My family has been going to Newbarrys for over 20 years. I went in today with my mother for lunch. We always get the same thing, a turkey club sandwich. When our sandwiches were delivered it was obviously ham that was on the sandwiches. We mentioned this to our server, Roni, and she made us feel like we were crazy. She first said we didnt order right, then took our plates to the back, then returned them and insisted that what we were eating was turkey. Im sure that after 30 years of eating food I can tell the difference between turkey and ham. She then talked to the the manager in Spanish in front of us, which I thought was very unprofessional, even though we did understand what she said. Everyone around us insisted that they had just bought a different kind of turkey. I was so frustrated, I just asked for our check, which the manager just comped. It wasnt until we left that our server apologized. This is very disappointing, and I do not plan on going back.

I went in tonite and had to question my very existence When has it been the norm to not to put cheddar cheese on a Denver omelette? Or any kind of cheese on a Denver omelette? Then when i bring it to the managers attention she brings me a menu and shows me it doesnt have cheese in the details of the omelette cant say that Ive had a Denver omelette like that before it tasted so good too :( it was just missing the cheese I had a ham and cheese about two months from there and it was still raw and jiggly from the eggs being under cooked i honestly like their food but i just want a normal omelette other than that place is A1 ;)

The first time I was there I was far to young to care or remember even what I ate when I was a kid. The next time that I came back years later as an adult I noticed the dusty vent above where I was eating so I moved to a different seat food was alright without dwelling on the small details but the place wasnt perfect and it didnt kill me when I was a kid so I give it there stars for nostalgia

Have not been 2 the restaurant in a while ordered the chicken dinner to go was overdone the roll was hard french fries were old and did not get my rice dessert also the price went up I really think the chicken was old and rewarmed I really enjoyed their chicken dinner for many many years dont think Ill be going back for a long long time

We waited for awhile for our waitress to acknowledge us but overall it was okay food.. my salad had a lot of water in it but their ranch for the salad and chicken fried chicken with brown gravy was the bomb diggity. My boyfriend got the ribeye but it was really tiny and thin..

Local hot spot. Great food and service with that lovely natural flora lingering in the corners (AKA some tables arent wiped well.) Closes early so dont wait for your hangover to finish fading before you head here!
