occasionally when coming back to the Springs from our property in Park County. If we stopped every time like I would like to, it would be easy to gain a lot of weight :-) Ive yet to try the brisket but I do love the ribs and pulled pork. The ribs are the best Ive had in Colorado by a long shot. They are fantastic. To me, theyre good enough even without a ton of rub. Im from the South and I have to admit that the sauces are very good and always surprise me with how much I enjoy them even when theyre not traditional bbq sauces. The sides are the most creative and best Ive probably had -- even in the South. The cole slaw is fantastic and we always look forward to seeing what these guys have cooked up new. If you like Rudys or Bird Dog BBQ, you may not like this as this is a little more gourmet (but thankfully not hipster and no slates to serve your food on) and well worth the little extra.

This BBQ place has changed hand 4 times in 6 years. Mikes Corner BBQ is what I am currently rating for future reference. I think hes been here for a couple of years now. His bbq is ok. Its tender, falls off the bone on the ribs, brisket pulls apart easily...all the texture is correct. However there is NO flavor. Theres no rub on the ribs, wet or dry, or the brisket from what I can tell. Heres your cooked meat and some sauces...have at. The sauces are ok but does not make up for the unflavored meat. The side are ok but I make better at home so its not really a saving grace. If for some reason you carry your favorite bbq sauce with you, then by all means, eat there...the meat is cooked to perfection. It simply lacks any actual flavor.

Convenient location, very friendly staff (owners) The food was decent, good flavors but not great. The meat should fall off the bone, especially when you make the claim that it "falls off the bone" Ive had fall of the bone ribs and this was not fall off the bone. I might give this place a second chance when Im on the go but, certainly not a place Id go out of my way for. If I did give this place a second chance and I have the same food experience as the first, it would be my last. Im the type of person that will drive a 100 miles out of my way for great food but pass you by for just okay food if you were right next door.

Came here to try the smoked trout, and I was very disappointed. Was asked if I wanted it hot or cold, and I requested it hot, and to my disappointment, it was heated up in a microwave. The trout had no flavor. Tried the corn souflee, for $2.50, and was given maybe an ounce and a half. Kids had the pulled pork so I tried that, found it also to have no flavor. Way over priced for everything. I should have known it wasnt going to be good when I noticed 2 things 1) the lack of BBQ smell when I walked in and 2) the fact they were pushing their sauces. Good BBQ doesnt need sauce. Dont waste your time or money.

Driving the scary roads between Cripple Creek / Victor and Canon City you work up quite an appetite. Mikes in Divide is right on the way home in CO Springs. They have tables outside with umbrellas so you can enjoy the fresh air and scenery while enjoying their made on the spot BBQ. We even had them deep fry a turkey stuffed with garlic for Thanksgiving one year.

Good BBQ. They were out of ribs when we visited (lunchtime on a Wednesday) which was a bummer. I had the pulled pork instead. Bun seemed a bit stale but the meat was good. Good portions. Baked beans were more like a refried bean texture. Different than what Im used to but tasty. Potato salad was great and probably my favorite part of the meal.

Stopped there for a quick bite on the way to the Royal Gorge. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food however, was not that good. Im from the South and we know barbecue. And trust me, you cant just hand people a plate of fairly tender meat with some sauce on the side and call it barbecue. Its not a place I would try again.

We drive from Colorado Springs for this BBQ. Best part is never know what goodies they have made just for you to try. I suggest the candied bacon which I have labeled as "Man Candy" Everything we have had so far has been amazing. Being from the South we are very picky people about BBQ. Hats off to these people.

Exceptional BBQ, fresh homemade sauces to fit any desire. Brisket is juicy and tender. The owners (usually on sight) are extremely welcoming and always have something special smoked and savory to satisfy. A must stop if your passing thru or are near by!

Nice outside patio dining. Great BBQ!!! We have tried the pulled pork, ribs, and a few other things. All GREAT! Try the potato salad and the Bacon is Awesome!

The prices are too high for the food they serve. When I buy barbecue, or fish, I want well-seasoned meat with lots of flavor. The food overall was bland.
